Just a Quick Note…
My hubby had surgery on his calf this morning (gastrocnemius-muscle recession), so I have been sitting in the recovery room with him for most of the day. He’s doing great (just groggy and very sleepy from all the meds). We just arrived home about 30 minutes ago and now I’m scrambling to get the laundry done, dinner cooked and all those other fun duties! Yipppeee! 🙂
Anyway, I did want to quickly apologize for not being quite “there” today… if you know what I mean. I know some of the deals I posted didn’t quite go as planned (I’m mainly talking about the Gilt Zoobie Pets deal). I normally test out deals more thoroughly… But, as I’m sure you understand, my attention and focus was not at all on my blog today. Hopefully I’ll be back in the swing of things tomorrow!
Oh and seriously the way all of you help each other out in the comment section is so awesome! I was especially touched when I was reading all the comments on this post. You all are so generous.

Aww. I was reading your post as I was sitting in the recovery room with my 2 year old who had to ‘go under’ today for a procedure. Hope recovery is easy and fast for both! Thanks for all you do.

glad to hear your husband is home. i had shoulder surgery last week and i am looking at it as the beginning of recovery. going through surgery is the easy part as you are asleep when it is done. letting go of all the things you normally do and allowing friends and family help in your time of need can be tough. we all understand you need to be there for your husband. family comes first. hope he is up and around soon.

Collin – I think you need to take a WHOLE day off. You are working so hard. Maybe let your sister or a friend you trust post a couple of things in your absence. I am sure everyone will understand. You can’t work 24/7 forever girl. You already do that as a mom and a wife. Maybe schedule the “black out date” for your birthday every year. Thanksgiving and Christmas of course too.
