Not as great a week here as in wags!
Oh, at my local CVS the nivea was clearanced to 87 cents!
and i already have the SS and RP from next week because of this local nwespaper in my neighborhood that has them for free!
Does anybody have any viologie coupons, cause it was a dollar at my store.

  2. STACY

i know this was last weeks deal but I just got 9 boxes of tampons / Iron Man/ used 9 tampax coupons got 15.00 for buying 25 worth of products of P&G / 5 OFF OF 30 coupon (came out of the magic machine) 2.50 in extra care bux.. saved 63.00!

for all of that 6.64!! COUPON HIGH WOOT WOOT

  3. Mitch

Have I mentioned if you give your CVS extra care card at the end, when they manually take off the pirce of the BOGO item, they take the original price, not the sale rice. For example, Sobe is $1.89. On sale for $.99. I had 4 free coupons. They took off 1.89 4 times, not the sale price. Thats what Sobe will give them back. It was an accident that I found this out! I t happened with the free cookies if you buy a Nabisco cookies and milk coupon as well. Of course if there is overage you don’t get cash back!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wow, never knew you could do that. They always ask for the card at the beginning of the transaction. I wonder if I would get the stink eye for doing that? My CVS is really nice, but I don’t want to get on their bad side!

    • DP

My CVS always asks for it first and waits for it. Maybe that is why.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Except that the Sobe coupon had a max value of 1.69..

    • Krystal

Not to be rude or anything, but you should have your card out ready to go in the beginning. It’s not like you don’t know they’re going to ask for it and you need it for the sales and coupons.

    • Crunchy Deal

When I had all the Sobe BOGO coupons, a manager specifically told me to give them the CVS card at the end because she said it took too much time otherwise . . . I didn’t really know what she was talking about but I just said “Ok, next time I will” . . . . so if a manager is actually saying to do that, then it can’t be wrong, right?!?! 😉

      • Krystal

There is absolutely no time difference in whether you take a CVS card in the beginning or end, the only reason to take it at the end is because it’s taking the customer too long to find the bright red thing.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Krystal, maybe you should read the whole entry before you answer.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I dont think kristal was being rude..CVS wants the card at the beginning all the time when i shop there. So stop being mean to people. We all have the right to post our own opinions. So keep it positive!!!! It makes my day better =D

  4. Sandra

    Complete coupon is for Canada.

    • Collin

Yep.. you’re right. Just removed it.

  5. Kelsey

Re-nu coupon is out of prints 🙁

  6. Brianna

I believe the Revlon coupon is regional?

    • Collin

Yes, Revlon coupons are regional… so not all areas receive them.

      • Lucy

The buy $15 get $7 off coupon that the CVS scanner was printing makes this a really awesome deal if you buy 4 nail polish. Can’t wait to do it tomorrow!! I see lots of painted nails for my girlies and I. 🙂

    • Kristina C

Interesting factoid… my mom works at a convenience store on Sundays and has a few regulars who buy the paper and give the coupon inserts to her. And she passes them to me. Well, the week of 9/12 I got four of each insert (4 of each SS, 4 RP= 12 total) one of the two SS inserts for that week was different than the other 2. Two had the $1c and two had the bogo free nail enamel. Neither had both. Isnt that strange?

      • Alexandria

There were two different SS inserts the week of 9/12. Each paper should have had two SS and two RP. Maybe you got two of each type of SS?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I live in Northern California and I have noticed that there are more coupons in the $3.00 newspaper versus the $1.00 newspaper. You might want to compare the coupons from the different papers offered in your area.

  7. s_montank

So, if you click on the Adult Robistussin DM to go coupon and print the $2/1 coupon instead of the $1/1 you can have a $1 money maker 🙂

    • Krystal

I haven’t printed it, so I don’t know what the fine print says, but even if it does allow it on the product that’s on sale. The register more than likely will not allow you to do it.

      • Nona

It will price adjust it down.

  8. Jessica

I have a $4 off $20 at CVS. Can I use that for the 25$ p&g deal or no? Since then my total is less than $25? I was not sure since ECB and the coupon are both a CVS thing…….

    • Heidi Leigh

      Yes, I believe you can.

    • rose

yes you can! I plan on getting
      2 puffs and 1 each Charmin & Bounty = $25
      use $5/25 email cpn, $1 off Bounty, $1 off Charmin q’s and a $9.99 ecb .
      I’ll pay 8.01 + tax and get a $10 ecb in return!

