We tried the evalues and for us it definitely was not worth the price of the upgrade (and I usually shop there once a week).

the cost of this membership is $100, SHAME on Sam’s club for charging for the benefits that BJ’s and Costco give you with their regular membership purchase.

I only paid $27 for the upgrade at the service counter. But it does have a lot of good coupons. And when buying in bulk, you always save, this is their way of letting you save a little bit more. 🙂

$100 sounds like a lot of money. I’m sure a family of 4 or so could do better shopping sales! That’s just my opinion

I was at Sam’s today and saw that the 170 oz Tide was 19.96 (110 loads). So I was happy with myself that i got a better deal at CVS. I did the P&G free flu shot promo. Got 4 tide bottles, basic bounty, dawn bottle and a free flu shot which was the most important to me.

Make sure you present your free flu shot coupon at the beggining of the transaction, it’s not a typical coupon, they have to process it thru the computer.

For all you of you Sam’s Club shoppers, my Mom and I went to Sam’s this weekend and roamed the aisles for sales. She told me that if a product ended in a 1 like $3.91 then it was a sale item or on clearance and that was the lost the price would go. We found chili poweder, garlic salt, and some other kind of seasonig for $1.11 and that is a great price since they are such huge containers!! We also found lots of clothes on sale. I was able to get 2 little girls Speedo swimsuits for $2.81 each and Disney outfits for $2.81! The outfits came with shorts or a skirt and a top. You can hardly get a consignment shop outfit for that price let alone a brand new Disney outfit! We stocked up on outfits for my two daughters and bought a couple for my nieces birthdays- going to pair the outfit with the Dora DVDs from Target for $2 and have a gift for under $5! So if you are headed to Sam’s- keep an eye out for items that the price ends in a 1!

I had always heard if the Sam’s Club item cost ended with the 1 cent it was clearance. Does anyone know if Costco has a similar policy.
