This deal sounds really great ! Does the 24 dollars include the shipping the cards to you, and do you have to request which resturants you want to use for each gift card that comes in the package, for the 12 month deal? Do you have to use one card each month or can you use them whenever you want? I have a lot of questions, I would love to order this to have gift cards ready to go each time I would want to go out to eat !

there was only one restaurant in my area that participates and they had a “minimum $50 purchase” when you use a restaurant.com gift card… pretty shady if you ask me

On the 12 month dinner package, do you get to choose the restaurants and do you have to use one each month? Id like to order but wanna know those things first!

They allow you to pick one from a list of participating restaurants (one a month). And it looks like the list changes a little from month to month. You don’t have to use it that same month. I read somewhere that they last a year, but the ones I just got don’t have an expiration date on them at all. There are a few things to know before you buy, though. If you use a $25 gift certificate your total will have to be between $35 and $50 depending on the restaurant. If you use a $50 cert your minimum purchase will be $100. Some of the places require you to show the cert before you order. (I have no idea why, but it doesn’t seem right)

Collin — thank you so much for this post! I’ve never used Restaurants.com before, because — until recently — they didn’t have many participants in our area. However, today my husband had a day off, which is very unusual for him, and when I saw your post I thought it would be nice if we could have lunch at a nice restaurant. It worked beautifully . . . got the $25 certificate for $2, at at a very nice restaurant that we would never have tried without the discount, and we were able to splurge & treat ourselves to appetizers with our meals, because of the discount. Definitely using this program again — what a treat!

I bought the dinner of the month club back in June for $24. I love it! I use it for restaurants when we go out of town or on vacations. Or when we will be spending a date night together.
You get one $25 cert. a month, but that’s plenty for us since we don’t eat out much.