(The Bounty cpn I got in the mail a while back and the Charmin cpn came from a booklet I got inside Pampers diapers!)

  9. Ehrin

At my local CVS yesterday, on the magic coupon machine, there were tear-off coupons for the “extra care beauty club.” The coupon states, “Use this one time beauty shopping pass for 10% off through 11/30/10.” FIne print says that savings is applied to total qualifying purchases after other coupons and discounts applied. Qualifying Beauty purchases include items from the following categories: Cosmetics, Ethnic Hair Care, Fragrances, Hair Accessories, Hair Appliances, Hair Care, Hair Color, Healthy Skin Care, Hosiery, Skin Care, and Sun Care. Excludes Beauty 360, gift cards, prescriptions, and sale items. It might be worth looking for…

  10. Sally

In April 26, Collin posted a free sample for re-nu sensitive Multi-purpose solution, I got the sample and there was a $4 coupon inside the sample box for re-nu sensitive 12 oz. only, expired 6/30/2011
    Bausch & Lomb Re-Nu Sensitive 12 oz. $7.99 = $7.99 Ecb
    -$4 coupon
    =Free+$4 moneymaker

    • Brittany

I know, isn’t that so cool! I already used mine last time they had the Renu on sale for $7.99=7.99ECB!! My mom got the sample also because she knew I wore contacts and could use it, so I got two bottles for FREE plus made 8 bucks! I sure wish I had some more $4 coupons so I could get this deal again! I will probably get it just because it is free though even without the coupons because we use so much of it (hubby and I both wear contact lenses.) I am just loving Renu, those samples were a nice size to just be samples plus the great coupon!!!

    • Nancy

I’m not sure how I got it, but in today’s mail I got a letter from ReNu with a $2 coupon.

      • Erin

I just went upstairs and opened all the trial size renu i had and found coupons in all four. Three of them were $1 but one was $2.50 (thanks for the suggestion)

  11. Freebies Link

    Awesome. Time to save money.

  12. debra

was the bogo snickers coupon regional? i;m in western nc and didn’t get it. i love snickers so i;m bumbed we didn;t get it,

    • Melissa

I’m in WNC and we got it. ???

  13. Pam

my Snickers coupon is Buy ONE get one free—in the Chicago Suburbs

    • BaconButt

Mine are B1G1 too… I can hardly wait to get to CVS tomorrow candy and nail polish for sure! My CVS is open 24/7; I wonder how early I can go there for these deals? I feel like the Geico pig…weeeee we we we

      • Krystal

If they haven’t already activated the sales, I believe they’ll be activated by 6am. Call ahead first. I love that Geico commercial, too cute.

      • Heidi Leigh

I normally go around midnight because that is Sunday so the sales should ring up =). I was up late last night so I was there at 2 a.m.

      • cara

ok, I love that geico commercial too! And so does my 2 yr old son. Wee wee wee! he yells!

      • Piglet

I LOVE your name BaconButt!!! That is tooooo cute, weeeee, weee, weeeeeee, all the way home!!!!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

excited to do this tomorrow with coupon I got today from the magic coupon machine!
    Revlon Nail products $3.99 = $3 Ecb (Limit 6)
    buy $15 get $7 off (buy 4 nail polishes)= $15.96-$7= pay $8.96, get back $12ecb= $3.04MM

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just need some opinions…is the charmin a good deal or not? I have $1 off q’s so I would end up getting 2 big packs and 6 boxes of puffs for $13 after ecb. I usually do this deal when they have it, but Colin didn’t highlight it in red so I was just curious if it really was a good deal…comments are appreciated!

    • Anna @ Frugal For You

I think it is the best deal on Charmin you can get. I personally do this deal all the time, beats Wal-Mart prices anyday. Plus, if you get lots of the money maker deals, you can apply the ECB overage to the Charmin purchase.

  16. msrossdaboss

Heads up ladies, Extra care rewards are printing out. YAY!!!!

    • Renee Leach

I got one for $1 tonight. I was excited.

  17. sneha

pg deal is ok but not too cheap, only the puffs r cheap abit .

  18. MELISSA

To do the Snickers deal with only 2 BOGO coupons plus the store deal, would I buy 4? Is that right? One free from the store deal and each coupon would knock off one, leaving me buying one myself? These BOGOs confuse me 😛

    • mbton2001

The bogo sale with the bogo coupon sales are VERY confusing! BUT, with this one, the sale is Buy Two get One free, so you want to do the deal in sets of Three to take full advantage of the sale.

