  • Lori says:

Will they let you stack two Walgreens Q’s for the starbucks? It says one in ad and one from the monthly Q-pon booklet along with the MQ but that makes two Walgreen Q’s. I didn’t think they would allow that.

  • Kristina says:

Anyone else having a hard time with the wheat thins q? (cant find it….)

  • Elizabeth M. says:

What is the limit on RR for the EOS?

    • mjdeenik says:

Thats up to the Store Manager and how many are on the shelf, buy one at each register if you have to!

    • momwhocares says:

Most of my walgreens in my area are limiting RR deals – to one per like offer per customer per day. So, I can only get one EOS a day – I can get other RR deals at the same time, but only one per offer – If that makes sense. It stinks, but I found out it is because of a few people wiping out the shelves on Sunday morning and customers fighting with the managers when they are told they can’t buy all their stock up like that. So, now there is a limit.

At first it was only at one walgreens and then those crazy people went to the other ones forcing them to put up a limit too.

So, it is based on the managers discretion and if there is a limit issue – you can thank those out of control rude couponers. See I was told by the cashiers at my walgreens, the limits weren’t put just because of the shelves getting wiped out – it was mostly because of the insane attiudes that they were getting by asking them to put a few things back.

So, now they just do not care about helping couponers get good deals, if that is how they are treated. They feel they want to see more people get good deals, then one crazy person getting them all Sunday morning. But, hey – I still love the deals!

      • Barbie says:

I would only ever get one per store per day anyway. There are three Wag’s I can get to quickly and would spend Sunday morning getting one free item per store. Some stores don’t carry more than a couple of each RR item anyway. I have seen them have about 3 on Sunday, stock another 2 or 3 on Tuesday and that is it for the whole sale week. That’s crummy to customers, no matter how many “rude” people they think they have coming in. If they are only stocking half a dozen or less per week, then there are still going to be A LOT of disappointed customers.

Besides, on the rare occasions when I did get more than one, I just sent my daughter in on the same day to get another. I always pay in cash and it’s not like they can actually keep track of how many a person is getting per day. If they want to be picky about it, they can go to the card system like CVS.

For something like lip balm, I am not going to break my back and will be happy with the one item. For each EOS, it will be $2.99 OOP and forced Wag’s spending through RR’s of same amount.

      • Sandra Smith says:

Ask the manager if he can order a set amount extra for you. Some managers will pre-order for you if there’s a good deal coming up. That way you’re not wiping out their shelves if you want a lot, and they’re making the sale. Doesn’t hurt to ask. :)

  • Val says:

Is this for any flavor of EOS lipbalm?

  • Nicole Dz. says:

If your Walgreens is open 24 hours do the deals begin at 12:00 am on Sunday??

  • Paulette says:

This is off subject but can some please help with a coupon question?? If I have a coupon that is for a free item with the purchase of a different item can I use a coupon on the item I am purchasing and still get the free item????

    • momwhocares says:

If an item is on sale at a store for BOGO and you have a coupon for BOGO – you can use the BOGO Coupon to pay for the item you have to pay for at the store and still get the free item. So, you are getting both items free by using the bogo coupon to pay for you.

Also, if you have a bogo sale and a coupon for a dollar amount off, you can use that to help pay for the item you have to pay for and still get the other item free and you can use a FREE coupon to pay for the item you have to pay for and still get the other item free. HTH

  • Jodi says:

You should be able to. You can use one manufacturer (plus a store coupon, if applicable) for each item you purchase.

  • Rose says:

According to the ad I scan for EOS lip balm, it says Summer Fruit or Honeysuckle Honeydew, so IDK if all the varieties will trigger the RR.

  • tiffany says:

It just accured to me that if Wags sells out of these just bring the ad to your local Target or WM to price match. Should make for lots of free lip balm.

    • Paulette says:

How does that work cause isn’t it a RR that makes them free??

