Off topic….I recieved my rebate check for the July Neutragena Clinical deal and it wasn’t for the purchase price. :( The letter attached to the check said something along the lines of recieving up to $40 back based on out of pocket costs. Since I used the $5 coupon available at the time I didn’t get the full price back so it wasn’t a moneymaker. Oh well, it was still free….

Just thought I’d let others know in case their checks haven’t arrived yet.

on the Captn Crunch, if you don’t have the insert q, there’s a $1/2 @ redplum.com, no size restriction either. Mine printed with a 12/31/10 exp date!!

Reference the Purina One coupons, I’ve found that if you are using more than one of those coupons at a time and the last one beeps, have the cashier sub total the order and then scan the last coupon again. The register will then accept it with no problems. Each time this happened to me and I told the cashier to try it that way, they were glad to be able to make it work. It also saved me from trying to explain the new coupon policy, which none of them seem to know about yet.

Hmm, that’s good to know. I just used a number of coupons on Saturday, and the cashier had to call the manager to verify the info about the NEW coupon policy. I stopped at another WaGS later that same evening, and I had to tell the cashier about the new info as well. She picked up the policy (which was copied on red paper) and read through it. I wasn’t sure which way she would lean but it turns out she’s a casual couponer so she was pleased to see the policy. Trust me, I have my printed copy with me always.

The Easy Mac individual cups are on sale (with in ad coupon) for 59 cents. If you play the macaroni spinning game, you can win a Buy 2 get 1 free coupon, so 3 for $1.28. Not awesome, but not too bad either.

  • Mmm, I love Captain Crunch cereal

In what order do we hand in the Trident coupons so the register doesn’t beep?

    • fran says:

      Manufacturer coupons first.

      • Smushy says:

        Thanks.

It seriously annoys me that Trident prints out a coupon saying I have exceeded my household limit. Why can’t they just show me a message on the screen like Bricks or Smartsource. Thanks for wasting my ink and killing trees, Trident.

Walgreens has the M & M’s pretzels for $2.49. In the new Sept. coupon booklet is a .50 cent coupon for them, and use a $1.00 on them. Get a large bag for .99 cents.

i got my neutragena rebate today and got my OOP. i purchased mine at wags for 34.99 and then had a $5 off coupon. got the full 34.99 back in my check.
i had a little trouble with the trident coupons today. normally i would love to get overage i wasn’t expecting but when i had everything i wanted and it was making me go negative by .8 i was pretty annoyed. i ended up ringing up two more packs of gum and then the mystery .8 disappeared. then i just had her void the extra two packs off. such a nightmare.

I did the Purina one 6oz deal at Safeway (they had them on a clip strip for .99) and all 5 q’s scanned fine – I purchased 5 bags. Then I noticed that Safeway had the 1lb bags of Purina One dry cat food on sale for 2.29. I had $2 off any Purina One q’s that I clipped from one of the inserts (sorry, I use the binder method, so have no clue what insert they were from), so that made them just .29cents each! I wish my cat at Purina One, but since he doesn’t, my animal shelter donation box is quite full! :-)

Yes it does, I have printed the coupon policy out 3 times and have left them with the workers each time they give me a problem. Have to print it out again so I have one with me.
