As most of you know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy a couple months ago… finally! You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink. (Thanks, Rose Knows Coupons!)

Thanks… and sorry for posting them so late. Life got the best of me.
Shelly D says:
I’d NEVER do this myself, so I don’t think of your posts as late!
Julie S. says:
Thank you!!! I don’t view ANY of your posts as late. Besides life gets busy, and sometimes, I can barely make it to the store.
lisa says:

Renee L says:
The November coupon book expires today
kelli says:
my 10/10 rp for similac is for CONCENTRATE, not the regular liquid- won’t work on this deal
Rose says:
Try it. It might work. Our WG will take Huggies or Pull up coupons on either product!
Anonymous says:
stupid question– but doesn’t the November coupon book expire today or tomorrow? Are the same coupons in the December coupon book, too?
Walgreens » Shopping Tips and Tricks says:
[...] has the Walgreens deals posted HERE! November 20, 2010 | admin | No Comments [...]
Collin says:
Yes, the November coupon booklet does expire today. Oops! I have updated all the deals with the new December coupon booklet. Sorry about that.
R says:

The $1.50 Coffeemate coupons haven’t reset for me. But the 2 $1 coupons will work great–2 creamers for $0.49!
j mcduffie says:

Amanda says:
Me too! Yahoo! Thanks Collin!
Fay Towne says:
thank you for all that you do. After traveling with your kids and post of husband, I think it is great that you even find the time to do this for us. I would be lost without you!! I look at the ads and just tell my husband – I’m not sure what good deals there are, but Collin will tell me!! love you
hollie says:
the first link for the Campbells Select Harvest prints as $1/2 not $1/1
Collin says:
Thanks for the heads up, Hollie. I have updated the deal.
Emily says:
Woah, such amazing deals!
A while ago at Wags and Cvs I found some tearpads with buy one get one free coupons for halls, which makes your scenarios FREE!
I have around 10 of those, if you find them they’re right next to the halls in either Wags, CVS, or RA.
The best part is that they expire on 3/31/11
Mitch says:
My Walgreens will not be able to handle the creamer coupon if there is overage, their computer system and staff are archaic.
But i will try!
thanks again,
http://www.gaynycdad.com
Lauren says:
Print out their coupon policy & take it in with you. I had to show it to them a couple of weeks ago to get them to modify the price. I think it is on their website.
melissinglink says:
LOL @ archaic. The girl in my cosmetic dept says that she won’t alter a Q. No matter what Walgreens I go to I have better service in cosmetics. Give it a try
Lpmousse says:
Thanks a million Collin! I’m glad you’re finally in Boise safely. I’ve had a couple of travel experiences like yours. Grrrr! But arriving there safely is the most important part.
Thanks so much for the great deals. You are amazing!
Jill says:
@ Mitch: I don’t know if mine will adjust the creamer coupon either so I printed one of the $1.50/1 and one $.75 one – $.25 for two creamers is still great!
Brianna says:
Two questions…
#1- I noticed the December coupon booklet has a $.50/1 Simply Juice coupon, does anyone know what the retail price of these are? I still have my $1/1 MQ’s (exp 11/27 for me).
#2- Does Walgreens start their ad a day early like the non-24/7 CVS’s do?
Thanks everyone!
Kira G says:
A little late for the post but they do not start early, well let me restate that, the RR don’t start early. I have asked the manager because they put out the sale signs on saturdays and remove the prev weeks, he didn’t say for sure about the sale prices being effective but he did say that the RR don’t start until 12 local time.