    • momwhocares says:

Walmart or target as far as I know does not price match:
%off ads, BOGO or BOG1 etc ads, Anything that is FREE ads, etc….. so they will most likely refuse the ad. It is part of their *restrictions apply terms on the price matching and coupon accepting they do.

Also, the only coupons they will accept that are BOGO or BOG1 or free etc… are manufacturer coupons – they usually wont accept store coupons that offer that either.

Those are terms that are as far as I am aware – it would have been nice, but the thing is Walgreens is not offering the EOS free, they are offering to give you a coupon from the EOS manufacturer for a dollar amount with your purchase.

  • Carol K says:

I think I would prefer it if the EOS were sold out. I could get a Rain Check. At Wags, if the advertised item will be free after RR (as in the EOS deal), they will give you a RC for the item stating the item will be free (unlike at CVS with a RC where you pay the sale price, then they manually print the ECB for the RC.) If it is sold out at Wags you do not have to pay up front. You get the RC with the name of the free item.
This way it is just the free EOS!
Also, just tried the tangerine. Love it! EOS it the only lip balm I can get my 3 year old to use without him pushing all the product out of the tube and have it fall on the floor. For some reason he doesn’t even try to eat it. Gotta love that!

    • Shelly T. says:

It must be up to the store manager, because at my local WAGS they do have that option. If they are out of an item they will give you a rain-check, but you will not get the RR when the item finally comes in, and there is no way they would offer it for free. You are very lucky that your WAGS does that for you. :-)

  • joyce says:

Does anyone know if the RR for the EOS is rolling? It doesn’t say a manufacturer name on the bottom like they usually do.

  • BeckyW says:

can someone tell me what EOS lip balm is? and where do I find it? I looked at my local Walgreens, but didn’t see it (but I didn’t exactly know what I was looking for)
    thanks!!

    • eeyoreangel says:

its located in the cough cold section with all the lip products usually next to the cough drops. Some stores have strips around the cosmetics department with them hanging on it. Its only the summer fruit or honey dew.

  • Kristen Anne says:

Today I got 2 free Nivea with the $2/2 and an EOS with a RR, 50% Rimmel Mascara (and used a $1/1 MC), the Ponds Towelettes (3.99 with a $1.25/1 MC), and a Dove body wash (24oz. on sale for $6 dollars, and used a $1/1 MC) which I thought would print a $5 RR…I swear I read that somewhere but I only got the $3 RR from the EOS. I am pretty new at this so I was wondering if it was something with my transaction….I read through the info on Walgreens on here and it said “However, you can purchase different Register Reward qualifying items in the same transaction and you will receive one RR for each DIFFERENT qualifying Register Reward item purchased.”

Does anyone know what I did wrong? I randomly got a coupon for $10 off $30 or more at Fashion Bug- which I will not use and a Tylenol Cold coupon for $2.50 off which I will not use either.

Either way I am happy that I only spent $9.00 (really only $6 with the RR) on all the things, I just thought I would get the other RR and I would not have bought the body wash if I knew I wouldn’t get it.

Thanks for all your help with the couponing, I am really enjoying it! :)
My fortune cookie today was “The secret of vast riches begins with a single penny.” Definitely reminded me of saving with coupons!

One thing you could check is the flyer to be sure the dove was in it for a rr. I only went into wags to get the nivea and didn’t really look at the ads this week, so I don’t know if the dove was in there or not. It can be really confusing, and after almost a year I still make mistakes. One thing I’ve learned is to really read the flyer, and double check the sizes required. That seems to be where most of the mistakes lie. Wags is tougher because you don’t know until the rr dosen’t print out. Usually the cashiers don’t know either. If you find out it really should’ve printed you can call the catalina co and complain and they will send you a rr after you scan a copy of your reciept in. It can be a hassle for a small amount. I really dislike Wags and have gotten out of the habit of going in there. This weeks nivea deal was great, but the rr system is not my favorite. I really have been enjoying Rite Aid if you can find a decent store where they don’t hate couponers. Good luck. HLH.
