  1. Brianna

Looks like a great week for freebies!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

there was a 1.00 off colgate tp in the diabetes and you book i believe that exp 9/30 that would make the toothpaste free

  2. cjs

Thanks Collin! Is the Listerine coupon printing out for anyone? I have tried several times, and keep getting errors and/or it doesn’t print (the $2 off zero one).

    • Leah

I couldn’t get it to print one day last week, and then I tried again the next day and it printed the first time! Not sure what the problem was.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It was a pain in the neck, but I just kept hitting the special offers tab even when it was prompting me to log in and finally the Bricks printing page appeared.

    • Tonya

I had so much trouble with it last week that I finally e-mailed Listerine. I sent the email on Monday, and on Thursday, I received Listerine coupons in the regular mail. Granted, they were only $1.00 off, but the turn around was excellent. Their customer service is AMAZING!!

      • OiOi

I agree, I had some trouble with printing their coupon last month and they were so kind to mail me a couple of $1.00 coupons within a few days – I was so impressed!

    • Trina

It’s on the site for $1 now

    • Sara

I was unable to print the coupon too and now I am only finding a $1 off instead of $2. Sad to have missed out on that deal.

  3. Rebekah

Do the monthly RR start tomorrow or Sept. 1?

    • Collin

Yes, the monthly RR’s start tomorrow, August 29th, and run through September 25th. 😀

  4. Leah

Thanks for all the great matchups, Collin! There’s also a $2/1 Tide Stain Release coupon in the September issue of American Baby magazine.

  5. wendy

is the zegerid rebate the same one from 1-2 weeks ago?? or is it different because it prints as a RR?

    • Theresa McCarley

Good question! If someone gets the answer please post!

    • Lisa

I’m wondering the same thing. Anyone know?

  6. Wendy M

Ok, is it just me, or is anyone else a little hesitant to get the RR deals? I hesitate because of the new policy of not being able to use more q’s or RR than you have items. I mean, if I get a bunch of RR this week, I have to do a bunch of small transactions just to be able to use them up. Am I looking at this wrong?

    • Kelley R.

That part of their coupon policy is the same thing that is printed at the bottom of the register rewards already. It’s not much to worry about; just grab a few little items when you need to (like gum, clearance stuff, a pencil or an eraser) to “fill in” your amount of items needed to match your number of coupons. I’m actually glad that the new coupon policy makes it clear that store coupons don’t count toward your total.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Actually, that’s the way it’s always been.

    • Becky R

This is the same policy they have always had, just in writing.

    • Kelly O'Donnell

you can also use your Walgreen’s register rewards at CVS and probably even your local supermarket – my Von’s (which is a Safeway affiliate) takes them. They’re just catalina coupons, they’re manufacturer coupons.

      • jenny boyce

Yes, I use my RR rewards at Meijer, Giant Eagle, Kroger and CVS. The Catalina’s are all interchangeable since they’re manufacturer coupons. It’s great!!

        • Heather

Su-weeeet! I just started couponing. This is splendid news!!!

      • Melindatx3

How can you use a RR at another store. I would LOVE to but Im not sure how it works? Do I have to use it towards only the brand of item it was earned from. For example…a schick rr would only be used towards another schick item? And if so, can I also use another MQ for schick with it?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You don’t have to use the RR towards Shick because you got it from Shick. At Publix I give them at the end of all my other coupons and it just takes dollar amounts off my total. I only recently had a problem doing this because I had $42 in RR to use and they thought i must have robbed a bank i guess lol. I am supposed to take in a RR tomorrow to the manager looking into them and he said so long as it says “manufacture coupon” he didn’t see the problem. The thought was that they were taking it as a “competitor coupon” and just taking a $42 hit that night when in reality once they send those RR back to the appropriate company they would get their money back! I even called the Atlanta corporate office of Publix and HE didn’t even know the answer. I was like “really guys its not that hard.” lol Good Luck!!

          • Melindatx3

Thank you for answering my question. Since reading this post I have tried to use my RR at a few of the listed stores and the cashiers just looked at me like I was crazy!! Oh well, it was worth a try. Maybe someday I will find a place that will accept them, other than Wags….

