Rite Aid Deals 11/14-11/20

This Hip2Save.com Deal was hand-posted on Saturday, November 13th, 2010 at 9:15 pm.

Just a few reminders, the $1/$1 purchase Video Values coupons can be applied to virtually any deal scenario below AND can only be used once per Wellness card. In addition, all of the Video Values coupons now have a UPC that begins with RC49 and not RC48… this means that Video Values coupons can no longer be stacked with Rite Aid in-ad coupons and coupons from the Flu Shot Coupon booklet as they both start with RC49 as well.

Also, keep in mind that the $5/$25 total purchase PDF coupons (no longer available) may or may not be accepted at your local Rite Aid store. Because it seems that some Rite Aids across the country are not accepting these coupons, I am not going to include them in the deal scenarios below.

If you are considering getting the flu shot this season, you may want to head over to Rite Aid. Rite Aid is offering the flu shot for $24.99 AND you’ll receive a coupon booklet with $128 in Rite Aid savings as a reward. Click here for more information. If you do not have any intentions of getting the flu shot, you can still snag this coupon booklet at NO cost via a video values coupon; click here for more information.

Be sure to join the Rite Aid Wellness Program… all the details can be found here. For more information about the Rite Aid +UP Reward program, click here. For the very latest Rite Aid coupon policy, please go here. I would encourage you to print a copy to take with you to the store.

stupid question but did you use it yet? Normally i wouldnt ask such an obviouse question except i went to print my video coupons today and it says that the 2 $1 off coupons were available but i swear i printed them and used them already…..but i printed them anyway and might see what happens when i go to use them but i assume their going to beep….

    • Heather says:

I just watched the video yesterday, and then printed the coupon, so I couldnt have used it yet, but maybe it refreshed the videos and i had already seen it before(cant remember:) But I will call corporate tomorrow and ask if they can shine any light on the issue.

      • lilroysmom2 says:

good luck and thanks for not miss inturpreting my comment as rude LOL and i just got back from rite aid and in fact my coupons that i thought i used but they said still available to print DID beep and say they were used already. figures one more reason for them to dislike me at my rite aid LOL

    • Heather says:

So today when I went to RA the same supervisor as yesterday remembered me and asked if I had my coupons that wouldnt scan, she then gave me cash for them!! I was so surprised- I do have a good RA! Still waiting from corporate to find out why they wont scan, but that was a very nice gesture from the supervisor.

  • lilroysmom2 says:

has anyone been able to print off that $2 coupon? i summited the info then got a pop up blocker that said their secruity info was in error but i did it again while holding done the ctrl botton and it pops up saying my coupon is printing but its been saying that for about 10 min LOL

  • Julie says:

Is there a reason that I’m not finding the $1/2 SwissMiss coupons in the Oct and Nov. AllYou magazines? And the $1/2 Blistex in the 11/14 SS? I know the magazines aren’t region specific–are these coups online somewhere? Are the newspaper coupon inserts region specific? Is there somewhere online that I can find the Blistex coup?

    • Drina says:

Same here – I’m in Lou. KY, and I don’t see the Blistex in the 11/14 SS.

    • Anonymous says:

I also didn’t have the $1 Swiss Miss cpn in All You . Mine was for pudding. And my Blsitex cpn was for .55 off. I remenbered one today and forgot to take the other one anyway, when I went to RA. So much for clipping and organizing. HTH.

      • Anonymous says:

Safeway has $1 Q for Swiss Miss in Thanksgiving Couponn Booklet. Plus loads of other great Q’s. They are placed all over the store and you’ll also find a smaller Q Booklet that says Over $25 in Savings.

  • Dani says:

More freebies. Use this http://www.cheerios.com/promotions/Begin/Default.aspx and they will email a link for $1/1 Cheerios. It took 2 days for it to arrive in my inbox. Use two of those and the $1/2 VV for free cheerios. Also, if you have been lucky enough to get your hands on the flu booklet there is a $1.00 off Nature Valley or Fiber One cereal bars. Then there are .50 mfc on Smartsource (I think its SS). These are $2/4 with a 1up; so possibly free if you managed two flu shot books out of those stingy monsters.