      • mbton2001

With two coupons, you would get 6 candy bars for the price of two.

        • SRM

Is confusing…. but sets of 6 gives you 5 free, 2 from sale 3 from coupons

  19. Collay

Heads up…the Revlon $1 manufacturer’s coupons will beep!!!!! I had a HUGE issue with that tonight. You also cannot combine the free charm with the $7/$15 Revlon CVS coupon…it’s an “either or” type situation, so of course I choose the $7/$15. I’m so upset that the $1 coupons beep though. Love the MM nail polish, but be prepared for a battle to get it :(.

    • mary

Revlon coupons usually always beep when you try to buy nail polish with them. I think that they are coded for other cosmetics. Some of the older Revlon coupons used to have a picture of nail polish on them & they still beeped. It was harder for the cashier to deny them with the picture on them though.

    • Jen

I did the $7/$15 coupon and the charm coupon a few days ago and it worked just fine. I think I handed over the charm coupon first, so that may have been why it wouldn’t work for you (if you did the $7 first?). If that’s what the cashier told you, then they were wrong. I used the charm q, the $7 q, and three of the $1 qs from the booklet on the display, and had no problems at all. What I’m wondering now is if anyone has gotten two of the $7 q, or are they one per card?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I used the Beauty Charm with the 7 off 15 Revlon last week and it scanned fine. They also scanned the charm coupon last and the charm hadn’t even been scanned yet and it worked fine. So the cashier is making up his/her own rules, did they even try to scan the coupon? I would call corporate if I were you, see what they say.

Can somebody explain what the big deal is about the “charm”? What are you supposed to do with it?

    • Krystal

It’s free with a coupon that prints out.

    • Brianna

I think she meant what to do with the charm you get for free. I’m wondering the same thing! What’s the big deal with a silly charm???

      • CJ

You can also print yours from the CVS website. Mine was for $1.50 this quarter.

        • CJ

Sorry, this comment went onto the wrong post. I was commenting about the quarterly Extra Care Rewards.
My CVS ran out of the charms and is giving $2.69 off any $15 beauty purchase instead.

      • Jen

Mine is going in my daughter’s Christmas stocking. My store had four different designs and a couple different colors of some of them to choose from. It’s not something I would have kept for myself, but teen girls and younger might like them.

  21. Lizzie

Does the $7 come off instantly for the Revlon deal? I ask because I have a $4 off on a $20 purchase so let’s say I buy 4 Revlon Nail products and $4.04 worth of other things at CVS, will my $4 coupon qualify?

    • Anna @ Frugal For You

The $7 Revlon should attach only to the Revlon. I suggest, handing them the $4 off $20 first. It should work out fine!

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am still confused about the snickers deal. OK, so say I have 3 q’s. I buy 6, use my bogo’s which leaves me paying for 3 right? Then cvs will give me 2 for free (2 sets of 3) leaving 1 to pay for as Collin’s scenario stated. So if I buy 10, use 5 q’s leaves 5 plus cvs gives me 3 (3 sets of 3) leaving 2 right? So is 6 for the price of 1 better than 10 for the price of 2?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Also does anyone know the price of the snickers?

    • Mouni

Use 1 coupon for every 3 candy bars and you’ll end up getting 2 for free. One with the CVS deal and one with the manufacture’s coupon. I didn’t see a limit so If you have 2 coupons you can get 4 for free and so on. All you have to do is use 1 coupon for every 3 candy bars and you’ll get this deal. 🙂

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m going to try this deal at CVS:
    Revlon Nail Polish (limit 6!) $3.99 x 4 = $15.96
    – $7 off of any $15 Revlon purchase CVS Coupon (CVS Coupon Machine)
    – $1C (9/12 SS) x 4
    Pay $4.96, Receive $12 ECB’s
    = FREE + $6.96

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

heads up today only 5$ coupon for decor costumes halloween stuff printing at machine so free 5$ worth of halloween decor I found a candle for 4.99$ it worked 😀

    • greenbug728

Thanks for posting this! I read this right before I walked out the door and then when the Magic machine gave me the coupon, I tried it on a bag of little halloween toys and it worked!!! Those are perfect for treat bags for the kiddos parties at daycare! 🙂 They were free after the coupon!

    • Nicki

      I found a cute tablecloth for 4.99!