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So I can use a register reward from Walgreens at Meijer? I never knew this. That’s great!!

      • Rob

Sooooo excited about this information! I did not know that!!! Yippe Skippeeee!! 🙂

        • Chrissy

My Walmart took the RRs with no issue. Even scanned correctly into their computer system, and the cashier didn’t have to key it in.

  7. Matt

Do y’all think that Skittles coupon from the Sept. coupon book will match up with the B1G1 deal on Skittles? If so…wouldn’t that make for 2 big bags of Skittles for 0.29? Hmmmm….

    • Rachel

Unfortunately no, because the skittles coupon in the Sept. coupon book is for the 14 oz. bags and the bogo sale is on the 7.2 oz.

  8. Freebies

Awesome. I gotta hit up my local Walgreens soon.

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My walgreens still won’t take internet coupons unless they are Walgreens internet coupons… Ugh 🙁 I know the new corporate policy states they will take internet coupons, but do you think it is up to each store to decide whether or not they are going to do this?

    • Carrie

I feel a bit better. Mine was an ordeal just because I asked if they could mark the coupon down (per their own policy). They just looked at me like I was crazy and said, we haven’t been told about any coupon policy. What’s the point of shopping there with attitudes like that.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Each store manager has the right to reject internet coupons if he/she pleases which is really inconvenient for us penny pinchers. Call 1-800-walgreens and make a complaint, they seem to look closely at those 🙂

  10. MamasPeyton

I am excited about shopping Wags this week!

    • ANDREA

      me too! me too!

      • Drea

        me 3 !!

  11. Yolanda

I just have a question, Does anybody know i the total effects body wash can be included on the buy $50 get $20 promotion that olay has, because I’m wondering if I can do this deal twice and then summit the mail in form because it’s expiring soon.

  12. Brianna

I just went and used $4/1 Glade i-motion coupons (on $3.99 sale price) and the lady was clueless as to why it wouldn’t go through. Lil’ old me (new coupon policy in hand) had to walk her though it!!!

    • Diana

I had the same problem at 2 stores yesterday. At my second store the manager priced the airwick at $4 and then scanned the coupon. I called corporate when I left the first store and the manager called me back today. He was reading me the part of the coupon policy where it says no cash would be given back. I had to tell him which bullet to look under and explain the policy to him. He told me to go back during the week and that he’d make it right. We will see.

      • Diana

Oh and he also told me that he didnt know how they could reduce the amount of the coupon and that he was going to look into it.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The manager is wrong, I work for wags there is a way to mark it down, we have a button for manu qs that we can manually enter an amount.

          • Diana

Yes, my sister tells me they do it for her all the time. Im guessing they are not familiar with it. He said he was going to look into it and hopefully he figures out how to get it done. Im planning to go back during the week. I tried a different store on my way home and I got the same thing from that manager. Maybe its just my area.
He was saying they could price the item at $4 so that I could use my coupon.

  13. ScrapGal

Anyone know where the Zegerid Q is in All You magazine? I don’t see it on the list of coupons and I think I’ll miss it if I just page through.

    • Ruth

It is towards the middle of the magazine. It is not listed with the other coupons in the front of the magazine. HTH

    • Brianna

      Mine was pg 66.

      • ScrapGal

        Thanks!

  14. Kira G

FYI there is a $0.30 off domino sugar coupon on their website…stumbled across it while I was trying to earn some swagbucks. It is for the 2lb or larger, I don’t remember getting a coupon for it in the paper so I was excited!!

  15. Michelle

I was in Walgreens today and the super nice cashier had next weeks ad and the week after next week (she said getting herself familar with it). She let me glance at both of them. One of them had a 2 day sale on Sunday and Monday and I can’t remember which one now, but thought I would give a heads up anyway. I guess if it’s not tomorrow then it will be the following week and it looked pretty amazing :o)

  16. Samantha

I haven’t done the Febreeze deal yet even though it has been posted before. The form just says that you will get a $10 “rewards card”. Am I right in assuming that this is a Visa card or something similar that can be used pretty much anywhere for anything?? TIA

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The card is acually a $10 Discover gift card, which I have never had before. You have to activate it, but I see no reason why it couldn’t be used anywhere Discover is accepted. HTH!

