WOW!! This is one awesome week for Rite Aid shopping!! There are lots of freebies and even money-makers as you’ll see below! 😀 If you have a Rite Aid nearby, I would highly recommend heading on over there this week.

If you are considering getting the flu shot this season, you may want to head over to Rite Aid. Rite Aid is offering the flu shot for $24.99 AND you’ll receive a coupon booklet with $128 in Rite Aid savings as a reward. Click here for more information.

Be sure to join the Rite Aid Wellness Program… all the details can be found here. For more information about the new Rite Aid +UP Reward program, click here. For the very latest Rite Aid coupon policy— which was just updated in August, please go here. I would encourage you to print a copy to take with you to the store.

Also, Rite Aid has now partnered with Upromise! This means that you are now able to add Upromise e-coupons to your Rite Aid Wellness+ card and redeem them at Rite Aid for even more savings! Click here for information.

Tried reasoning with the pharmacist that the fine print says “No purchase necessary” for the coupon booklet, but he wouldn’t budge. 🙁 Then at the register I was told they aren’t allowed to do two separate transactions anymore. Anyone else heard the same? Did score all the SCR items for free or better today, so still a great trip.

    • Virginia

I just did 2 separate transactions at my Rite Aid yesterday. One of our RiteAids let me use multiple 5/25 coupons when I had >$50 in products but the one I usually go to said that they prefer that I do separate transactions. I love my usual Rite Aid! They are wonderful!!!!

    • krista

My rite aid lets me do multiple transactions. I dont see how they could possibly have a rule against that. What would stop a person from taking the stuff to their car and coming back in for a second go around? It sounds to me like that might be the manager making things up. I actually called the coorporate office right from the store one time (the number is printed on the bottom of their add). The representative got on the phone with the manager and settled things for me! Good luck!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

One of my store limits 3 transactions. I am cool with that.

  2. Holly

At my Kroger over by the pharmacy there was a booklet that had coupons…there was a $0.75 off one lysol wipes…I am so glad I picked up a couple of booklets.

  3. Reagan Collum

There was a $1/1 coupon attached to the No Nonsense socks I won over the summer from Facebook.

    • San

I got that too and used it today 🙂

  4. Jess G

A few things to look out for at Rite Aid this week:

Slimfast Shakes 75% off!! Paired with that printable $1 off coupon, I only spent $1!
Dove shampoo and conditioner with peelies for $1.50 off.
Playtex 18 count boxes with a FREE Schick Intuition Razer inside (They do count for the 2/$8 deal!)

    Happy Hunting!

  5. liz

Guess my first post got lost in the shuffle. I can’t find the L’oreal lip liner coupon in the October VV. Can someone please HELP!!!

    • Watsondd

The VV coupon is just for loreal products, not specifically for lip liner. I used mine last week for the stain. Scored big with all of the candy so I used my Up rewards to sweeten!

  6. nikki

Had a great trip at Rite-Aid today!!!

2- Angel Soft toilet paper $0.99 (not on sale but we needed them lol)
2- Edge Shave Gel (had a bonus razor attached!) $2.99 ea
    B1G1 Free coupon
    $1.50/2 video coupon
    1- Advil 24 ct
Free with coupon received in the mail (I love using these as fillers to get to $25)
6- Gain dish soap $0.89 ea
6 $1 coupons from this weeks paper
    1- Garnier Frutis shampoo 2/$5
    $1 manufacture coupon
    $1 video coupon
    1- Dove Shampoo 2/$6
    $2 video coupon

My total came to $25.09 which was awesome because I just made it to use the $5 coupon!!! After all of my coupons my total was only $0.34….yes ladies only 34 CENTS!!!! and i didn’t even use any old UP rewards

    • Ronni

Where did you find the B1G1F coupon for edge? Thanks

      • tammy-ladysavings

I was reading thru the comments and thought i would answer this:) The B1G1 FREE Edge coupon was previously on coupons.com, but it’s no longer available…hopefully it will be back!

