Alright, so as I mentioned last week, Toys R Us has rolled out a *HOT* new Hasbro Family Game Night rebate promotion! This rebate form should be available in all Toys R Us locations (usually in the game section) and is valid for purchases made from 10/31/2010 to 12/31/2010. You can check out all the details regarding this rebate offer on page 28 of the Toys R Us The Great Big Christmas book or you can view the book online here.

Plus, Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders are on sale for just $3 AND you’ll be able to submit for a $2 rebate on each of them– making your final cost only $1! Also, Ants in the Pants, Don’t Break the Ice, High Ho Cherrio and Memory are only $3 (after the $2 rebate offer)!

Deal Scenario:

Buy (1) Candy Land $3

Bummer, my TRU ad doesn’t have this page. Anyone else have this problem?

    • Kimi

ToysRUs sends me their ads electronically and that ad listed this deal with no mention of needing a coupon. I would call your local TRU and see if they require the coupon or not.

  2. Amanda

So will Scrabble Jr. not work for the rebate?

    • Laurie M.

Apparently not. I bought Scrabble Junior and Monopoly Junior. Whoops! Neither of them qualify for the rebate.

    Hello,
Could anyone please help me with this? I had to return a toy worth $13.00 and purchased the deal in single transaction published by Collin. All these were done in the same receipt. I just wanted to know whether I’ll be getting my rebate. My doubt is though I spent $35.00 + tax, I paid the amount using $13.00 in return + my TRU gift card($23.00) . Will my rebate go through? Please respond.

    • Courtney

Should go thru just fine. Usually the companies look that you purchased the item, not necessarily how you paid.

Just got back from Toys R Us and most of these games listed are MB games and not Hasbro games so wont qualify for the $10 gift card when you spend $35 (on hasbro games)! Just heads up on this…thanks for the info on the sales with rebates though, which is still a good deal.

    • Stephanie

Allison, I hate to tell you this, but Hasbro owns Milton Bradley. They do say Milton Bradley on the front, but if you look on the back of the box, you will see the Hasbro symbol. I received the gift card with these games.

I Drove thirty minutes to the only Toys R Us around to get these great deals. I bought $37 worth of Hasbro games, not including the chocolate scrabble I got for free. If you add that in I spent $47. Anyway got to the cash register and the clerk acted like she had no idea what I was saying about the ten dollar gift card. I explained it to her and told her there was about ten signs posted ALL over the game isle. Another clerk went back there and looked, came back and told me I could not get it because that was a “different promotion” that could not be used with the sale on the board games, that I had to get “full priced games”. I went back and looked at the sign and all that it stated was that you had to purchase $35 worth of ANY Hasbro games. I told the lady this and she responded “I know the sign is wrong, it can be confusing.” So none the less I left the store without the giftcard and VERY frustrated. I called corporate. Still waiting for a response. I looked online at the deal also, and it doesnt say anything about having to buy full priced games, ect….. VERY VERY disappointing!

i went today to get thje deal as well. when i wasn’t given the $10 gift card i asked for it, and was told corporate told them to end the promo early due to overwhelming response. i’m bummed, but $2.50 is still a great deal deal per game

toys r us are out of rebates and can’t get one for you, not good. told to contact hasbro. what a hassle.

  7. stephips

    Barb and everyone,
If you go to hasbro’s website you can get the rebate form. Once at hasbro’s site, click customer service. Then go to FAQ. There is a new link that says Toys R US rebate form. It tells you how to go about downloading the form. I just did it!

    • stephips

Oh, and it also lists which games are eligible. Good luck!

  8. Lauren

Too bad you are only allowed ONE rebate check per household!!! I bought 6 of the games that you could get the rebate on and my Toys R Us told me that I would have to fill out 6 seperate rebate forms and put 6 DIFFERENT ADDRESSES!!! How ridiculous is that?? Figures they would find a way to screw hardworking moms just trying to save a few bucks!!! My total rebate would have been $12, but because of the stupid rule, I’m only entitiled to $2.00!!!!!!

    • Emily

Did you buy 6 different games or 6 of the same game? You can’t get more than one rebate on the same game, but you can buy 1 of each game listed, then mark which ones you bought, all on one rebate check. I have done these before and I got about 10 games.

Looking for the rebates for the Hasbro game I bought. Called Hasbro and they told me it was on your website. Cannot find it. I also bought a Fisher Price kitchen, a shopping cart came with it for free. I also bought an easel, no Crayola Holiday Pack either. I have been back to the store 3 times, no shopping cart. I will probably not make the hour and half drive the next time I’m buying toys for my grandkids. The manager wasn’t very helpful.

    I haven’t received my rebate either…does anyone have a phone #?

    • Linda

I have not received my rebate. I looked up a number for Hasbro games which is 888-836-7025. It is answered M-F. I will need to wait until Monday to call. I may send an email. I also called ToyrUS. No help.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Any update on the Hasbro Rebate situation? It’s now March 8th and I still have yet to receive my rebate check

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just called Hasbro at 888-836-7025. Gave them my name and address. He verified that my rebate is valid and in the system. He said the checks will be sent shortly. They did not notify customers since they had alot of rebates to process.

  14. Tracy

Oh good. I’ve been wondering about this one myself. Thank you to the people who checked. Hopefully they will be sent soon.
