Where do you find the dollar sticky notes? I haven’t found them anywhere at our Target stores and have checked three of them! Of course…I haven’t asked anyone who works there.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Jennifer,
I asked this last week as I too can not find them in my store (I only checked in one). This is the only answer I got and i don’t think it really helps because this is where I was looking. :S Hope you have better luck!

      “Kim says:
      August 25, 2010 at 11:23 pm EST

I found the Post It notes back by the school supplies in one of those bin thingies.”

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also found them in the school supply section…I had to look for them though…

    • maria

i looked in the yellow bin things where the school supplies are as well and got them. there were only yellows and greens left, but free is free! good luck!

    • Sherry

i couldn’t find them at any of our Targets either, But Walmart had a slew of them.

    • Tracy

Same here. I’ve been to about 3 Targets, 1 WalMart and 1 WalMart Supercenter. I can’t even find them for $2.00. I don’t even need totally free. But I’m not going to pay for a $5 or $6 package with a $1 coupon when I can go to the dollar store and get sticky notes that work fine for me. These prices must be regional.

  2. Mitch

Don’t forget the Planters Nuts! They were on sale in NY for $4 from $5. I had 6x $1 Target coupns and 2x $1 planters coupons. Paid 2.66 instead of 5.00 for the fancy Planters today at Target!

I didn’t have a Quaker Instant Oatmeal coupon in my coupon and I was so disappointed because I love that stuff! Anyone else not find it?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I didnt get alot of the coupons that were on Sundays Newspaper Coupon preview if thats what you were talking about. I know its always regional but it sucked because alot of the good ones did not show up in my paper : (

    • Avonia

If you have any boxes of oatmeal, you should check them. I have the smaller boxes and they all have coupons inside the box.

      • Tracy

I didn’t get the Quaker coupon either. I sent Quaker an e-mail telling them that I was really hoping to get that coupon and that I hoped they would consider my area in the future. I did get a response but no coupon. I’m still glad I wrote them. Maybe next time they will put the coupons in my area. I try to stay positive in my e-mails to companies and I get a pretty good response.

Anyone elses HIP LIst get deleted???

  5. Allison

Just a heads-up to anyone wanting to do the Tyson/Hidden Valley Ranch deal…you can only do it once per transaction. Learned that lesson the hard way! Oh, well…hope that helps someone!

  6. LH

I am having a lot of problems with coupons at Target. First of all, the register beeps “item not found” for multiple items that I clearly did buy. Secondly, on 2 separate occasions my same local store completely refused to accept ANY coupons for ANY travel size item (even when the coupon does not specifically say Trial/Travel size excluded). Today, they would not let me use the $1 Tide detergent coupon on the travel size packet. Nor would they let me use the $2/2 Right gaurd coupon on the travel size deoderant. They are telling me if the picture does not match to the product EXACTLY, I can’t use it, even when it says “$1 off ANY fill-in-the-blank product”. I called 2 managers over. They all said the same thing and would not accept my coupons. I have the Target guest relations # to call tomorrow. It was embarrassing being in the line and arguing with them. I had them take back the items they would not accept the coupons on. Is this a store-by-store policy? Their online policy does not address this “coupon picture must match the item exactly’ situation. Thanks for any ideas – LH

    • Mila

I have yet to try buying travel sized products at target with a coupon. I have heard so many horror stories that I’m afraid to try it lol.

I have been having trouble with scanning. They keep having a very hard time scanning my internet coupons :/

I have noticed that the Target cashiers tend to analyze my coupons more than any other store. One guy sat there forever looking over a catalina coupon that I was trying to use and had just received from that store 2 minutes prior to this transaction. It’s as if he was looking for a reason to deny it.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I know what you’re talking about. The cashiers at my Target are the same way. I hand them my coupons and then they lay them all out like it’s a puzzle they have to put together!! Not only does this make for very lengthy check out, it just flat out doesn’t make any sense. Thankfully they have always put all of my coupons through.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The Tide coupon is one that the cashier must manually adjust down to .98¢ the so-called “new & improved” registers do not automatically adjust down on those coupons – so if you get a manager/cashier who thinks that the register is God and makes no mistakes, And who also does not feel like following Target’s corporate coupon policy ( https://www.target.com/Coupon-Policy-Store-Merchandise-Information/b?ie=UTF8&node=2223357011 ) then I would give Target corporate a call or email. Sorry you were embarrassed and had a bad shopping trip.

