    I love you Collin! ….in a sisterly way. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • DP

Me too – we are all “online sisters, I guess” ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Anna Sharum

I was just told the other day that flu shots are free at Walgreens… My kid’s step-mom was there and they told her that.

    • MissyLiz

The $29.95 price for flu shots is the cash price (ie, what you would pay if you don’t have insurance). If you have insurance and the shot is covered, the shot will be priced at whatever the copay amount for prescriptions is or even may be covered in full (unless you use the voucher in which case the cash price applies) Also, depending on what state laws are like in the state you live in dictates who may get a shot at the pharmacy. For example, I live in PA and under our law the pharmacists may only give shots to those over 18. The CVS minuteclinics (in select stores) have nurse practitioners who can give shots to those over 18months….again, it may vary some from state to state.

While supplies last, those who get a flu shot at cvs will receive a one-time use 10% off savings pass and if you schedule your appt online on the cvs website you should be able to print a $4 off $20 coupon. Sorry to have rambled on!!

      • Melindatx3

This was very helpful! Thanks for all the details. I have 5 that need shots this year so any way I can save is great!

  3. Jess G

On the Nivea deal, the circular says that all Nivea body lotions are included. If that’s true, you could just buy two Happy Sensations Body Lotions (usually 7.99 each) and use two $3 off coupons (I don’t know which circular they were from, but they expire 9/30). With the coupons and the ecbs, you would only spend $2 a piece! Not bad because those lotions are rather pricey!

    • Collin

Thanks Jess. I have updated the deal scenario. ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. tonia

our target in dallas has the olay cleansing cloths on price cut for $ 4.22. i just got back from using the b1g1f Q along with the $1/1 Q, so got BOTH for $3.22.

  5. vb

I have a coupon for $1 off two purex. Will two extra care bucks print if I purchase two Purex? If so, then each would be 1.49.

    • Melindatx3

The limit is 3 so if you buy 2 then it will print 4ecb.

  6. Lisa

    great day tomorrow at cvs…….

  7. Meirav

I have a question – if you need to buy 30$ worth of select P&G products, in order to get the free flu shot, Do I have to purchase 30$ worth of the products in one transaction? Or can it be in 2 or more transaction (As long as I get to the 30$ total amount on the P&G products)?

    • Krystal

You can do it in multiple transactions, the Free flu shot is a coupon that prints out that you then take to the minute clinic or pharmacy

  8. Saleta

Sorry, I’m really new to all of this and still trying to figure out how to do it.

Where is everyone seeing the new weekly ad at? I looked on the CVS website, but the only circular/weekly ad I can see is the one for deals ending on 8/28 (today). Any help? ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks everyone (and Collin for all of these awesome deals!!) ๐Ÿ™‚

    • TD

the one on the website wont show til tomorrow. you should have received a copy in your mail yesterday? if not, just google CVS AD SCAN 8/29/10 and someone will have posted it!

      • Saleta

        Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Erica

Does anyone know of the SoBe Lifewater’s going BOGO anytime soon again?

    • Nicole C.

Yes, they are going to be B1G1 next week (9/5). If you go to https://www.simplycvsshopping.com/ – she usually posts upcoming ads. Usually at least 1 or two weeks out.

      • Erica

        Oooh thanks so much!!

    • Kavi Ravi

It’s again bogo on week 9/5

      • Erica

Yay!!! Gotta use my coupons! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve heard next week! I have soo many coupons saved ๐Ÿ˜€

      • kidsallgone

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it so much if someone can tell me how to get the BOGO coupons or whatever you are using to get them free. I think I went to the sobe dot com website and it kept trying to load and never connected ๐Ÿ™
        Thanks for any tips/info ๐Ÿ™‚

        • dpokorney

go to https://headsortails.sobe.com and play the game. It gives a BOGO coupon and hit the back button to print a second. It also resets daily, so in theory you could pick up 28 free Sobe’s per week!

          • Rockporter

Wow, seems only fair to play once per day as the rules say and print only once as the rules are

! winner per person per day. I think if we all do the coupon thing right as the manufacturers are asking us to do then the coupons will still be available in the future. I also believe that hoarding of coupons is not fair to the rest of the world who would like to get a deal or two. I am not trying to start a cat fight or anything, let’s just think of the others out there who need a bump up financially.

        • Anna in NC

KIdsallgone: Here is how you play the game –

The Sobe game is kinda tricky. If you donโ€™t have a code then choose โ€œPlay Nowโ€ under NO. When they are on the sofa pick a character โ€“ I always win every time with any one I choose. Once you choose someone a cameo will appear of their face then you have to wait until a white line forms around the circleโ€ฆ. watch for itโ€ฆ itโ€™s slow. You then have to help them unscrew the lid by using your mouse to move around the dotted line. The character will then flip the cap and hold it. Then it says โ€œDid you win?โ€ You then have to log in to Facebook or Sobe (either) with an email โ€“ I am able to play this game 3 times (6 coupons total) with 3 different addresses. Another white line will form around the cap and say “Tails you win”. The character will either be eating lunch and check their bag or looking through their gym bag and reveal your prizeโ€ฆ HTH Anna

          • jenny boyce

I won an IPOD – 8gb Nano – yeah!! It’s $150 value! But I ran out of prints for the coupons, so once you hit a certain limit per IP address, they shut you off.

