I love TOH. It is one of my 5 subscriptions. The recipes are easy and inexpensive, plus some fun contests.

  4. Tara

I love this recipe book. my kids look through it during the holidays (all of them) and then we make what they agree upon. Definately worth the $3.99 price, or the $10 for that matter. Enjoy!!

    • Jesi

I used to get this magazine and LOVED it. I didn’t have a subscription for a few years and recently re-subscribed and was disappointed by the new layout. I feel like the whole magazine is more of an advertisement than anything. I was disappointed. I think that the good recipes are still there, but it isn’t as good as it used to be. I think that they could have added ads without making the whole magazine feel like an ad. 🙁

    • Joelle

I have noticed that most magazines have so many ads that it is hard to find their articles. I wish the ads all had coupons!

    • Janice

I have to agree. I don’t care for the new layout at all. It isn’t nearly what it used to be 🙁

      • Tomoko

I agree too. I think Taste of home used to have more recepis. Looks more stylish and all but I miss the old Tast of home.:( However, $3.99 is a steal.

Does anyone know if you can get this now and start it in December as a gift?

    • cjbailey

Yeah, I was wondering the same… I think I would like to do it as X-mas gift too, but how do you do it for December time frame? Thanks

PLEASE BE AWARE… this is NOT a TOH magazine subscription for the regular TOH…it is the HOLIDAY edition.

    • Renee

I get email alerts from Tanga and even though it says 1 year, it’s 6 issues because as footballchic73 stated, they are special holiday edition issues, not the normal magazine.,

      • Susan

Taste of Home is a bimonthly magazine anyways. One year is 6 issues for all their subscriptions.

    • Karin

I have noticed that too. And still thinking if it worths to try. Anyone know how it looks like?

  12. Emily

Karin, this magazine is made in a short booklet style. All the recipes are tear-out cards. (I would compare the size to the classic Reader’s Digest mags).

    • Karin

Thank you for the detailed info, Emily!! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got a sample issue last year and actually liked it better than the “revised” TOH magazine. When Readers Digest bought out Reiman the changes they made to the magazine took all the heart out of it in my opinion. The old version of the magazine was much better, in my opinion. I just buy the annual cookbooks now. Only 10 dollars thru the card they send out and much easier to store.

      • Karin

Thanks for the suggestion, Jen! I think I’ll pass this offer b/c I already subscribe alot of cooking magazines. I’ll buy the annual version later instead. 😉

  13. VickiB

I love this magazine! Thanks Collin!!

  14. Leah O.

Its 5.99 now, but I still ordered it.

The last two Tanga magazine deals like this one that I subscribed to ended up costing $2.00 more that listed on Hip2Save. Why is that?
