I called and asked them and the said as long as the rebate dates do not overlap you can submit them every time.

Lucky me, I was in Tampa this morning and found them in the Tampa Tribune and the St Petersburg Times. They were not in my hometown paper – Daytona News Journal.

Hey everyone, I got some coupons at Dunkin’ Donuts for $10/$30 at Office Depot. If Staples accepts competitor’s coupons, that should make for some easy moneymakers 🙂

The rebate here last week was on Staples brand printer paper. I figure even without the coupon it’s netting 50 cents for a ream of paper..not a bad deal. I’m going to grab 2. Hoping to snag a coupon in the next day or two before I go there.

Hey guys! Anyone else have problems using a manufacturer coupon at their staples on an item that will essentially be free after rebate? I was told I can’t ‘make money’ on their deals.. if it’s free, they won’t take coupons… anyone else?
I had the same thing happen to me today. The cashier had no idea why it wouldn’t take a coupon so I had to wait for a manager to come over. The manager then told me the computer knew it would generate a rebate so it wouldn’t let me use the coupon. I tried explaining that they would get the money back from the manufacturer but she said no so I left without the paper.
I did it yesterday and the coupon wouldn’t scan the cashier called a manager over and they entered something into the computer manually. After I paid the cashier told me that my rebate would be for less than the amount.
I went to Staples today to utilize the Hammermill rebate and also snagged two other GREAT deals. I purchased three one-subject college-ruled spiral notebooks for $0.50 each! I also used the Avery coupon to get a FREE note-pad, and then purchased the 500 count Hammermill copy paper. My total was $4.86, so after the $4.49 rebate I will have gotten all of those goodies for only $0.37! Can’t beat that! THANK YOU Collin for all of your HARD work. As a working graduate student I love to save every penny possible, and I appreciate that you do the research and the leg work for me!