  • Jessica says:

Does anyone know if Rite Aid gives rainchecks for out-of-stock +UP reward items . . . and if they do, would I still get the +UP rewards for that item-like CVS does?

    • where's the deal says:

My store does! They write on the rain check any ups deals and then subtract it from the price. I did it last week for the purex 3 in 1 that they had on sale and were sold out of.

    • Ashley Marie says:

I asked at my Rite Aid as well because I almost got a rain check. And they told me they will write the price of the item minus the Up reward. So if the thing is on sale for $5 and has a $2 UP they will write the price on the rain check as $3.

    • Linda says:

The RA I go to don’t discount the product by the “up+” amount. So if your won’t do it either, do what I do, when I purchase the product using the raincheck, I call customer service at RA and they will send you the “UP+”. Be sure to keep the weekly flyer because the rep. will ask you to give them the date of the flyer. Good luck.

    • grace says:

yes they do give rain checks on some items, if the cost was $3 and the UP rewards was $2, they give you a rain check with the cost of item as $1.

  • leamanjl says:

Can anyone tell me how to locate my coupon for the flu shot coupon booklet? I can’t seem to find it on my list of rewards and was wondering if it should be listed with all the other video values coupons in my account or if it is in some other location. Thanks.

  • fairy dust says:

When I first got to RA this morning, right at 10am when they opened, I went to the “grocery” section (very limited) and found two cans of evap milk and nothing else… not even a spot for any of the other possible items in that deal. Then I checked the end caps up front, and there were exactly 8 more cans of the items I wanted (pumpkin, chicken broth, evap milk), so even though I felt really bad for clearing the shelves on that deal, if I wanted to do the deal, I pretty much had to buy all they had, or just leave without anything :P

    • kimberley says:

Yeah, that’s why I get annoyed a lot when people complain about shelf clearers because with drugstore a lot of time they only ever had enough stock to do a deal 1-2times so if you’re not the second or third person there you’re SOL. But that doesn’t make it the fault of the person who got their first, it’s the drugstores stocking problem.

  • dana says:

I am going out for the first time to shop RiteAid- I want to purchase the huggies natural diapers but I am wondering if it is a definite that they will honor the sales price since the sales flier does not state including pure and natural……

    Thanks!!

  • diana says:

I get SO frustrated with rite aid. They have great deals but MOST of the time (even when I go when they open Sun) they don’t have many of the items on sale. I got a raincheck 4 weeks ago for something that I wanted which still hasn’t come in yet and now my coupons are expiring.
It is often a lesson in patience for me to go and then they don’t have the stuff they advertise.

    • Emm says:

My rite aid doesn’t even CARRY some of the things in their ADS. They haven’t started carrying Pantene Lenths shampoo and its been in the ad countless times.

    • oconnorsavings says:

First off, my rite aid is great and when my fav manager is there it is awsome! (he has actually met me at the door telling me something i had a rain check for was in and he held it for me! :-) ) BUT When I have a rain check, if I dont find it in the first 2 weeks, I ask the manager(whoever is in) and they will make sure it gets ordered and tell me what day it will be in. If you let them know I’m looking for X I got teh rain check 2 weeks ago, I’m only planning to buy it because of the coupon + UP /SCR deal and the Q expires This date. Usually they will try to get it in before but i’ve had a couple different stores make a note on the Rain check that if the item wasn’t in in time they would take the slightly expired Q(usually a day or 2 old by that point) Remember It never hurts to ask! Oh and 1 of the stores that OKed the expired Q is a SUPER unfriendly store(coupon and otherwise!)