  7. Shawn

Anyone know if the Halls coupon was regional??? Didn’t see one on my paper here in OHIO.

    Thanks!!

    • Stacy

I’m in NW Ohio and we got it.

      • Carissa

In Washington state and recvd it too!

    • Julie

it was regional, I happened to be up by DC and picked up a couple papers there and found it, but when I got home to WV it was not in my local paper.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You can find this coupon in the All You Magazine that you buy at Walmart!!

  8. Mrs. B

does anyone know if you buy multiple gain dishwashing soap will you get more than 1 up reward?

    • Liz

Gain isn’t producing UP rewards. It’s just on sale for $.89 and you can use the $1.00/1 Q from today’s insert to get it for free. 🙂

    • Sara

Depends on where you are. We’re getting 0.89 UPRs with ours in my area in Utah. Don’t know about a limit, though.

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ran out to Rite Aid tonight to use my airwick coupon before it expired and when I got to the store the imotions weren’t marked and I couldn’t find them in the ad ANYWHERE…what am I missing?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s on pg 10 of my ad.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

pg 10 in my ad is all alcohol. I am in SoCal, region 5,7,9 it says on my ad.

  10. crystal

The guy at my rite aid is awesome he will let me do any coupons as long as they scan, he said he gets more money!! He is awesome I wont go anywhere else. The shelves are usually dry at that location within the first day though so annoying sometimes!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Call that survey number and tell them that you love your store BUT… out of product. I did and within two weeks they had everything in stock, even the second week when they don’t get a delivery AND the district manager sent me a personal email about it. It was a nice surprise to find that they actually listened, instead of just gathering statistics for furture business models…

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Do we need to buy all the dove products in one transaction to get the $5 up rewards?

    • Latasha

I’m wondering the same thing. I got 4 shampoo and conditioners and one extra conditioner to get to $15. When I was done with the transaction I noticed that I didn’t get the $5 UPR. Looking at my receipt I saw that the extra conditioner I grabbed was not included in the sale. Just today I returned it to get two of the 2/$6 ones thinking that the $5 UPR would print and it didn’t.
I don’t know if I should get over it or call corporate requesting that they send me my reward

  12. Maggie

Re the Edy’s/Dreyer’s ice cream deal (it’s Dreyer’s on on the West Coast):

You can sweeten this deal by using the $1 off 2 Q in All You for either Edy’s or Dreyer’s (it was in the Sept or Oct issue — I’m not sure which it was). Buying two Dreyer’s generated 2 +UP Rewards for $1 each, so the end result was $1.49 each for the ice cream. That’s a great price in my area.

  13. Linda

If I use my 10% off coupon, will I get the full price back on the rebate, or the 10% off price I pay for each item?

    • Single Check Rebates

      Linda,

We would be happy to provide you with more information. Please let us know which offer you are referring to as there are many types of rebates and/or purchase requirements.

  14. lilroysmom2

i dont know if anyone will see this but can anyone tell me for the userin/aquaphor deal can we also use the $2 off baby aquphor from septembers videos?

  15. Lyndsey

I finally earned my 10% shopping pass….It says in the fine print, “Receive sale price or 10% off all items whichever is lower.” So what exactly does this mean? Trying to do my math on what I plan to get so I know what my total will be…..

    • Lyndsey

Also, should I use the 10% off pass or the $5/25 first when checking out?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The 10% off coupon is only good on regularly priced items – so save it because it won’t take anything off if the item is on sale that week. Bummer huh. As far as using it before or after the $5/25 coupon I’m pretty sure it has to be used before, they scan it first before ringing up your products – at least that is what they made me do at my store. I used mine to buy a large can a baby formula – I had $21 in up+ rewards that were going to expire the next day and I couldn’t find anything I really needed except formula so it wourked out great and I used the $5/25 coupon to (I bought a few items on sale) and the 10% discount only came off my formula – not the sale items. Sorry if my explaination is long, but I hope it helps you. 🙂

        • Lyndsey

          Thanks!