    • Robin

Contact Target’s corporate offices. Contrary to what the managers of the stores are teaching their cashiers, Target stores in general, are supposed to be very coupon friendly. I called and complained about a recent bad experience I had and the nice gentleman I talked to told me that Target Corp loves for us to use coupons and fully explained what the coupon policy is. (Which totally matches what Collin and other savings blogs post) In the end, he sent me a $20 Target gift card for my troubles, plus put in calls to my store to have the cashiers undergo retraining on the coupon policies. I thought that would never actually happen, but low and behold- two weeks later I go back to the same store with some friends who coupon, we all went to different cashiers and they ALL knew exactly what to do when the register beeped, when a coupon wouldn’t go through and everything! It was awesome!! GL!!

      • Heidi

At my target, the cashiers always ask me if I have coupons! I think they have been trained to be coupon friendly, which I really appreciate. Never tried coupons with trial sizes yet.

    • Krystal

I haven’t had that line used at a Target, but at a 7-eleven. I was buying some V8 and had a coupon for 75 cents off one. Well my V8 Splash wasn’t pictured even though it said ANY V8 product. She wouldn’t accept it, she didn’t even try to scan it. I walked out a little dumbfounded because I had used it many times before, and then I thouroughly looked over the coupon and it said “any”. Whatever. I did have Target employees tell me I couldn’t use a coupon for $1.00 off on a trial size that cost like 99 cents. I told her all she had to do was adjust the coupon down. She called over a manager, manager was annoyed apparently at having the sell free stuff (what I think they fail to realize is that they are not losing at money), and they fixed it

    • Tracy

I’m not even buying the travel size items and I’m getting hassles with my coupons — ones cut right out of the RedPlum/P&G not even internet coupons.

Now, apparently, they are reading one per purchase as one per transaction. It is absolutely ridiculous. I had a bunch of coupons for hair conditioner and wanted to stock up. The girl stopped my line and went to find a manager. When she came back she said that she could only use one coupon at a time. But then get this, she offers to make every bottle a separate transaction. I was like, “Really? Is that ok with you/” She said “Sure, it’s fine.” Luckily I had some cash on me so I let her do something like 7 different transactions. Crazy. It didn’t say one per transaction.

Then I had another bad coupon experience where I was using those coupons for the free small bag of dog food. The register let her use one or two and then everything after that stopped deducting. I pointed it out to her and she just sort of shrugged and said “yeah”, It was such a mess that I even offered to have her just cancel the whole transaction and I would take my stuff over to the Customer Service Desk and have them check me out. She didn’t want to do that. So then I told her the coupon clearly said a FREE bag and I didn’t want the dog food if it wasn’t free. She then got the coupons to work. Just a heads up to really pay attention because it seems like your coupons are going through fine and it is just registering a coupon and taking $0.00 off of your receipt total.

I’m really getting frustrated with Target.

I need lactaid milk-does anyone need anything to trade for 2 printed coupons of the milk??? PLEASE!!! I will print anything or cut anything u need. jenny

    • debbie

where is this coupon found i will look for more for you

      • jenny

in the list above-the second coupon says Lactaid. thanks

    • jenr

I found $2/1 blinkies at my Publix.Last night I noticed that my target had it clearanced for $2.19.Fleming Island Orange Park Florida

      • jenny

Are the blinkies just for Publix??

        • jenr

          the blinkies are $2 manuf.