        • Debbie

Had the same problem for a while with Firefox. Went to Google Chrome and it opened right up and I was able to play. So try that.

    • Krystal

    • Shelly T.

      Yay! You did GREAT!!

    • Amy

Where did you find a $25 coupon with NEW prescription? I thought they were only doing it for transfers now. I have 4 to get filled…and would LOVE to find one of these!

      • Amy H.

My CVS card printed out to of those $25 gift card w/new or transfer RX- at the red machine inside the front of my CVs store. ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Cara

Has anyone had problems using internet printables at CVS? I just went to get the Glade Sense and Spray deal for this week and they told me they don’t take internet printables unless they come from the CVS website. If this is true, it makes me sad.

    • Krystal

That is not true, perhaps that particular store is having a lot of issues with people copying internet coupons and using fake ones.

      • Cara

Do you know if there is anything I can do about it? I’m not sure if I should contact the store manager or the corperation…I’m just completely frustrated.

        • Tricia

I had the exact same problem at one of my stores in Detroit. I emailed corporate and they told me that there are regional loss prevention departments that make up their own coupon policies for the area stores and that they are allowed to do that. However, I find that hard to believe is what happened in this case as every other CVS in the metro Detroit area still takes printable coupons with no trouble. I told them that this makes for an inconsistent customer experience and that they needed to have a clear cut coupon policy like their competitor Rite Aid :).

          • Alexis

I had the same experience a week or two ago at a Rite Aid in Pittsburgh…same thing though–every other CVS in the city (that I’ve been to) takes the internet printables. It’s frustrating.

          • krista

I live in the metro detroit area and I have never, ever had a issue with using coupons that I print at home at any of the CVS stores I have shopped. I have had trouble with bogo coupons on bogo sales, but i emailed customer service and they contacted the DM and took care of it for me. I would try to contact customer service again. Maybe you will get a different answer? Seems silly to have stores in the same area with different policies

    • Mila

It’s strange. I go to one CVS that has never given me any problems. I have also gone about a mile down the road to another CVS and keep giving me a hard time. When they had the Sobe at BOGO…I went in with my BOGO sobe coupons and they would only let me use one. The other Sobe never gave me a limit.

  12. jessica

i love your site i check it everyday! you wouldnt believe the comments i get from having my money saving little book! well, you would but it feels great when people notice that you are saving a bundle!i love it its better than christmas for me!!!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went tonight to shop next week sales at CVS. Our store is cool like that and has that option available. BUT, the Schick Hydro 3 is not B1G1. It wouldn’t ring up as that…and the manager said only what is pictured in the ad, which ended up being the Schick Titanium. (AND, I had price checked a bunch of Schick razors…only ones showing up being the Titanium ones. So, head’s up on those when trying to pair with the $5 off coupon.

    • Melindatx3

Thanks for the heads up. I see what you are saying. I was planning on getting the Schick Hydro. Just crossed it off my list.

    • Lacey

I pointed the Schick Hydro not ringing up and what the ad states. They price modified them all for me b/c the add does not say “excludes Hydro” or “select varieties”. It leaves the consumer thinking ALL should be included. I was very pleased with the result. If anyone should have alot of those $5 coupons and wants to use them, be very polite BUT stand firm. It might be worth it to you. Ask them to honor their own ad.

      • Kim

My cashier overrode mine with no questions asked. I used 2 $5 off coupons (made it a $1 money-maker), plus my razors had free shave gel peelies on them! What a great deal!

        • Lacey

I ended up with 16 razors and 13 shave creams. I hope nobody flips out I got so many! No one else in this town will probably even have the coupons to be honest. Besides, there were lots left anyhow. They should have to honor what their ad states. Glad you got it too.

      • Janet

I went today and they wouldn’t budge but maybe if I try another store or call Corporate.

    • Elizabeth Fox

The store ad for this shick razors DOES NOT specify one type as the one on sale. Yes the picture shows the quattro, but it doesn’t says B1G1 Free on just that one kind.. it says B1G1 FREE on shick manual razor.

When i went in my local CVS today they didn’t have the B1G1 Free sign on the hydro razors.. so i took the store ad and an razor up front to make sure i could do the B1G1 free deal on those. At first they tried to tell me no.. it was only the quattro, but when i pointed out to them it doesn’t SAY it is only the quattro in the ad they went ahead and gave them to me as B1G1 free.

**Just an FYI.. all the hydro razors at my cvs store still had the peelies for a FREE bottle of hydro save gel with the purchase of any shick hydro razor. So i ended up getting 2 free razors AND 2 free shave gels!! So look for those peelies!**

      • Mila

The first CVS I went to would not give me the Hydro as a BOGO even though the store had about 4-5 different Schick razors on the BOGO promo and the ad only shows 2. I found that to be strange. Anyways, I found an awesome cashier at another CVS and he pushed it through. I also found the shaving gel peelies ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Danielle Hull

I noticed a hang tag on Welch’s juice yesterday; I didn’t look too closely, as I thought I’d just wait and see if it went on sale. Since it is ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ll definitely go back today and check it out. I think it was $1 off 2. Thanks!!!