          • Nikki

Actually, she has got it mostly right. It does come off sale items but it depends on the sale price and the original price. For example regular price 4.99, on sale for 4.49, if your discount is 10% then it would be the same but if your discount is 20% then it would come up as 3.99. Even though it is on sale, it gives you the better deal between the two. Another example regular price 19.99, on sale for 18.99. If you have 10% it will ring up as 17.99, if you have 20% it comes up as 15.99. I have the 20% discount and have had it for months. I have come across this rather regularly with my discount.

  16. claudia

I did the Lysol deal and didn’t get back $3 nor were the wipes BOGO free 🙁 I guess it must be regional. I went to the Harrisville, UT location.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi – I was there today too (Harrisville, Utah) – but I had them take off the Lysol wipes because they were not ringing up BOGO. Kinda sucks huh! I really need wipes!

  17. Latasha

Anyone else have any issues with the $1 off Tugaboo coupons that come in the travel pack diapers? Today one of the cashiers at the Rite Aid I regularly go to told me that I couldn’t use those coupons on the $ .99 packs. I questioned why (they usually adjust the coupon down for me since my discount makes them only $ .89) and all they said was “we got a memo.” Anyone else have this issue?

And is the $5 UP Reward when you spend $15 on Dove only on the items that are 2/$6? I bought 2 shampoos and 2 conditioners as well as an intensive repair conditioner. My total for all of those was $17.99 because the intensive repair was $5.99. But, no $5 UPR printed out. Do I need to get another of the 2/$6 items to make it work?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought 2 of Tugaboos two packs last week and used the coupons I got from 2 packages the week before. I had no problem using them. At this Rite Aid they always tell me they scan the coupons and if it does not beep they will take them. With my +up level I get 10% off any regular priced items so the Tugaboo packs ring up at 89cents and they scan the coupons which take off a dollar.

      • Latasha

I have 3 Rite Aids near me and two of the three have the trial sized diapers. I usually will go to the one, do my deal and then go to the other one, using the coupons from the diapers from the first store. I’ve never had any issues with either store until recently. Store one (the one I go to the majority of the time) started lowering the coupon price down to the $ .89 the diapers cost me with the rewards. Not a big deal as I factored this into my scenario. The second store that I don’t go to as often takes the full dollar off. Now I have 12 of the coupons and am afraid to go to that second store and try using all 12 in one transaction. I have been doing six each week (I can only get to this store once a week on Saturdays as its a 30 minute drive from where I live) and haven’t had issues at that second store before. The cashiers usually just comment on my awesome savings.
Thanks for the input though. I guess I’ll just have to try it and see. Maybe I’ll plan on getting the 12 diapers and the Playtex with another small filler item to get me up to $20 so I can use a $4/20 q ($10.68+ $8.00 + $1.99 palmer’s lip= $20.67 -$4/$20 q -$12 diaper qs -$2 vv -$2 Playtex q = .68+ tax will be around $2.38 or so, I don’t always come up with the exact same amount of tax as the computer. Then I’ll get the $1.99 SCR for the palmer’s and $2 UPR for the Playtex = free + $1.61 mm- if it all works anyway)

    • Samantha

I bug 4 of the Tugaboos each time I go to Rite Aid. Have 2 coupons from previous purchases and use those to buy 2, then open those packages and take the coupons out to buy 2 more. I am left with the 2 coupons from the 2nd transaction to use next time.

      • Latasha

I just didn’t know if anyone else had heard that “we can’t take them anymore because we ‘got a memo’ ‘ bull.

  18. Tina

Can someone help me to understand the L’Oreal Lip deal? I have searched and searched and there is no October Video Value coupon for the L’Oreal Lip products….. I read that someone was saying it is good for all L’Oreal products and all the VV coupons are specific to a particular product. HELP —

    • krista

Ive been searching, too and I cant find the coupon anywhere. All the ones I find are for hair care. The only thing I can figure is that it either isn’t available anymore or maybe they offer different coupons in different regions? Im in MD, where are you?

