I agree.. I’ve had more problems at Target than Walmart.. but still I’ve had problems and am sick of being treated like a criminal!

I am getting fed up with walmart (no caps here on purpose) I went on Monday and the casher was so rude I was price matching Rite Aid and she got all up tight and asked if I had my add so she should read the fine print on the sale because they will not price match their card sales or rebates witch I knew that, but the card, well then they better not price match most of the stores then. This one time I did not have my ads with me, they never ask for it. I try to go to ones that coupon them selves so they already know the sales. SOO SOOO rude she told me “sorry I have to do this but my job is worth more then not being rude to you. We have to do this because of dishonest people” as she stared me down. I have so many problems like CMS following me around and out to my car and telling the cashers that they are watching me and them saying she should not be able to do that. (referring to price matching and coupons). I think It is sick that the employees are scared to death of losing their jobs if they let us use a coupon. walmart needs to change how they work with people.

I would definitely complain to corporate if they are following you around the store and outside to your car. That is harassment!!

I have found lately alot of stores are getting tough on coupons but walmart is the worse. One cashier takes internet coupons and another doesnt always different rules when I go in there that I have stopped shopping there. I have learned w/rebates and sales I can get the same price somewhere else without feeling like I am robbing them

Did my survey, thanks for making us aware of this! Been a few weeks since I have had a chance to coupon, summer and being so busy has lead to less time to dedicate.

I am like most of you here, I would rather not bother with coupons at my local Walmart than have to go through what I usually go through to get the savings. I shop more at coupon friendly places and score some awesome deals. Love Kroger, Walgreen’s and CVS…oh and sure can’t forget Target! These stores in my area are all very coupon friendly and I have no trouble with them.

Thanks for the survey!!! Proud to say I haven’t shopped at Walmart in about 8 mos. They accused me of coupon fraud when using a clipped (not printed at home) coupon. Walmart is a terrible company. Has anyone watched the Michael Moore documentary on Capitalism? Walmart is one the companies that purchases the “dead peasant” insurance on their employees! Not a company that I want to support!!!!

Thanks for the chance to give walmart some feedback. I HATE using coupons at walmart! I have the same problems that others mentioned, inconsistent cashiers (some accepting IP coupons, some not and mostly just rude cashiers who are afraid for their jobs and think that you are doing something dishonest by using coupons to get free or almost free items!!).

But the WORST thing that I was told by a cashier is that she was told (by her manager) that they could not accept MORE THAN ONE COUPON with the SAME BARCODE because that meant that they were fake and had been copied!!!!! Luckily, I had my HUGE coupon binder with me, so I pulled several coupons for the same thing (from the sunday paper) to show her that no matter if they are clipped from the paper, or printed from the intenet, a .50/1 crest toothpaste coupon ALL HAVE THE SAME BARCODES no matter if you have 1 or 100. So that is ridiculous to tell your cashiers;f in fact the manager did that.

I marched myself over to customer service after I checked out and asked to speak to the manager, but he was not there. I spoke to another assistant manager and she looked at me like I was nuts while I explained all this to her. If Walmart is going to accept coupons, they need to put some sort of policy in place that is taught to all of their managers and cashiers (just as Walgreens does!)

Whew! Sorry for the long venting session! 🙂

I filled out the survey immediately. It was easy. Nice to get a say. I usually don’t complain. It happens on a consistent basis now (the last four times at Walmart). I just use another store for the coupons now.

I just hope if you fill out a survey, you are spell checking! Some of these comments are funny and they are not typing mistakes!