      • Jen

I got a bag of 50 tea light candles ($4.99) for free! The cashier tried to tell me I didn’t have anything for the coupon (BEFORE she scanned it, of course), and I pointed out to her that yes, I got the candles in the Halloween stuff. She was surprised when the computer took it with no problems. She actually said, “Oh, I guess you did!”

    • Nancy

I just got this $5 coupon from the machine at 5 pm today (Monday). I bought two candleholders for $1.99 each and a Halloween-themed box (similar to a Chinese food takeout box) for $0.99. Yeah. We do something in our neighborhood where we “ghost” a family, leaving a package of Halloween goodies on their doorstep, ringing the bell and running away. This will be great for “ghosting”, adding some tea lights and filling the box with candy, plus a few other odds and ends I’ve picked up here and there. Thank you CVS!

  25. Kim Johnson

there is a $2.50 off coupon on the TENA website (pdf) that would make the tena deal even better if it is for the correct product.

  26. Christi

Just got back from CVS and the Snickers were marked B2GO but rang up .50 each. I did buy 6 and used three q’s and only paid .58 for everything (I also bought the razo , 4 nail polishes, & bengay). I’m not sure if its regional or not but was a good deal to me 🙂

  27. Bobby

Heads up, Campbell’s tomato soup and chicken noodle soup are on sale this week for $.50 each. I used the $1.50 off three condensed soups coupon from Campbell’s website and got three for free! If you hit the back button and print the coupon twice you can get six for free. Not bad!

I also got a coupon for $5 off a Halloween costume or Halloween accessories and some of the makeups and accessories in the seasonal sections are well below $5 so it’s a potential moneymaker.

    • Ashley

Which of the coupons were you able to use because it doesn’t look like any of them are good for Chicken Noodle or Tomato?

      • Krystal

Yeah, every coupon I see excludes chicken noodle and tomato.

      • Bobby

Woops! Sorry about that. I didn’t look closely enough at the fine print. The coupon did work though.

  28. Meridith

My CVS machine this morning printed out a 5 dollar off any halloween decor, costume, etc. I used it on two pairs of cute Halloween socks which were 2.50 each for 2 pairs free. Can’t beat that!

    • Linda

I was just going to post this too! I got that coupon and got a vinyl Halloween table cloth ($4.99) for free! There were plenty of things under $5!

    • Sandra

I got the same $5 off of Halloween costumes, accessories, and decor coupon today too! I got a string of candy corn lights for FREE!! Love it!

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got the $5 off Halloween accessories and got a $5 make up kit for free for the kids to use on Halloween! I also got 7 3 pack of Lorna Doone, Nutter Butter, and Ahoy Chocolate Chip cookies for 99 cent a piece and had 3 coupons for $1/2 Nabisco products! I got 21 small packs of cookies for $4! I am snack mom for soccer teams for my 4 kids this month so cookies came right when needed!

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My CVS didn’t have the Adult Robistussin DM To Go 2 doses for $0.99 and when I checked the ad it wasn’t even listed! That was the first time I’ve run into that at CVS, I was a little bummed because I was looking forward to getting those.

    • Jen

My store had them, but it’s hard to notice them on the shelf since the box is pretty narrow. Also, they weren’t marked as being on sale, but I scanned one and it came up at 99 cents.

  31. jennifer

Got the $5 halloween coupon and got a “deluxe carving kit” for $4.99

Also, keep your eyes peeled for a Renu Sensitive Buy One Get One Free package. they were stocked in the same slot as the single bottles. I was a little skepical that it would ring up correctly because it had a different bar code, but it rang up for the right price and printed EBs. So, it was two bottles packed together and I got both free! Awesome!

  32. JoR

I bought 1 Halle Eau de Parfum Spray 0.5 oz.+ free cosmetic bag (golden tone) = $14.99. I had a 4$ coupon, it printed 10ECB and I also received a free beauty charm (when buy 15$ beaty ithems). In the end 0.99 for everything.

  33. aimee

I just wanted to let you all know that my CVS had a tearpad coupon for $1 off any revlon product. I didn’t have the one from the 9/12 ss but I went anyways and I found the tearpad and I was still able to get this deal! I found it near a display of revlon makeup. I hope this helps!!

