Doesn’t Sears own KK now?
Yes, they do. They closed down for a while & when they opened back up they said that Sears bought them. They used to print the pictures on the spot (like picture people) but when they reopened they took the printers out and it took over 2 weeks to get my pictures back.
Wonder if they will screw their customers over AGAIN???
I know that every location is different, but I took my son to KK for birthday pictures last weekend and almost started crying after I left. There was nothing birthday about the pictures, the background was ugly, and the pictures were severely over priced. I had coupons but still spent $75 on an enhanced 8×10, a page of wallets, and a 5×7 with 4 wallets. All she tried to do was sell sell sell. I was so uncomfortable I just wanted to run away. And the pictures didn’t turn out well at all. We are going to JC Penney this week where I know I’ll get good pictures at a good price.
Yes every location is different, and every photographer at that location is different. They are in the business to make sales so they are going to try to sell you all they can. You have to speak up for yourself and say that you don’t want to purchase them because they weren’t good shots. At that point they can either send you on your way or talk it out and see more of what you want and try to reshoot. I have been to many different chains around my area and they are always different everytime so essentially its a crapshoot. I really want to have a professional photographer do my family photos this year but dont know if I can afford it or if I can book it on short notice. Since you already paid and got your photos I would try to contact the company or the manager and see if there is anything they can do for you. hth
We had this problem. We took our daughter every couple of weeks for photo’s and to professionals every 3 months. We wound up going home and placing a huge order on line of over $500 when they went bankrupt. Never saw the photos…
