Jennifer’s Experience:

We used our gift certificate this evening and had a really great time, with the exception of my really really tired 17 month old who was with us. I am VERY glad that I chose a family friendly restaurant and that we went early, so we were the first customers of the evening. The restaurant.com website has a place to see if the place has high chairs and what the “atmosphere” is. I liked that. I gave our server the certificate right away and told her that I had never used one before. My husband was so embarrassed, all coupons make him nervous! He hates my coupon box. She told me that it I was no problem and if our total didn’t reach 35 dollars, we could order something to go! I was very excited about that! The gift certificate was for $25 and the bill total had to be at least $35. We wound up paying $22 including the tip. They added on 18% automatically, but I probably would have tipped more because the server let our little girl walk around the restaurant and roll on the floor…she doesn’t get to go out to eat with us again for a while!! It was mortifying. They were really nice to us, the food was great, and leftover Chinese is delicious!