Thanks Collin for all you do! You make it so easy to read and understand….We appreciate all your time and dedication..
Victor says:
My BOGO starburst coupons are for 1.50 oz. packets only. Don’t think that deal will work.
ALYSSA says:
I have $1/4 Campbell’s condensed “great for cooking” soups. Is it true that the Tomato soup is included in that? Cuz then I could combine it with the 59 cent in ad coupon and get 4 soups for 34 cents each
melissinglink says:
Yep, it’s true. I use it all the time
ian says:
Tried to print the Colgate coupon; they are having problems with their site (or it’s just “user error”). Anyone else having problems with that site?
aw says:
Kleenex would be a MM if you have the 1/3 coupons.
aw says:
Oops, I was thinking Shaw’s doubling the .50 cents coupon to 1.00 for the Kleenex deals. Not a money maker after all.
Jen says:
The in ad coupon for the Kleenex says “Limit 3.” How do I buy 6 boxes @ $0.79 each in one transaction? Can I use 2 in ad coupons?
Pam says:
for some reason, it lets you use one and takes off the full price for all of them.
ALLISON says:
I was wondering the same thing … my experience is if you buy more than the limit it charges you the regular price. Also, I do not see the RR in the ad. Does anyone know what page it is on?
Jennifer L says:
I just got back from Walgreens and it worked perfectly buying the 6 even though the coupon said limit 3. Also I got the RR.
ALLISON says:
Awesome … thanks so much!!!
TRACY says:
I purchased the 6 kleenex box deal below but did not get RR…where did I go wrong?
*Deal Scenario #3: (NO coupons needed!)
Purchase 6 boxes of Kleenex 78 or 110 sheets $1.39 each = $8.34
Use the in-ad coupon which will make each box $0.79 (will deduct $3.60)
Pay $4.74
Get back a $3 RR
Final cost only $0.29 per package!
Kira G says:
It is an unadvertised RR reward, happens sometimes and there is no page. Did this deal couple weeks ago for kleenex for the classroom, teacher was VERY grateful!
FIFSTER says:
It does work. It does ring up reg price, but when they scan the coupon, it takes off for all 6, not just the limit. So apparently, technically, no limit, unless the cashier catches it. LOL. and I used the $0.50 off q. so a GREAT deal!
Su says:
Somebody please hellp me..I am new to Wags shopping. If I purchase a bunch of the same item that has RRs in separate transactions, can I then use all those RRs together for another purchase? Or does the system not like it if there are ‘duplicate’ RRs being used? THANKS!!
Coupon_Ninja says:
Yes you can as long as you adhere to the number items/number of coupons policy
Kira G says:
Check out the Walgreens 101 on the site, Collin is awesome about laying out all the ins and outs, I didn’t use to shop at WAGS and now it is one of my favorite places! Good luck in your deal finding at Walgreens!
Anonymous says:
I had two rr from a previous shopping experience and it would only allow 1 rr to be used on my whole total of items..is this normal?
Anonymous says:
I was at CVS this morning and used the Playtex coupons I printed. The manager told me that she would take them today, but that they were considering not allowing internet coupons anymore! UGH.
Pam says:
My Kleenex ended up being free for 8 boxes! I used (2) B3G1 free and (2) 50 cents off 3, then also the Wags coupon for .79 cents each. I had given the cashier the B3G1 Qs first, which deducted the full price of $1.39 for both of those. So, in the end it was a slight money maker (.46 cents not including tax). Even if they only take off the .79, you are only paying a total of .74 cents total for 8 boxes, which is steal a great price.
You are able (per Wags coupon policy) to use both sets of MQs because the 50cents off Qs are off the ones that you are BUYING, which enables you to use the other Qs to get 2 free boxes.
Cherie Roche says:
Pam, I’m confused. The Wags coupon says limit of three, so how did you buy eight?
Pam says:
Cherie, I know the coupon says that, but it let me buy 8 and gave me the full price off for all 8. It deducted the full $4.80 as stated above in the scenarios. Not sure why, but it did.
Shereedee says:
I went tonight and I wanted to buy 6 boxes. At first she said she couldn’t ring it all up because of the limit. She called a manager over and she had her ring up the first 3, scan the coupon and the ring up the next 3 boxes. I was off on what I had to pay but it was still a pretty good deal.
Hazel says:
Thank you! I checked out a couple of the other blogs participating in the Grateful Giveaway… you’re site is THE BEST by far! Thanks for all you do!
Jennifer L says:
Just got back from Walgreens and in addition to some of the other items I purchased, I bought 4 12 packs of soda that was advertised 4/$10. To my delight it also generated a $2 RR! So that made it $2 a 12 pack which is about the best I can ever get here.
Stephanie Poe says:
Hey Collin! I am new to your site… my friend got me started on couponing and i LOVE it and I LOVE your site the best! I check it a couple times a day! Thank YOU SO much for doing all the work you do…
Stephanie
Stephanie says:
Has anyone bought any of the Olay bars yet? I bought 2 today & used 2 $1 off any Olay coupons & it didn’t print the RR. But when they rang it up without the coupons the RR printed….I went to a few WAGS & it was all the same. I’m hoping this isn’t something new corporate has put into process. Anyone else have this experience???
PS – One of the stores is one I go to all the time & have never had issues at, the manager thought it was really strange that the computer was not giving RR because I used coupons, I think he was confused as I was.
Diane says:
Had the same experience at my Wags just now. No RR rewards printed.
Elektra says:
I didn’t get the RR on the Olay. Employee said it was because I used coupons. Never had that happen before. Took them 15 minutes to refund my money and the Olay was the only thing I bought.
Laura says:
This happened to me too. It’s because it’s “Jingle Bucks” instead of Register Rewards. The manager pointed to the “some restrictions apply” part in the ad and told me that the “Jingle Bucks” will not print if you use a coupon because they are manufacturers coupons. This does not make sense because Register Rewards are manufacturers coupons too and the front of the ad says that Register Rewards are Jingle Bucks during this season. And nobody could find anywhere where it specified all the restrictions so I returned mine and got my coupons back-the manager was very cordial about it.
tgebbeken says:
Yeah that happened to me too. Even on the Platex tampons. I just bought it anyway because it’s still cheap. It was still disappointing though.
Melissa R. says:
Had the same experience at 2 stores…thought it was just me. At least it was only $1 (2 times). I can live with that blunder after all the money makers lately. Thanks, Collin!
Melissa R. says:
Just called Corporate…I was told that sometimes using a coupon to purchase the item will void the RR. I asked what would indicate that to me (what wording should I look for in the ad) and she said it wouldn’t be indicated. Her advice was “do not use a coupon for an item that you expect a RR to print”. What!? That’s crazy.
Anna says:
I went to WG today and got 99 cents 7 Up plus the bottles have a 55 cents coupon off hanging on them. It made the bottle 44 cents! I got 4 but was sorry I did not get more. I got 4 7 Up bottles, 4 cans of Harvest soup, 6 boxes of Kleenex, 4 bags of candy, 1 Tic Tac and 2 creamers all for $4 including tax. Got a $3 RR. Great day at WG.