      • krista

I just looked at the coupon data base and it looks like there is one in that pharmacy coupon booklet. I really need to get one of those!

  19. Jennifer Kirk

Thanks so much for posting all these deals, Collin! It’s so helpful to have your favorites highlighted – I just skip over the non-highlighted type! I scored at Rite Aid today because of your post! Got over $60 worth of goodies for less than a dollar OOP. Did two transactions, got all the UP rewards that I used, replaced with new ones, AND have a few SCR’s coming back to me! So I came out around $6.00 ahead of the game! Thanks again!

  20. Tammy B

On the Playtex the ad states 1 per household on the $2 ups but I got 3 2$ ups when I bought 6 boxes today.
The $2/1 coupon is available on RedPlum using zip 12345 on the 2nd page.

  21. Dolly

Tina u r right. I myself didn’t find video value coupon for the loreal lip product.

  22. Kristi

Where can I find $5/25 coupon? I know the Video Values can give me a $4/20, but I was hoping to find the other one this time around.
    Thanks.

    • Sherryl Tracey

You should also have two opportunities to print out $5/$25 in the Video Values (one for the wellness program, and another on a different topic, but I can’t remember what it is right now), as well as a post (maybe 2 weeks ago) where Collin shared a link for a PDF $5/$25 … if you click on the Rite Aid link in the box in the right-hand column, you should be able to review all of the old posts about Rite Aid

      • Jaime

The $5/$25 have disappeared from the video library. I have been looking for posts from others or Collin but haven’t read anything about it yet. The only RiteAid coupons available are a $1 off a non-rx purchase and the $4/20 once you accumulate 20 points. I’m hoping this is just a glitch and not permanent.

  23. Jaime

At my RiteAid, the Garnier Shampo and Conditioner were 2/$5 but not he styler.Oh well. I did however purchase $74 worth of product, paid $7.49opp (cashed in Up rewards and had $5 on a GC) and will be getting over $36 in rebates. Yeah RiteAid, over a $30 mm for me this week.

  24. Jo Ann

For any of you Hip2Saver’s out there who planned on getting the Alka-Seltzer Plus deal(12ct on sale for $2.99 –minus coupons Collin suggested– = $0.99) my Rite-Aid said the ad in the sales paper was an error. Alka-Seltzer Plus IS pictured but the wording says it’s for the ORGINAL Alka-Seltzer (it’s pictured with other items that control indigestion). So the Plus was not on sale for $2.99 (they didn’t even sell a 12ct in the Plus). I was disappointed because my sister always takes these when she has a cold and I was going to get her some at a good deal. Too bad. 🙁

  25. Amber

I already used the PDF coupon last week that expires 10/31. Will it beep if I try to use it this week?

    • Jaime

It should work. I did 2 transactions and used one for each with no problem.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you should be able to use it over and over again. well….one per transaction of course. i had 5 transactions so far this week and used one for each time.

  26. Sheila

I had a great trip to RA today! Fully stocked on all the SCR items and even though my Lysol was NOT in my ad B1G1 and 2/$7 (region 4 ad) I asked them about it and they adjusted the price for me! With all the coupons I was fine if the $3 UP didn’t print…BUT IT DID!! WAHOO! 4 transactions later and I’m pretty sure I’m receiving more in a SCR then I spent all together. Thanks for all the match-ups Colin!!!

  27. Samantha

Tried to do the Dr. Scholl’s deal, but the Fast Flats rang up 9.99 so not enough to get the $10 +Up Reward. I had a WAY unhappy baby and didn’t linger, but does anyone know of a Dr. Scholl’s product that is about $3 that I could use as a sort of filler to get to the $25 mark?

    • Samantha Booker

Goofy me– I only had to have 20.00,anyway. Went today and got the Fast Flats for 9.99, Insoles with a free pedicure kit inside for 12.49 and the Sucrets for 2.99, used a 5/25, the $4 VV coupon and the $4 All You coupon and paid about 1.26 after taking into account the +Up reward and SCR!!!

