I’ve never had trouble doing that. WIth the new coupon policy, they have to except both coupons on 1 item!! Print off the coupon policy and bring it with you!!

Love the preview, Collin, thanks! I’m sure most of you know this, but the IVC (Instant Value Coupons) from these books work like the Walgreens store coupons in that they’ll deduct the coupon value off EACH item that matches the q, but you only need one q. So if you use the $2/1 Huggies Wipes, but purchase 3 of the wipes, it’ll deduct a total of $6. Also, I have stacked an IVC with a Walgreens store coupon (found in the weekly ad) and I’ve stacked an IVC with a manufacturers coupon with no problem (provided my item:coupon ratio was up to par). I haven’t had the nerve to attempt an IVC+store q+mfc, but would be curious if anyone else has tried that.
As someone else mentioned above, be sure you take the new Walgreen corporate coupon policy with you when you shop – THANKS, AGAIN, COLLING FOR FINDING AND POSTING THIS! – and hopefully that should ease any cashier’s concerns about scanning two q’s for 1 item.

JENN, I’ve stacked IVC+store q+mfc q, a few times, like for the visine deal a while back. Of course it is a YMMV thing, but the register didn’t beep at all. Just be sure to get some other items to absorb any overage.

Reagrding stacking coupons: The policy does state “When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.”
If the manager insists that the IVC coupons are manufacturer coupons (which they are NOT, even though they say so), then the policy doesn’t help at all. We’re right back to square one with this issue.