I bought the 2 BOGO starburst gummies today at Walgreens, which were already BOGO, and they wouldn’t let me use the printed coupon of BOGO to make it free? Anyone else try this? So I paid the $2.29/2…
Btw, thank you Collin for this website! I am new to couponing, and this site helps tremedously with that as well as everyday good deals!!

They wouldn’t let me use both either. I didn’t argue since I then noticed that the Q wasn’t for the correct size.

Went today and bought One trial size Secret, and one 2-Bar Olay. Used the Buy Secret, and Olay product get $5 off from the November P&G. If you choose to buy 2 of the Olay 2 pack soaps, along with the .99 cent Secret, it’s a $1.01 MM with RR. If still works when you buy only 1 pack of Olay, giving you $2.01 overage to use on other items in your transaction. You don’t get the RR in that scenario, but that was ok with me!

A year ago my sister-in-law introduced me to Hip2save. I became an addict and was snagging great deals at every Walgreens or Target I could get to. My storage room looked like a mini walgreens. I thought I was out of control until my husband lost his job in April. It was a huge blessing for me have all those supplies and food. He was out of work for 4 months and we are just starting to financially get back on our feet. If I didn’t have all those deals to use I really don’t know how we could have made it. THANK YOU COLLIN!!! LOVE YOU LOVE YOU!!! My first trip back to Walgreens was yesterday to snag some deals. I spent 22.58 and got back $10 in register rewards. Some cash to spend on Black Friday!

There is a Walgreens coupon in the December coupon book for $3 off Buffrin. You can stack that with the $3 Buffrin Manufacture coupon from the 10/17 SS for some free Buffrin!! (at least based on the prices here in Oregon.)

Lesson learned today… take the coupon policy with me to Walgreens!!! Neither the checker nor the manager would take 2 Coffee Mate creamer coupons ($1.50 on 1) with the B1G1free sale. I even asked them to adjust the price to make it work and they said they couldn’t because I was getting that item for free. Grrrrrrr… BOO Walgreens!

FIFSTER says:
Weird, take them all back then. It should have printed.
It does work in Vancouver WA. It does ring up reg price, but when they scan the coupon, it takes off for all 6, not just the limit. So apparently, technically, no limit, unless the cashier catches it. LOL. and I used the $0.50 off q. so a GREAT deal!
tgebbeken says:
OK, I looked online at the Walgreens ad and it doesn’t say we get a register reward for purchasing tampax or olay beauty bars. It just say 8X or 4X the points.
Tammy says:
Tic Tacs are $.94 at Walmart so $.99 at Walgreens is not a deal to highlight in red.
Cassandra says:
she posts the best deals at EACH store. even if another store has the same item and a better deal. not everyone has a Walmart around

I can’t get the Coffee-Mate $1 Facebook coupon to load from their page. I’m signed in, “Liked” them, and clicked the “click to get started” button. The page has been loading for such a long time, and my internet is quick. HELP!
I use FireFox. Should I use InternetExplorer instead?
Julie S. says:
I got to the page to put in my email address and “print coupon now” but it stopped working, and showed :
“Gateway Timeout
The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.

Does anyone know what I should do?
