Has anyone tried the carmex healing lotion? Does it smell like the carmex lip balm?

  • Mitch says:

I LOVE that shampoo and conditioner. Im glad I didnt spend all my coupons on last weeks deal since this one is so much better.

    Thank you Collin!!

  • shannon says:

anyone else notice that the price sticker says 5.99 for the carmex, not 4.99? would make it 1.99 then.

  • Angela says:

I’ve tried and the Carmex lotion and love the way it feels. It definitely has some of the same ingredients as the lip balm but a different scent. At my Walgreens they had testers out so you can try it for yourself. Especially good for really dry areas!

  • Debby says:

At my Walgreens the price says $5.99 and nothing about receiving any RR’s. But I did purchase it and it rang up $4.99 and got $4.00 RR back. So it does work. And yes it does smell alot like the carmex lip balm.

  • Candy says:

My Walgreens is not posting the prices on the shelf, but they are ringing up just as the deal states.

Ya I love deals involving no coupons. I will DEF get this to throw in someone’s XMAS gift. I decided since I have SOOO many FREE hygiene products (body wash, razors, lotion, tooth paste, mouth wash, etc) I’m going to make family members little gift bags..I will find a cute bucket of some sort at Dollar Tree and wrap it up all cute..everyone can use hygiene stuff and I’m the only one if my family who “coupons,” so things that are free to me are pricey and valuable to them! =)

    • Erin says:

I did the same thing! I brought a little goodie bag (3/$1 at the dollar tree) filled with all sorts of free stuff for all of my family to our summer vacation. I gave shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, razors, deodorant, lotions, body wash, toothpaste, etc… I made the bags extra cute by drawing everyone’s name and doodling with markers then adding some curling ribbon to the top. :)

if you arent willing to spend the extra money at dollar tree (or are a starving college student like me), then you can get a few of the extra baggies and ribbon that they give out at bath and body works when you buy something, put a few items from your stockpile in there and make gifts out of them.

also, when the “buy something get a trial size free” coupon comes out at bath and body works, i usually buy a small lotion (the trial one dollar ones at the register) and get the free item. i buy a lot of the same scents and either make a little gift bag, or put them in indivisual bags as party favors :)

  • Jessica Ellis says:

I just spent all morning at my 2 Walgreens in town!!!! I kept buying the carmex lip balms and lotion and then using the rewards on them to buy my John Frieda shampoo!!! I bought 30 John Frieda Coupons on ebay last week! I knew they would save me loads of money!!! 2.00 spent to get the coupons already saved me $40.00 today!

  • Amy says:

Question….if I use my $4 RR from the Carmax lotion to buy more Carmax lotion, will I get a new RR from the second purchase?

  • katyh says:

So… if i get the john friedas i can get the carmex on a seperate transaction and use the register rewards? Hope so i never do RR’s but I might start… This is a very good deal!