    • Christa K. says:

I have asked both the Rite Aid & Walgreens near me what happens if I have a rain check and the product doesn’t come in until after my coupon expires. I’ve been told at both stores that they WILL honor an expired manuf coupon if the date was valid at the time the rain check was written and they have failed to re-stock the item before the expired date. I’m sure this is a ‘check with your local manager’ question as that type of thing is up to the individual store on how they handle it. Of course, it requires calling up a manager to check out in order to do this since the cashiers usually don’t know what to do, but if you’re patient & ready for a long RA trip, it’s worth it for some of the freebies.

Did anyone had a problem doing Loreal deal…rite aid did not accept my $5/2 and $2 coupon which was in today’s paper.. They said tht it’s was for face not lips… It was not scanning … Seriously I don’t like rite aid any more..

    • Flying angel says:

My rite aid accepted it. However , the cashier have to manually enter the $5.00. Somehow it’s asking the cashier to enter amount. She did not have any problem entering it bec.I purchased the number of item rerquired.

      • swisspotluck says:

I had trouble with it today at a Rite Aid in my parent’s town. But I also had a less than stellar cashier and manager. Had I gone to a different Rite Aid my transaction would have been done in about two minutes, but today’s took about 15 minutes for not that many items. I didn’t get the Loreal items as the coupons wouldn’t work. They almost didn’t take some the VV coupons either because they were initailly having trouble scanning them and the manager claimed that there was nothing she could do about it….etc…I managed to stay pleasant the entire time, but made a mental note to avoid that Rite Aid in the future.

  • [...] **Check out the rest of the Rite Aid weekly deals here. [...]

  • RG says:

    Hi,
This is an unrelated question, but does anyone know if Rite Aid lets you use a formula coupon along with a formula check to buy the same item of formula or do I have to purchase two items.
    Thanks

    • Elle says:

I’ve never tried it at Rite Aid but I’ve done it multiple times at WalMart. My cashier actually told me I could use both because one is a scannable coupon and one is run through as a check and shows up on your receipt as a $5 check. So, I was able to get the large can priced at $18 and some change for only $8 and some change. Cool beans :-)

  • Anni says:

Hey everyone! Just wondering if any of you know how many up rewards will print per transaction with the diaper deal? For instance – If I purchase three packs of the diapers in one transaction will I receive three $3 up rewards? Sorry – still new to this. :) Thank you so much, in advance, for any replies. It’s greatly appreciated! :)

  • Jenna says:

OMG, Im sorry I just need to vent for a second.. I went to RA yesterday and they are normally awesome, always have all product in stock, great about my coups (most of the time), started walking to the register, saw my favorite cashier, smile on my face…..and the “shift manager” sends her to to scoop ice cream and he helps me instead :( I put all my stuff on the counter and he asks me to match coupons to the product, ok, no problem, but then he starts scanning them as he scans the product, I tell him I have a $5/$25 coupon that has to be first so he’ll have to wait till to scan all the coupons, he doesn’t understand, I explain it two other ways, he still doesn’t get it, he has to call another manager to explain it to him (did I mention he’s older than dirt?). Then we get that all settled and we get to my VV coups and he’s NEVER heard of VV! the coupon won’t scan and he doesn’t know what to do and just wants to give it back to me and says it won’t work, I say “It’s your companies coupon, so make it work!” He has to call my favorite cashier over to teach him how to type in the coupon, he can’t get it right, keeps adding $1 instead of taking away, all while my favorite cashier stands by looking at me with sorrow in her eyes, I’ve been at the register about 15 minutes at this point, I tell older than dirt manager “I understand your trying, but in the essence of time could we have someone else who knows how to do this help me?” he insists he knows how to do it, 20 years later I finally leave the store! I feel like calling ahead of time and asking whose on shift so I’ll know when to come in. I felt like screaming!

    • Paola says:

I feel your pain. I have a favorite Rite Aid a block from me. never had a problem there. When they are out of stock on items I go to the other Rite Aid 5 blocks away. Hate it there. They have no clue what they are doing. Tonight was the final straw when I tried to purchase the Gain dish detergent for .89 cents with a $1.00 coupon. the cashier scanned it and it went through no problem then she noticed the difference in the amount and asked the asst manager if she could use it. The manager told her and me no. I asked her to adjust it she said we don’t do that and dismissed it. I’ve had problems with this same asst manager who doesn’t know the Rite Aid policy I left everything and left empty handed. Well I called corporate. They said the coupon could be adjusted. Shows you how much management knows. Either way I think they are going to get a call from the district manager. I hope they do.