  17. kim nowak

the febreze deal is great at Target– if you can find the Home collection for 7.48 on clearance (heard it at a lot of places), buy 3 and use 3 4/1 from the 8/29 PG… pay. 10.44 plus tax and get back 10! — just watch that all 3 q’s come off…of course only 2 of mine did!!

I also had a 1/1 any febreze item target q, so that was nice 🙂

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

ok so for the L’oreal concealer i think you can use a $2 off coupon in 7/25 RP vs the $1 off so it will make a much sweeter deal! .99 cents!!! RIGHT?

  19. Mary

Scotch reusable strips were on clearance at my store for .74 each. They all had 1.00 off coupon stickies on the package, making them free. UPC 0 51141 91061 1

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went into Walgreens today, the pretzel m & m’s are up front in a special bin. I had them scan their coupon in the monthly september book, it took .50 off all 3 as planned. I then had 2 of the 1.00 off coupons that expire today, they wouldnt scan and I had one b2g1f coupon that was never tried to scan. Cashier called the mger.. first excuse, cant use two coupons on one item I explained their book is a wags only coupon, ok,, then they thought a moment, next excuse was i cant use the 1.00 off on the 2 that are tied to the buy2 portion of the other coupon. EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE.. i still think im in the right on this one, the coupon expires today so I cant try it anywhere else.

Is anyone else having issues with this?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bring the coupon policy with you

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It was in the car, I stated their policy is one coupon of mfg and one wags per item, it got me no where and I wasnt in the fighting mood. The next battle I will fight harder.

    • tomie

You need to use your mfg coupons first, then use wags coupon last. The computer wont take mfg coupons if they exceed the amount you are paying for them. Since you used the wags coupon from the sept. book first, it lowered the price before you were able to use your mfg coupons. The wags coupons will always work, that’s why you should do them last.

  21. Melissa R.

If I understand correctly…PG sells Crest..a Colgate coupon will not be in the PG. Does anyone know where to find it? Thanks!

Colgate Total Advanced or Enamel Strength Toothpaste 4 oz., MaxFresh/MaxWhite Toothbrush $2.99 = $2 RR
Use the $1/1 toothpaste coupon from the 8/1 PG (expires 8/31!)
    Final Cost FREE!

    • kathy

I beleive it was red plum or smart source. I already cut miine out sorry

  22. Coupon Princess

If your Wags also has a Clinic they have goody bags with samples and a few Q’s in them. There is a $1/1 Colgate Fresh Toothbrush that is for the RR this week!

  23. Trina

FYI~~the link to the Listerine coupons above says $2 but it’s only $1 still a good deal though!

  24. sunflower

Hi ladies- I just got back from Walgreens and got a Catalina for a “Walgreens Exclusive Promotion” for a Prevention “Healthy Fall Survival Kit”. Looks like a cool deal but no one in the store could tell me what this was connected to… did anyone else get it? It says to send form and original receipt. I have googled for both and can’t find anything. Any ideas??

PS: If you are wondering, I only bought the Perfection tampons, the Nabisco cookies and Colgate toothpaste.

    • Denise

      Hey sunflower
I got the same Prevention Jumpstart kit print out too! I couldn’t figure it out either but the only thing that I bought same as you did is the Colgate toothpaste, only problem for me is I also bought the zegerid and want to do that mail in rebate as well!

      • Karen

I also got the prevention catalina. The only things I purchased were the colgate and some cold medicine. Not sure what to do with it either.

        • April

I got the same thing and so did my mom. We both bought the colgate, and other things of course. Not sure if I should just sent the recpt in with the form and chance it or not. I can’t find a thing about it anywhere.

          • Tiffany

There was an ad in the Prevention Mag advertising the deal, if you bought the toothpaste or a couple of other things. I can’t remember if the original receipt was required or not, but I think the deal was limited to the first 5000 that submitted. It has been out there for a weeks.

    • Susan

I also got this catalina yesterday and the only item I have in common would be the Colgate toothpaste. I guess I will send it in and see what happens 🙂

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can someone tell me if the toilet paper is good enough to “stock up” ??