    • DEBRA

I have some 2.00 off any lactaid milk, if you would like a couple. Just let me know, and I will drop them in the mail for you. My RAOK for the day 🙂

      • jenny

Thanks so much, my address is:
        jenny malinowski
        825 Ninth st nw
        Grand Rapids MI 49504

  8. jenny

I’ve cashiered their (Target) and it is a puzzle trust me, the registers have improved but they still beep even with valid coupons.

  9. Melissa

I tried to buy 4 Tony’s pizzas for $1 each and use two $1/2 coupons. They were all the supreme kind because Target was out of pepperoni. The register beeped saying the item didn’t match. The cashier tried to manually put in a $1 man. coupon and it would not let her. No matter how she tried the new and “improved” register did not let her enter the coupon. I ended up taking it off my order. Target needs to get their act together. If a coupon matches a product then the customer should be able to use it.

  10. maria

im new at “Targeting”, I usually only do WAGS or CVS, but I’m brodening my horizons 😉 I have a question though; if I do the carefree ultra protection deal, can I get a gift card and use it again for the same deal? If you know wags, I mean can I “roll” them? If I did the same transaction again and use a gift card, would I get another five dollar gift card? please help, i’m finally running low on pads! 🙂

    • Melanie Odette

Yes, if you use a gift card for the next transaction, you will still get another GC if you do the same deal. It’s not a coupon, it’s like giving hem cash. HTH

      • maria

thank you! i couldnt find it in my normal target, the cashier said to look in a super target. i hope that its over there.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

anyone know where the Haines coupon is for the sock deal?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bridget, Target changes their coupons pretty frequently and most of their apparel coupons have an extremely limited time that they’re available – you have to print them asap when they are available or you’ll miss out on them. The $1.00 Hanes is no longer available but people who have already printed them can still use it (mine exp. 9/11) so that’s why that deal is listed.

  12. debbie

Is the Target coupon for SoBe water just a local coupon. I couldn’t find.

    • Texas Chick

I couldn’t find the Sobe coupon either. 🙁

  13. michele

How do I get the regional Target coupon?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You might want to try ebay but my .75¢/1 Bounce or Downy Target coupon expires today 8/30!

  14. Colleen Neel

The Target Bic coupon expired on Sat. bummer unless there is another one I couldn’t find?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I printed a Target $1.00/2 BIC stationery items a few weeks ago and it doesn’t expire until 9/11 – I’ve already printed my limit so I can’t tell if it’s still there but try zip 63119. hth

  15. sarah

Are all of the Tag Books on sale until 9/18 or is it just the Dora one?

  16. Jennifer

I’m assuming regional coupons are not found in every region but if they are in your region where are they found?…..in your Target flyer? I never seem to find them!

    • Renee

Sometimes Target will print coupons in RedPlum-it will be one sheet with a couple of coupons- the last one I got was for Tide. I live in Ohio and we rarely get the Taget regionals especially the giftcard ones. Target also sends out coupons through the mail. They had 3 recently that I received. We don’t know how they choose who gets the mailings- sometimes I get them regularly and then I didn’t get any for months!!!

  17. onelove1819

I really appreciate the findings you all do. ITs great. Keep up the awesome work.

  18. Claire

I found the Post- its in the school supply area. they were only there the week they were in the ad for $1 I have more coupons and can not find them anymore. And i am still waiting on the tape. i got a raincheck.

  19. Debi

The new Target coupons say “One per Transaction”. You can’t stack two Target coupons of the same kind together like people are doing for the Sobe drinks

    • bali

It depends on whether your Target store enforces this; mine (and plenty of others’) doesn’t care in the least and the coupons go through.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They have always said that. It’s not new. Like pp, it’s very much a YMMV situation.