    • swisspotluck says:

Hey! I must have been in that same one today, because I had a nearly identical experience at the Rite Aid today I stopped at on the way to visit my parents in another town. I feel your pain…..

  • janine says:

Was there a Loreal coupon for Infalliable lip in the Oct VV? I know I watch every single one of the videos but it is not in my rewards list from October.. I just can’t seem to find..unless I forgot to watch it..

  • Becky says:

Can you please tell me what zip code I can find the kushyfoots in? I live in Michigan which has the short ad but the Rite Aid manager will match the other ads if I print it out, I just can’t find it.

    thanks

  • Diane says:

I just wanted to point out that the comment at the top of this page: “the $1/$1 purchase Video Values coupons can be applied to virtually any deal scenario below AND can only be used once per Wellness card” isn’t true. I have used several in the same day on the same card, and no problems or beeps. Also, be aware that some Rite Aid’s allow a $5/$25 and a $4/$20 video value coupon in the same trasaction! It is after all a regular Rite Aid coupon and a video value, which can be combined. One more thing, the $5/$25 that expires 11/30 has been not scanning for me, but enters fine when typed in manually – but tonight it actually scanned for me. Maybe they finally programmed it in!

My RA was rolling the Herbal Essences and the cereal and granola bars UPS. I have a question. I am now at the 10% status with the Wellness card. Tonight I purchased over $50 before cpns. Shouldn’t I have gotten almost $5 off in addition to my cpns. Nothing came off extra that I can see on the receipt. Is it only for specific items? I thought it was on your whole purchase when you got to the level for the 10% off. I’m confused. Can anyone help?

      • grace says:

no, you only get 10% if the price of the item is more than 90%. e.g., the granola bars were $2, they are normally 3.99, because $2 is half the regular price, you don’t get the discount. I have had my 10% discount for a while and I have only gotten it once, on a newspaper!!

  • grace says:

My Rite Aid has almost EVERYTHING on sale, 25% to 50% off. The great thing about it is taht they are still printing the UP rewards!! the sale goes on until January, I think they are restocking for the new year, makes the Revlon – FREE especially with the $5 coupon they e-mailed out

  • Anonymous says:

Okay, talked to my local Rite Aid maanger and she said the Single Check Rebate progran will be ending January 1, 2011. I don’t think she likes either program because she was complaining that they had over $500.00 worth of coupons on Sunday. Said it took forever to count them. Sometimes I like the Ups but other times I don’t. I just wish they had a longer expiration date on them .

  • Bree says:

I took my coupon in and the people at the pharmacy had NO idea what I was talking about. I explained the Video Values (they didn’t even know what that was) and asked if they could call a manager. They did and he gave it to me. If you still have a problem ask them to call corporate. There doesn’t seem to be good communication on the store level about this one!

  • Laura M says:

In the RiteAid add there is a coupon for $5.00 a $25 itunes gift card. I bought Huggies, Gain, hershey kisses, fried onion,, the itunes GC for $25, herbal essence and 4 other odd ball items. I used a $5 / $25 , plus coupons for items above and the $5 off itunes GC, total was only $23 and change….. Yeah!!!!

  • margaret in seattle says:

i just got a raincheck for 4 herbal essences 2-in-1 for $.99/ea. its good for 30 days and i am hoping there will be a higher value coupons released by P&G soon. if not, i can still use the $.50 off and pay less tax and not worry about $2 UP+. i really like rainchecks in many cases.

    • linda2010 says:

@margaret – wow, so they gave you a raincheck counting in the UPR savings already? that’s great! That’s why I don’t do rainchecks for UPR sales, because they usually don’t give you the UPR.
