Graveyard Mall is offering their Christmas mystery boxes once again filled with holiday decor and gifts with Christmas themes like snowmen and Santa for only $19.99 (+ $5.99 shipping)! As always, if you are not happy with the mystery box, you can return it to Graveyard Mall at their expense and they will even refund your original shipping charge. These Christmas Mystery Boxes are set to ship on November 15th and only one box per household. Be sure to order yours now as the quantities are limited.
Some of the items that WILL be in each box include:
* Ceramic Christmas Musical Trees that wind up, rotate to the music, are 6″ to 8″ tall and hand painted (retail value for $30 – $40)
* Mary Engelbreit Mini Plates – come in beautiful gift boxes and are perfect to give away as gifts
(retail value $20)
* Set of 3 ceramic Candy Dishes – These candy dishes look like gift boxes, and there are three of them all in a beautiful looking gift box itself (retail value $40)
* 50″ x 60″ Fleece blanket (retail value $7.99)
* Plus, their usual hodgepodge of extras that fit the Christmas theme or can be used for a stocking stuffer or gift.
Just a reminder that Graveyard Mall offered these same sort of mystery boxes in late September and I received lots of positive responses from Hip2Save readers who ordered these boxes.

Natalie says:
Received my box yesterday and it is going back, nothing worth keeping in it. Very disappointed. Can’t figure out how to send it back though?????? Send 2 emails and no response yet.
Amanda says:
Wow, I can’t believe what they sent, no way is it worth $20, my items weren’t even nice enough for the dollar store! Talk about cheap! I got a movie series from 1981 that states “contains nudity and adult situations” How is this Christmas related? 4 Christmas cds which would be great except they were all Celtic. 4 yellow sticky lights, a candle set that was half melted, hideous picture frame, and a mesh patio bin! What? I’ve already emailed the company, I wouldn’t have paid $5 for this junk! So disappointed! I guess no more mystery boxes for me!
Alice says:
I just got my box today as well and wow, what a bunch of JUNK. I agree, no way it’s worth $20. I need to find out how to return it ASAP.
Cindy Starcher says:
Yes…got my box. Disappointed as well. I wish I would have gotten in on the Mary Englebright dishes and wind up musical Christmas trees, but instead got tennis ball punch night lights…4 of them! I also got the DVD series and one really tacky dollar store cross. There were some “as seen on tv things that were okay…but not worth 20.00 + shipping. There was one thing in there I would REALLY like to keep and it was from JC PENNY’S. It was a really cool train engine..but I think I can find one somewhere for less than 20 BUCKS TOO.
I was sad. You win some and man…do you loose some…lost this time but plan to send back to the company. AT LEAST YOU CAN SEND IT BACK!!!

I opened my box today. Boy was I disappointed. It was filled with cheap, tacky items. There was not one thing in there I would keep and I would be embarrassed to give any as a gift. It is most certainly going back!
kristi says:
Just got my box and was all excited to open it. It was a major letdown. A bunch of cheap junk. All 3 pic frames had defects, a couple items were extremely lame (window arm rest, tarp like material bag), and wine corks require special wine system which wasn’t even included. I figure if I tried to sell it all I would get maybe $5-10 if anyone would buy it at all.
Lori says:
UGGGG! HORRIBLE stuff. The thought was good but no way am I going to keep this junk. I have called the company several times and also sent an email with no response. Anyone else had better luck or are we stuck with the crap we received?
slimschadey says:
I also received my Mystery Box of junk. I just emailed the company. I hoping to hear good news about returning this item (including getting reimbursed on the shipping).
slimschadey says:
I just received a response from Graveyardmall. They are mailing me a return label and assigned an RA# to my order.
Linda says:
Just got my box – VERY disappointed. The musical Christmas tree arrived broken, one DVD set of something I’ve never heard of that I wouldn’t want in my house, a duster, some cloth bags labeled soccer & basketball, a few Scottie plates and a couple other sets of plates. There are only 2 items I’d even consider keeping in it, and none of it that I would ever buy in the store. It’s going back.