  26. Kathy

At my Wags (Chicago area), the Sinus Buster which is usually $15 was on sale for $9.99, and I used the $5/1 q in the Wags Sept coupon book and saved $10! This is a product my husband used to buy online for full price!!!

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m still confused as to why if the item is $2.50 and my coupon is for $3 they just adjust it on the computer?? When they send that $3 coupon into the company they will get $3 for it! Yet, they act like we are some how doing something illegal by wanting them to apply the $3 off our total since we are buying the item listed. We can’t help that they marked the item down! Just another way for them to make money i guess??

  28. seidina

I just got back from my most frustrating trip ever to Wags. My normally coupon friendly Walgreens scrutinized every single coupon and made me feel like a thief for using them. They wouldn’t take a couple of coupons that they had always taken previously and the cashier even told me that she was afraid of losing her job for taking coupons….all because of the new coupon policy. I hope that the new policy has worked for the majority, because it definitely hasn’t worked for me. I’m very surprised because I’ve really never had a problem at Wags…my Walgreens was always very nice and very coupon friendly. I know that a lot of people have had problems, so I just hope that I’m one of only a few that is frustrated right now.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sounds like they were just being weird, I’ve worked at plenty of chain stores and it’s usually just an uptight & out of touch manager or DM who is making mountains out of molehills. It’s just a coupon policy – no need to freak out about it. I’m sure once they actually bother to read the coupon policy they will calm down about coupon usage.

  29. Lolo

the coupon you are referring to was from 8/8 SS (i think ss) and it expired 8/28 not 8/31. BUT there is a coupon in the diabetes and you magazine at the pharmacy that will make it free. 🙂 HTH

  30. Lolo

sorry the above comment was intended to be in response to Melissa R. but my computer sort of froze and when I resubmitted it it posted down at the end. 🙁

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Can I use a Walgreens Register Reward at any Meijer like any coupon?

  32. Heather W

Does anyone know if the Febreze Noticeables are included in the Febreze Register Reward deal? TIA

  33. prettygirlbennett

i hate to be late and if no one has the time or patience i understand but i have to ask.. what is an rr and how does it work. i tried to figure it out from ur posts but i am still thoroughly confused.. Thanks in advance

    • terri

an RR is a Register Reward that prints out of a little machine next to the register for buying specific items. You should definitely check out the Walgreens site for more information, or this site, for limitations, rules, etc.

  34. Dana

Just went to go do the Loreal deal on the concealer and they were priced 11.99 and ringing up 6.99! I had the True match liquid concealer first ($9.74) and they weren’t ringing up on sale. The ones that are $5.00 off are the bare minerals true match powdered concealers… Such a bummer…

  35. Cris

I know the Tampax deal wasn’t amazing but they were needed. So I bought them anyhow. At check out, the register rewards printed out a Q for a Free 18ct box. So in the end, I bought a 20 ct box for 1.99 and then got a free box too. Not too bad.

  36. anjalirj

I went to into a WAGS yesterday to get the great deal on Trident gum. 2 packs for free with the Walgreens Sept coupon booklet coupon and a $1/2 Internet coupon. But both coupons wouldn’t work together. They scanned the WAGS booklet coupon first and then then the Internet coupon, and the IP coupon kept beeping and wouldn’t scan. I asked them if they could just adjust the IP coupon down (and it was some new gal that had just started working at the store) and she said “no.” She called the manager over. He said I couldn’t use both coupons because they are both technically manufacturer coupons and it says on the WAGS booklet coupon “one coupon per offer.” I told him that I thought the WAGS booklet coupons was a store coupon and the Internet coupon was a manufacturer coupon and he said no that they are both manufacturer coupons.

I wasn’t going to make a big deal about it, since it was just 2 packs of gum and I always feel weird if I’m trying to get them for free with coupons – so if it doesn’t work, I just back off. But I wasn’t happy about it. I think I may just return them to a different WAGS.

I didn’t realize until I read another post above that you should use the WAGS booklet coupon first and then the manufacturer coupon second.

  37. rogaine for women

Nice! Is that Rogaine a 3-pack of 1 month supplies or a 3-pack of 3 month supplies?
