I can’t print Smartsource anymore, tried everything. Hate I’m missing such good coupons . 🙁

the same thing happened to me. my husband wonders if it is b/c our printer is “old” – six years. I wonder if the coupon sites have recently updated and are not compatible with older printers. i am so sad i am getting a new printer tonight. we will see if that fixes the problem!

I don’t think 6 years old printer is old. My printer is 10 years old, bought it in 2000. It prints everything!!!! (Office Jet K60) You should search on the internet any updates available for your tipe of printer and download them in to your computer. If you will still have problems call your customer service rep. (phone should be in your manual) and ask them directly.
won’t print for me either! i thought maybe smart source is not compatible with windows 7… who knows…
same here what is going on, i cant print from coupons.com or bricks either, i am so upset about this, i even payed a tech person to come to my house , and he cant get it to work, i emaied all the site about the problem ,,,,,still no printing from these site, sucks really and truly sucks,

i am another one that cannot print coupons from smart source any more.
If only I could print smartsource coupons 🙁 I have tried everything and nothing has worked. The only thing that prints out is a small image of the item 🙁 Our printer is new. Bought it two weeks ago. Smartsources seems to always have the good coupons too.
I had that problem but have fixed it. If I remember correctly, for coupons.com to print correctly, you need to turn spooling off on the default printer settings. Smartsource needs spooling on, though. So if you turn spooling back on you should be able to print from Smartsource again.
Hope it works for you. I’d try it out on a coupon you don’t want, just in case….
Mine print, but take longer than it used to.
I can print the smartsource coupons at my local public library I just log in to one of their internet computers and pick which ones I want. HTH
You’re so lucky that your library allows you to use coupon printer downloads, mine does not – I can’t print any smartsource, coupons.com or target coupons from our library. The only coupons I can print are PDFs that don’t time-out. It’s 10 cents per b&w page or 35 cents for a color page.
I can’t print in any browser except Internet Explorer. Try that, if you are using something else.
I use internet explorer, but still have no luck. I always wondered about the library. Wasn’t sure if we could print coupons there. Looks like I’m going to try that. Tired of missing out on good deals :/

No problems printing smartsource here. I use firefox and have an older laser printer.
I have an HP Deskjet printer, I don’t have any issues at all with printing from smartsource. I use IE.
i dont think its y’alls printers mine is brand new. its Smartsorce web page just runs slow. leave up the initializing page and come back minutes later. yr coupons will print. Thanks Collin ive been waiting for higher value coupons for these razors. but after last weeks deal on Shick Hydro razors im pretty stocked up with razors. i hope these go on sale soon. Walmart wants 11.97 for an 8 pack. Thanks again.
I just wish I could get my Walmart to take these! They hate the Smartsource and say they won’t take anything without an extra bar code in the upper right corner.
This took me a while to print out as well. These are my favorite razors, so I am hoping that someone will be having a good sale sometime soon.
Smartsource is really slow for me too. I usually switch to another window and do something else while it takes its sweet time loading and printing. I use Internet Explorer on one computer and FireFox on another and both seem to work the same for all the coupon sites. One of my printers is old and the other is brand new and they both work.
I can’t print at any of my local librairies either. They don’t allow the downloadable programs the coupons need to print 🙁 I even printed off the sheet that shows the programs are safe to try to convince them to download them onto the computers and they wouldn’t do it.
I know nothing about computers. But I know I’ve downloaded things to get my coupons lol. I haven’t had any problems yet with SmartSource though it does take a few more moments then the other coupon sites to print.
My question is..are installed coupon printers installed different? Like does Coupons.com have their own printer..and SmartSource has their own? I just ask this because I know when I first went to SS I noticed the “How It Works” towards the top of the screen. It says something like “OUR coupon printer must be activated.” I clicked on it and followed the stuff to download it. I’ve never had any problems. So I’m just wondering if each site might use a different coupon printer? Or it doesn’t matter. Also says something about Java Print Control. I don’t know…just grasping at straws to try and help you guys with these SS coupons! 🙂
I can’t print anything from smartsource, I waited about 10 minutes and a page finally pops up saying that my coupons have printed and yet nothing has….
just keep waiting if u see it say “coupons have printed”. Mine is delayed too and it always says that way before the printer pops up on some print attempts. Then my icon finally pops up and printing starts. Also..if a box pops up that says something about timing out or something like that..dont hit ok. I found it completely takes away my coupon. just keep box up and wait.
Thank you CT! Been fighting with SmartSource for the past month and couldn’t figure out why I was just getting the small image of the item instead of the whole coupon. If you have the latest version of Java, it should print. I knew I did b/c it was getting through the process and printing – just not completely. Turns out that yes, the Print Spooling must be turned ON for SS and OFF for all the other sites (Bricks coupons, Coupons.com, etc.)
Go to your printer properties and on the Advanced Tab you’ll see the option to “Spool print documents…” and below that is “Print Directly to Printer” You need to choose the “Spool” option for SS and the “Print Direct” for all others.