Amanda P says:
I’m with everyone else on this. What a bunch of crap!! Mine is going back as well.
krystal robinson says:
wow! after reading all these, I hope mine comes with better stuff! I ordered it after seeing it on this website thinking wow a great deal, they have not emailed me with a shipping date or answered my emails, everytime I call they never answer
Becky says:
I was pleased with my Holiday Mystery Box today. Ceramic snowmen tree music box, Fleece Blanket, 3 Sets (4 EA) Holiday Dishes, Ceramic Snowmen Salt & Pepper Shakers, Ceramic Penguin Baking Soda Container, Three Candy Dishes shaped like presents in a cool box. And, lots of other odds and ends. 2 Candles, Hand Sanitizer, DVD Set, Candy, Frame, Mints. I love snowmen, so it definitely was great. The ceramic boxes and plates will make creative ways to share gifts.
Kristie says:
Got my box o’junk today. Two of the things were broken. The rest of it was just junk, and I didn’t even open everything.
I knew going in that there was a chance it would be garbage, so it’s not Collin’s fault at all. I emailed Graveyard Mall, got a quick reply, will get a prepaid mailing label, and get my original cost plus shipping back.
It was fun getting a box and trying to figure out why I got it, though.
kt0074 says:
My box contained almost the exact things Becky, above received! I think I got a good deal. All of my things are already being narrowed down to see who gets what this year in their stockings! I kinda feel bad for the folks who wasted their time and money on it though. Wonder what gives down at the packing place??
Anna says:
Mine arrived today and it sounds almost like yours and Becky’s boxes. I got so many ceramic items I almost could not lift the box. I was happy but not over delighted. I tried it and probably won’t due it for Xmas because quite a bit of it was not Xmas items.
Lynn Kutz, LMT says:
Arrived today. Being very generous I would assign it an actual value of about $30 total (not including shipping). My box contained:
Ceramic Santas around a tree music box, thin Fleece Blanket, Mary Engelbreit Mini Plates (going for about $6 on auction sites), the Three nested Candy Dishes shaped like presents, another Set of 4 decorative mini Holiday plates, 2 thin ceramic coffee mugs with cardinals, Ceramic Penguin Baking Soda Container, Hand Sanitizer on a clip, 1st & 10 full series DVD Set (about 99 cents online), small mesh bag candy, cheap but cute frame, 12 cinnamon Mints dispensers, 2 boxed ornaments, another ornament, a size small t-shirt, and wine stoppers (useless unless you have the tool to put them in).
Would I have ordered these things or even purchased them in a liquidator store? A few.
I will keep the box. It was fun opening it, and I purchased it as fun giveaways for my corporate and outcall massage clients here in Wisconsin’s Fox Cities area. It will be just a fun gifting most of the items, as they will be mystery packages for the clients to open too!
I would definitely consider doing it again (if I liked the guaranteed portion of the box), especially with their GREAT return policy.
Lynn Kutz, LMT says:
Oops, forgot to include the 2 sportpacks on the list.
And instead of gifting the mints, I will put them out at work with a small sign:
Cinnamon Mints
Minimum $1 donation
All proceeds will be used to purchase supplies for the Emergency Shelter of the Fox Cities
Then will use the money to buy the super great matchups Collin lists that I don’t need for myself, such as the great formula deal at Target, which I can then add to my donation box.
krystal robinson says:
How long did it take you guys to get a order update? I ORDERED on oct 28th
and it says shipped date 11/15 no tracking I have left several messages and they have not
got back to me?
Heather says:
I called yesterday and they said it was just shipped out and I got tracking number today.
Susan says:
I just received my mystery box today. Some of it was junk but most of it will be great for door prizes for my book fair at school. Well worth it for me. I would order again but also wouldn’t hesitate to return it either if it was stuff that was junky or I couldn’t use.
