Just went to Riteaid. You can buy as many as you want of the Pantene Restoratives, it will print multiple up rewards. This IS NOT true for the men’s Nivea body wash!!!!! Unlike the last time, you can only get 1 up reward PER card! I tested it. I bought two together and got 1 reward. I then bought 1 more in a separate transaction, and it did not print a reward. Just wanted to warn everyone, I will be returning the body wash I got that didn’t print the reward.
I wish there was a way of knowing. I don’t understand why you can buy as many of the Pantene as you want, but not the Nivea.

I went to Rite Aid yesterday to get the free Gain detergents. The cashier refused to aceept the $1 Gain coupons because the sale prices is only $0.89 which is less than the coupon. I showed her the ad and told her that it was advertised on the ad. She said Rite Aid will lose money and all that. I tried to explain to her that is not true and it doesn’t matter since that was advertised. After going back and forth for a few minutes, she still refused to accept the coupons. Then I asked her to if I can speak to the manager but she said she’s in charge. Anyways, to make the story short, I told her I will call the corporate office if she’s not honoring it. She finally accepted the coupons with a very bad attitude and told me I still need to pay for the tax.
Has that happen to anyone? Does anyone have the phone number of the corporate office for Rite Aid? I find it hard to believe that cashiers at Rite Aid are so lack of customer services and knowledge of their own store policy. I have stopped shopping at Rite Aid for awhile (I am at the San Mateo County in CA) due to their lousy customer service and thought I’d give it a try again but nothing has improved yet.

What I have been told by my DM is that we are to modify the coupon down to .89 since we do not give money back on a tranaction. But yes, you would still have to pay the taxes on the item. Also another way to get around it (maybe, depending on the cashier/manager) is to combine it with another item to make the .11 balance from the gain coupon to go with the other item that you perchased. I’m here in South Carolina so not exactly sure what was said about this from their DMs but should have been somewheres on the same line.

So I told her that she needs to adjust the coupons down to $0.89 but she said she would have to manually enter the coupons. She was too lazy to manually modify the coupons!! I told her she needs to do what she got to do to take the coupons or else Rite Aid is false advertising. When she told me I still need to pay for the tax, I told her straight up that I know that and I am not trying to not pay tax. She makes me feel like I am stealing something from them.
I find it hard to believe they can refuse to honor what was advertised on the ad. Cashiers at Rite Aid don’t understand they will get the $1 back from the coupon and they are not losing money when customers use coupons.

Question: Can you use the Wonder Hanger Video Values Coupon on the Over the Door Wonder Hanger? The coupon just says “As Seen on TV Wonder Hanger” so I’m not sure if I can use it on the Over the Door one (which is what I want for my laundry room, I already have the regular ones)

I just got back from Rite Aid and kudos to the Rite Aid in Charlotte Hall, MD- amazing! I did three transactions and the cashier was the sweetest person ever. Here are my totals:
Transaction #1:
Total before coupons $20.96
Coupon Savings: $14.16
Got back: $5 UP+ Rewards
OOP: $7.29 (used gift cards I had from previous SCR for the Olay)
Transaction #2:
Total before coupons: $32.94
Coupon Savings: $27.00
Got back: $6 UP+ Rewards
OOP: 11.56 (used gift cards I had from previous SCR for the Olay)
Transaction #3:
Total before coupons: $59.55
Coupon Savings: $19.00
Got back: $21 UP+ Rewards, and will get back $7.59 SCR
OOP: 43.41 (used remainder of gift card and then paid the rest)
TOTAL Before Coupons: $117.45
Total Coupon Savings: $60.16
+Up Rewards total: $32
SCR Total: $7.59
