has anyone ever tried those sandwich melts before?
YES– and they are VERY yummy and quick to cook!!
Hi Collin and thanx again for keeping us updated!
Yet I got some ideas how to score some of those for free:
starkist: if u have Kroger/Scotts in yr area and if they dbl/trp cpns: on sale 10/10 = free
farm house sauce: target has those (small bottles) for $2 = free
snuggle: print the MC from target $1 off instead of 0.75
PS: how do you manage to get Old El Paso seasoning for free? It says do not dbl ๐ and my WM has them for 0.86 ๐
oops just noticed my post is anonymous ๐ not anymore ๐ I am one of yr fans ๐
it says do not double, but it starts with a 5— if your cashier is nice and just scans it, it does double.
We got the $.75/1 Farm Rich coupon, no fair!
coupon.com still has it $2 off (print limit 1 though) try diff zip
I just bought some off ebay that were $2/1. This will make cheap snacks for the football games and holiday parties.
The WM ad in my area has the Hidden Valley dressings priced at $1.98, so free after coupon! ๐ I’m in south FL….
I found Pepperidge Farm Goldfish (all varieties) on rollback for $1.00. In many magazines I’ve gotten this month, have a little coupon booklet inside with .75/1 Pepperidge Farm GoldFish Grahams. That makes them .25 each!!
Also, I found the Mead/Five Star folders on clearance for .40! I still had a few $1/2 coupons (hurry though, those q’s expire tomorrow 9/30), I bought 10 folders and used 4 q’s which made them free. But you could get .20 overage if you only need a few. The q does beep, but I had a great cashier who complemented me on my savvy shopping!
I also bought 2 little Boudreaux’s Butt Paste $2.44, came to .44 each after $2/1 coupon (no size restriction. This q was from a while ago, not the recent insert)
good finds. where is the Boudreauxโs Butt Paste $2.44 located in the store?
Has anyone else had any issues with Walmart adjust the amount of the coupon down? I had this issue at my Walmart for the Rayovac batteries.
I never had issues until yesterday when I tried to use the Kraft $5/5 coupon. Their computer kept adjusting it down to the price of one of my cream cheeses. ๐ The manager knew how to correct it, but I was surprised that the computers were adjusting the coupon down. Hmmm.
It’s funny everyone complains about Walmart and their cashiers regarding coupons because I’ve never had 1 problem with coupons there. Every cashier has always taken all of my coupons- no questions asked. They don’t even adjust the value of the coupons, leaving me some cents as overages.
Have you ever tried it on the $1off Tide q’s? This one beeped and she wasnt going to take it, I told her she just had to adjust it down then. And then she was like, oh yeah I forgot. Daaagh. lol
YES!!! I did today! I was SO annoyed! I had 2 of the gain dish detergents and a few other things that the coupon values were higher than the item, and the cashier, scans my gain q, and looks at the price of the DD, and looks at me, and says “m’am you can’t use this coupon the coupon is for WAY more then the item” I was like “Can’t you adjust it down, it’s 3 cents!” her “no I’m sorry you have to get a larger one” I said “The coupon says ‘any’ so I can use it” She would NOT budge, so I said “okay, well than I dont want any of these items”, and left with my coupons, and no items. I am SO fed up with W-mart. Either the cashiers are SO uneducated in couponing, or W-mart still hasn’t improved their coupon practices! It annoyed me SO much that she said “The coupon is for WAY more than the item costs” It was THREE CENTS, that is not waaay more! I will have to write walmart a complaint about this, it’s the 2nd time something like this has happened.
i get ticked off with walmart, too. it’s definitely a combination of uneducated/lazy csm’s and cashiers…. although i work in the pharmacy, i work at walmart and everyone is required to complete cashiers training- they tell you a little about q’s in the training, but certainly enough to know how to adjust the price of the q down!!!
don’t let it keep you from your deals, though- there are 2 solutions to the ignorance: 1. grab all your stuff up and say, “Nevermind.” then go to another registeror 2. grab all of your stuff up and stand beside the register while you call 1800walmart if it’s in business hours—- they’ll resolve the issue quickly! You can even tell them where you’re at in the store and what you’re wearing while they call the store mgmt. on the other line and tell them to find you and physically make it right.
I have been experiencing the same thing. I had Q’s for planters, tide and olay and the cashier wasn’t go to accept my coupons. Called over the manager and they reduced the the price off to the exact amount of item. So…..doese that mean that Walmart is getting our overage?????? Don’t they get reimbursed from the manufacturer the coupon amount??? MMMMMM……..sounds like Walmart is making money off us couponers!!!!!
I’m extremely leary about doing savvy shopping at Walmart, the cashiers here aren’t very helpful and they don’t like any coupons with logos on them even if they are a mfr q. I printed mfr q’s on target.com and walmart wouldn’t take them… grrr
Heads up on the Farm Rich Rebate to try the sandwich melts for free….must be postmarked by 9/30/10 in order to receive the rebate. ๐
Yes, I was just coming here to say that, and that is TODAY. I’m so glad I looked at the offer before my purchase, and yes, I left the tag hanging on the bag.
Weird night. Found Tide in the Travel size at .97 q beeped, she marked it down to .97. No problem but later in the order, when she swiped the $3/3 FA kits, they took w/ no beeps! The kits were all .97 too. So overage there but the Tide(s) beeped. Weird.
This one didn’t have the Olay travel size deal. Uugh. That overage woulda been nice on this B&tB dvd deal. Oh well. lol!!! Good night over all. Woohooo.