    • Anonymous

CHECK THE EXP DATE ON COUPON I BELIVE IT EXP. 9/15

  34. erb

I got a 7 off 15 revlon , and a 5 dollar off halloween coupon, so this was my purchase:
i bought 4 off the revlon nail pllishes: 15.96
and then since the halloween coupon allows overage, so i bought a small .99 cup
    then i got a shick razor 8.95
    total was 25.30
    then i used a 5 off 25
and then a 7 off 15 revlon, then a 5 off halloween coupon, then a 4 off shick razor
    I payed around 4.95
and i got back, wait for it, 18 DOLLARS IN EBSS!!!!!
i gained 13 dollars!, and could use that for the p&g

  35. CouponLuver

I did the CVS survey this morning and earned $10 in Ecb’s for completing it. It gives me the option to print it, I have to CVS cards, can I print 2 and use 1 on each card? Just asking LOL

  36. Sarah

So annoyed, I could not use my $5/$25 coupon and my $7/$15 Revlon purchase in the same transaction. I gave the cashier the $5 first and then the $7, I didn’t have any other Revlon coupons. I even went and grabbed another nail polish and he said he couldn’t even push it through. It threw my whole shopping plan off. I had to pay for the Revlon separately, and then wander the store to find other fillers to use my $5 coupon. I was so flustered that I forgot to use my $4 Schick coupon! ARGH!!! I still only paid about $8 OOP, but with both transactions my bag tag didn’t even get scanned ONCE!

    • Anonymous

call 1-800-SHOP-CVS. Customer service will give you credit for the green tag

      • Sharon

I just called 1 800 SHOP CVS and asked if they would give me credit for my green bag tag that I had with me yesterday when I made a purchase but the cashier didn’t scan it and the rep on the phone told me they cannot add any credits to my green bag tag. I asked if the manager at the store could add it if I took the receipt back with the tag and she said she didn’t know but doubted it. Basically she told me I’d just have to use the tag next time and there was nothing she could do to help.

    • Nancy

I’m glad I’m not the only one who gets flustered with all these high finance coupon transactions.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you take your receipt and your $4 coupon back to the store and explain that you forgot to use it they should give you $4 in cash. I’ve done this in the past (I always seem to forget at least one coupon especially when I have my kids with me) at CVS and a few other stores and they are usually pretty good about it, but as always I’d call to ask first!

  37. RanoMayo

I bought 1 Halle Eau de Parfum Spray for $16.99 but the $10 ecb I expected didn’t print. Does anyone know who I can contact to possibly get that. I used other ecbs to pay. If I try returning will I get a credit or only the cash I paid?
    Thanks for your help.

    • Sarah

I always check my receipt for ECB before I leave. I immediately tell the cashier, usually a manager is called to get them printed. I would call customer service though and see what they can do.

    • Jennifer

You can try to go back to CVS. This happened to me last week with another deal. I didn’t realize it until I got to my car. I went back in and showed my receipt and the cashier was able to print up my $2 of ECB.

  38. A

I have a question regarding the Revlon nail polish deal – does cvs do the same as Rite Aid and take a ecb from revlon on another purchase of revlon? Or do they do like Walgreens where the RR from P&G cant be used on a P&G purchase? Not sure if this makes sense but wondered if anyone could help??? Thanks!

    • Anonymous

YES WITH CVS YOU CAN USE THE $3 ECB YOU RECIVE TO BUY ANOTHER REVLON PRODUCT IN THIS CASE THE NAIL POLISH AND IT WILL GIVE YOU ANOTHER $3 ECB JUST REMEMBER THE LIMIT IS 6 HOPE THIS HELPS

  39. Leigh

Heads up-I went to CVS yesterday and got the Schick Hydro 5 razor free after RR and $4 coupon. I got mine off of a display and there were peelies on them to get a free can of shaving cream ($3.99) with the razor purchase. The peelies weren’t on the ones on the shelf.

  40. Jennifer

I have another question. If there is an ECB deal that says limit 6 and I buy 6. (ex: the revlon nail polish – $3.99 each with $3.00 ecb) does that mean I will get $18 ECB back?

    • Anonymous

      YES IT WILL

  41. kndquilts

    $ the magic coupon machine! $5 Halloween coupon! :o) 2 Halloween theme foam Softsoaps @ $6.58 – 2MQ for .35 + $5CVS coupon= 0.88 for both!
BUT- 2 weeks in a row I have not received the $3ECB on candy…
Last week it was the Reese’s Deal and this time it was on the Hershey’s Deal.
??? Anyone else not get the ECB? I followed the instructions posted, but none printed.
    Thanks! :o)

  42. cheryl

I went to CVS today and printed out the $5 off Halloween coupon and the cashier said “under no circumstances can this be used for candy.” BUMMER!!!!!