  28. Joy

Woohoo. Thanks SO MUCH Collin for posting these deals. I actually came out of Rite Aid spending NOTHING. (due to a minor mis marking on their Cascade Action paks that didn’t ring up on sale but was priced on sale on the shelf – they adjusted and gave them to me and refunded the amount)… Yay. I’m so thrilled. I was able to use all my UPR’s with the same amount of cash I went in with. Super!!!

    • Jill

I was so bummed about the Cascade action packs–it wasn’t marked on the shelf, so i had them do a price check and it didn’t ring up on sale, and for the life of me I couldn’t find it in the ad.

  29. Jo Ann

Did anyone do the Air Wick deal? The coupon I printed from the link in Collin’s coupon match-ups was $4/1 Freshmatic ULTRA Starter Kit. But it says “excludes Ultra” in the description of the deal. ??? I didn’t see any other coupons on the link for $4 off of any of the other Air Wick items. help.

  30. Geraldine

Not sure if someone posted this already but the Udderly smooth 4oz is printing multiple $1 up rewards in same transaction. I just purchased 3 at $1 each and got 3 $1 up rewRds.

    • Anonymous

i absolutely LOVE the udderly smooth cream. i have bought about a dozen now and each time it printed mutiple UP+. i now have so many $1 up+ to spend on free stuffs after SCR next week to turn them into cash in my pocket.

  31. Bridget

Anyone have any trouble with the Lysol deal… They were not ringing up on sale at my store, nor could hte cashier and I find this in the flyer 🙁 bummer.
    Maybe it’s an on-line deal only…?

  32. trash2cash4u

What would happen if I returned some items if I used a $5/$25 for that transaction? I think I’ve done it before, but trying to decide if it’s worth another trip to the store. I purchased the NeilMed products earlier this week and forgot that I was still waiting on those $2 coupons to be e-mailed to me. I will take them back and re-buy if I can get the money back!

  33. lola

Do all Rite Aid deals carry roll over balance? Like the spend $10.00 on Dove and get the $3 ECB? I spent $11.00 at 1 store then $6.00 at the next but nothing… Anyone know

  34. josie

i know it’s the end of the sale, but i wanted to mention that the $2 +Up for One A Day vitamins isn’t nationwide. i live in northeastern ohio and we didn’t have that promo in our ad and i didn’t realized it until i got home and realized my +Up didn’t print.

on the up side, i got the vitamins, 2 fructis shampoos, 1 dove conditioner, 1 maybelline gleam eye trio and 2 playtex for $1.79 OOP and paid with my gift card i got from the oral care promo. i’m seriously loving rite aid these days.

  35. Melissa R.

Just a note to be sure that you get ALL the credit you should when you use multiple Up rewards. I used 9 at Rite Aid tonight and even though the cashier scanned each one (I watched to be sure), the receipt only showed credit for 7 of them. I knew my out-of-pocket amount seemed high and it took me a long time once I got home to think through the transaction, add up my amounts, subtract my coupons, etc…I finally noticed the missing Up rewards. I called the store, asked the manager to retrieve my long receipt of Up rewards from the register and tell me how many were on there. The manager confirmed my suspicions and after apologizing, she very generously offered to put the missing amounts on a gift card and have it in the office for me to pick up. (I think the problem is that their system runs slow sometimes and can’t keep up with the quick scanning.)

    • Jill

I’ve noticed the Up rewards take a little longer than regular coupons to register. My checkers always seem to wait until they go through though.

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i went to rite aid on wednesday trying to find 2 items the palmers cocoa butter and nose spray. one of them ran out and the palmers i thought they ran out but it was in front of the registers and i didn’t see them 🙁 so i went to another Rite AId to get it

  37. Kim

    Please help me answer this.
I just requested a check on October 17th so when can I submit another check request again? When is the next request check period? I know I can only do once per period.

“Your rebates were requested for the October 2010 period on 10/17/10 totaling $35.43.
Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your check.” Thanks.