  15. Andi

Just got back from CVS.. tried doing the Oral-B manual toothbrush deal with four crossaction brushes (my store was out of everything else). Now that I’m home I see that I didn’t get the 5ecb on $10 or more. Will they let me exchange them for the Indicator brushes if I have my receipt? I wasn’t sure if using the coupons would mess up the exchange (used two BOGO).. Thanks!

    • Lacey

The CrossAction is included. It is printing for some and not for others. Go back and make them print your ECB. Call ahead and let them know your problem, so if you don’t get up there today, someone knows your issue.

  16. Melissa R.

The ad states: tomato or chicken noodle.
The coupon states: excludes tomato and chicken noodle.

    Bummer!

    Campbellโ€™s Condensed Soup 2/$1
Use the $0.50/2 coupon found here
    Final cost $0.25 each!

    • Janet

yes I figured that out too. I paid .25 ea for 4 cans so I am still happy.

    • Andrea -- StuffWeMake.com

Where is the .50 off 2 Campbell’s Chicken Noodle? Thanks.

  17. Stephanie M

my favorite deal this week I kind of stumbled upon. My CVS had Intuition razors buy one get one free. I used 2 of the Facebook $4 off coupons so I got both for $1.99! Yay!

  18. Amberly

Just wanted to fyi, maybe you already know this:

At CVS when the mystery machine prints out a “get $5 off a $20 purchase for caliber stationary” I’ve had it happen each time where I buy 1 or 2 items it says and I get the $5 off and I’m not spending 20. I tried it once and its worked every time…

  19. chris

Does anyone know how to get the free diecast cars after buying the m&m’s? There are no details in the flyer & nothing in the store. Used my last two buy two get one free coupons since they were expiring today. I thought maybe something would print out on the receipt but no info there either. Do they get sent to you automatically if you use your extracare card? Thanks!

  20. melinda

Went to CVS yesterday to make my purchases, picked up the Crest Mouth Rinse and noticed that the size did not match the coupon. ๐Ÿ™ I did get my 4 toothbrushes for .23! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Priscilla

I was really bummed about this too!!! ๐Ÿ™

    • Mila

Yeah, I noticed that too. The $2/1 coupon is for a bigger size. Bummer. I was excited at first because there was only one 500 ml. mouthwash left, but then I noticed the size requirement on the coupon ๐Ÿ™

  21. Tina

On the flu shot promotion, is it $30.00 in purchases before any coupons and ecbs.

  22. seidina

I went to CVS to do the toothbrush deal today and they rang up at .74 instead of 2.99, so with coupons I got four for .74, obviously didn’t get the EB since I hadn’t spent $10, but still a good deal and if I go back and spend 7.00 more I can still get the EB. It looks like everyone elses are ringing up at 2.99….not sure if this was a mistake at my store, or what….

  23. LaurChc5

Just got back from CVS and had to share my deals ๐Ÿ™‚
Got the Phillips In-Ear Headphones for $6.99 and got back $6.99 ECB!

*The free charm with $15 beauty purchase printed out with this transaction and the cashier let me use it in my next one even though I didn’t have $15 worth of beauty products.

My next transaction, I got 4 boxes of the snack size double stuffed Oreos at $1 and used 2 $1/2 Q’s making them $.25 each for a total of $2.00. Got 3 cans of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soups and 3 of Campbell’s Tomato Soup @ 2/$1 and used 1 $.50/2 amd 1 $1/4 Q’s for a total of $1.50 for 6 cans. Got 2 CoverGirl Eye Enhanchers B1G1 50% off at $3.49 regular price. I got one at $3.49 and one at $1.74 and used 2 $1/1 Q’s making them $1.62 each for a total of $3.24. I got 2 Dawns at $.97 each and used 2 $.20/1 making them $.74 each for a total of $1.54. And I got my FREE box of snack size Wheat Thins using the $1/1 Facebook Q! My total was around $16 and the cashier said I could use the Free charm Q that printed out with my 1st transaction! I used up my $6.99 ECB too. After all my Q’s I paid $1.45 for everything! So excited!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Sorry it was long but I had to share ๐Ÿ˜›

  24. Nicole

Yay I’m excited! Just got back from CVS and spent $0.96 with 5 ecbs back! But at my CVS the childrens Oral B toothbrushes rang up as $1.49 each (did not advertise this where the toothebrushes were). I bought 2 childrens and 2 regular thinking it would total $11.96 ($2.99 ea) but it rang up at $8.96, therefore not giving me my ECBs back. But the sweet manager printed the ECBs for me ๐Ÿ™‚
There were also CVS brand Childrens Ibprofin for $1.37 and adult sinus and allergy med for $0.75!
    All that for $0.97!