Wendy says:
Add me to the list that is sending it back. I’ve always wanted to try one of these, and am very thankful this one was ‘guaranteed.’ It was total junk, but at least my curiosity is satisfied
Bea says:
I also received my Mystery Box today, and was very disappointed at it’s contents (which were the same as everyone else posting here). I emailed customer service at graveyardmall.com and got a reply with minutes telling me I would receive a return label within 1-2 days to send the box back. I can say I’m happy that I tried it out though -thank goodness for guarantees
Heather says:
I got my box today and overall I am pretty pleased with the stuff I got. The only disappointment is the Xmas tree box/musical box was broken. My box was pretty much the same as everyone else’s. There are a few things that aren’t related to Christmas that I’m not sure what I will do with but they can always be made into “white elephant” gifts.
Sonya says:
I am sending mine back too. It had at least three broken things in it. If they were not broken, I might have kept it, but it was the better things that were.
2blessed98 says:
Just got my box today and was overall pleasantly surprised but admittedly had low expectations. Every item was packed neatly and securely and nothing arrived damaged or broken.
I got an ivory-colored fleece blanket which will be great (if for nothing else) to use in a sewing/craft project or for my dogs. I got the two cardinal coffee mugs which are kinda cheapo but I think will be a nice festive touch on a high shelf in one of my glass-front cabinets, the dvd series about football which will go to my sports-loving nephew, a picture frame (best for a little girl’s room) that is a pink and lavender mushroom with a lady bug on top that I could easily personalize for a cute gift, the hand sanitizer-2-go which I’ll keep in my purse, 12 small packs of cinnamon mints that are in a little container that can clip to a key ring (maybe good for guys since they don’t carry a purse?) Also included were several sets of 4 mini plates- the M.E. “Scottie dog” set in a funky primary color scheme, another set that had a more folk-art feel (solid muted red, blue, black and yellow/gold background with a simple pic on each- star, holly, etc) and, my favorite, a set of 4 cream-colored plates trimmed in olive green, each with a particular seasonal plant/flower and the name written in cursive all done in watery, vintage-look Christmas colors. I also got the snowman baking soda holder that could have come from Dollar Tree BUT I do think if you filled him with soda and wrapped him up cute would make a nice “happy” for a friend. He would be cuter than an Arm & Hammer box sitting on the shelf, for sure! Got 2 packs of Jokari system wine stoppers (will give to wine-loving friends and hope they can use) and 2 cheapo vinyl drawstring backpack-type bags (one orange w/ a soccerball, one red w/ a basketball) that I will probably stick in suitcases to use as dirty clothes bags when traveling, a clear glass ornament that had daffodils and butterflies painted from the inside (gift for a green thumb?) and another that is dark green with a folk-art style angel painted on. I also got an “Inspiration Wear” brand thin ladies’ bright bubble-gum pink l/s tee (sz. small) that has “cherish the journey.” embroidered in cream-colored small block letters across the chest that I think could be cute on the right person. Lastly, I received the 3 “nesting” ceramic gift boxes (due to pastel color scheme looks like something you would probably use as Christmas decor in a little girl’s room) and I got the musical Christmas tree which I think is quite pretty- the colors are muted neutrals with a glazed pottery look. Not sure how it works yet but it will be pretty sitting somewhere in my house! It had a Rite Aid price tag underneath for $12.99 LOL
Okay so this was my “essay” on the Christmas mystery box. I will be keeping the box and using/gifting most of the items. That being said, I am a crafty/creative sort and will be using many of these items for starting-off points to make or include in other gifts. There is honestly not much here that I would give someone as a stand-alone gift as-is but I will put most of it to good use. Just glad I didn’t get the flamingo lights or my frugal mother would have never let me hear the end of my “box of crap.” This was fun and I may even do it again next year.
Happy holidays!