  20. Karen

I tried to do the stayfree/carefree pads deal. NO DEAL. The cashier wouldnt let me do the buy one get one free with the gift card promo at all, and absolutely would NOT take the dollar off coupon with the BOGO coupon, even with 2 items. The mgr came over and said, nope sorry. Unfortunately she said their policy DOES NOT specify the policy wih gift card promos, so it is at their discresetion. So my options were: use the $1 off on each pad, then get the 5 gift card, or use the BOGO and no gift card. I decided to do neither. HMM….:(

  21. Rachael

The stayfree pad deal would not work at my target store. The register would not accept the B1G1 free coupons. Checker told me it was because of the $5 gift card. I had 4 packages and could only use one of my dollar off coupons, as the register said there were no matching items for any of the other coupons. After 45 minutes, 2 checkers, and 2 customer service people – I left the store without the pads.

  22. Rita

I envy those of you who can actually find all the deals listed! I periodically try shopping at Target for deals and every time I say to myself “who do I even bother?” I find very few of the deals, on top of which the one Target in my town is very coupon unfriendly. When I do attempt to use coupons, I’m always ready for a “battle” – ie “the machine won’t let me use your coupons” and then I get a blank stare from cashier like I’m supposed to say ok, never mind, and pay full price! I usually say “why not? I’m buying exactly what the coupon is for” and then they may or may not try again! Very frustrating!

  23. Our Nifty Notebook

As of yesterday, my local Target has NO school supplies out anymore. I was shocked, they only went down to 30%.

Does anyone know where the Mountain Dew coupon is? I tried the link and didn’t see it.

I can never get travel size items either at Target, no matter what the coupon says. I gave up trying.

  24. Heather W

I went to Target yesterday and the 12 pk Mountain Dew were $2.50. AND they had $1/2 peelies on them, so I got 12 pks of Diet Mountain Dew for $1 each!! I was so happy!

  25. kim

for the poptart deal my target q is for 12 ct or larger…….. and those on sale are the 8 ct. boo hoo, I was hoping for cheap pop tart codes!!

  26. Mila

I found the carefree deal. It wasn’t advertised, but the cashier scanned them and said that there is a $5 gift card promo with them. Here is the kicker though….they wouldn’t take my two $1/1 coupons. They tried scanning them, but the register kept denying them. Why? Well, the lady said that Target implemented a new policy only 3 days ago that no longer allows customers to use coupons on items that have a gift card promo. Does this sound right? It’s crazy imo, because Target will get their money from the manufacturers, so why are they doing this? They were very nice about it and pretty much said that there is nothing that they can do. They have tried to manually push the coupons through, but it wouldn’t let them.

Have you guys heard of this new “Target policy”

    • Katrina

I just did this a bit ago today and it worked just fine. They took my $1/1 coupons and I got my gift card.

    • Michelle

      Call corporate.

  27. fairydust

Ugh, that would certainly stink as yet another change to policy! It would just be another reason to shop somewhere else IMO. I don’t understand why Target seems to be driving their customers away with all the coupon hassles. Like others, I have given up trying to get any of the free trial-size items when the coupon says “any”. Too much hassle when the coupon beeps and the clerks start arguing.

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did the Tyson Chicken Wings for $2.54 with free Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing today. Please note you are limited to one deal per transaction. Plus the free ranch is limited to $2.69, so you would have to pay extra for the organic. I tried to do 4 deals in one transaction, but the register only took off for one free ranch. Thanks to a great CS rep, who returned and rerang my order x 3, I was out of there with 4 free ranch in 5 minutes. Thanks Target.

  29. Paola516

Can someone pls pls tell me why I can’t print my Target coupons? I have tried to unblock the program it is installed in my computer and it won’t print. Anyone have any suggestions? Desperately seeking Target coupons…

    • Sara

The only thing I can say to help is…if you have a MAC and use Safari, you have to switch over and use Firefox to get Target coupons. I found this is the only way for me to get them.
Also, when using a MAC, I can’t print Bricks or Redplum coupons…poo!

  30. Cassiejoe02

I’m having a problem printing Target coupons. Can someone help?
