    what a hip deal! Thanks.

  • Corie says:

This EXCLUDES all “sale and discounted merchandise” so it won’t be sweetening any deals :( Oh well!

    • MommySpendsLess says:

You beat me to it. It also excludes milk, bread, newspapers, magazines and a few other things. Since CVS’s regular prices are so much more than other stores in the area I don’t think this coupon will really do much good, unless you need some OTC medicine that you can only find at a drug store or something like that…

Just a heads up…I got a 25% off my total purchase from the magic coupon machine yesterday. It was the first coupon the cashier scanned and it took something like $10.50 off my purchase and I was sooo excited, but it adjusted itself after my ECB and coupons, so I only got 80 cents off.

    • Lynn V says:

I got a 25% too! Except instead of on the magic coupon machine mine came with my receipt at check out. AWESOME!

    • MrsK says:

Same kind of thing happened to me. I got one of these % off coupons a couple of months ago. I bought several items that were not on sale (I figured that with the % off it would make it an okay deal), but when I paid with ECB, it lowered the amount I got off even more. I decided that I would not even waste the ink to print these anymore.

  • Teri says:

FYI: The coupon specifies that it cannot be used on sales items.

this is off topic i apologize but it seems the other post was pulled probably because of all the bickering but i need some friendly imput….i went to rite aid this morning to get the foam kits for free (i wasnt worried about overage i even varrified ahead of time that they dont do overage) but when i placed my order on the counter the shift supervisor said i couldnt do the deal because the coupon was more then the product. i then mentioned reducing the coupon and she said she couldnt that she doesnt know why the coupon policy says they can when theres no button for that.then i did ask again about what i i put something else up there she said not unless it was more foam kits….do you see a cycle here? LOL so in the end i couldnt get the two foam kits…is that the way it “should” be? i dont really want to call corperate because i dont think the people like me at my rite aid any way and i dont want to cause more hard feelings. and i dont want to risk the cashiers job either…..any suggestions?

    • begabone says:

      To lilroysmom2;
Are there any other Rite Aids in your area? My suggestion is to try to find another Rite Aid in your area. We have to travel a little to get to a Rite Aid. One Rite Aid is awesome! Another one in the opposite direction is not. So I go to the one that will take my all of my coupons and gives me the best deals.

    • NolaGirl says:

The cashiers and managers should follow the coupon policy. That’s why it exists. A call to corporate won’t “get them in trouble”. It should provide corrective guidance. If they don’t understand their jobs or corporate policy, they should be reacquainted correct procedure. And I’m very sure the registers have an override key or code.

heyy can someone please tell me if the cashiers are supposed to keep this coupon after they ring you up because when walgreens does a similar deal you get your coupon back to use again , if not can I print the coupon again?

    • rachel says:

When you use a coupon, you are not supposed to get it back. Then the store wouldn’t get reimbursed for the couponv value and would lose money.

      • Danielle says:

Lol I am aware of that with regular coupons but I was just saying that when Walgreen’s does these savings pass promotions you receive the coupon back to use for the few days it is valid

    • Roger says:

In-ad WG coupons are WG coupons and they usually only need the last few digits to enter. But if a mfr. coupon, they do need to keep it to get reimbursed. As with RA, Video Value coupons are mfr. coupons, so they need them to get reimbursed. I think they have to have the in-ad coupons, too, to reconcile their registers. That’s what a manager at RA told me one time, when I asked. Guess they have to be able to show proof to auditors or if questioned, why they entered a different price.

  • Mitch says:

I got a 25% off on my cah register receipt.
Which I can stack with the gift certificates I bought myself, which is a 20% discount.

    mitch
how do you use cash register coupon online for buying giftcards online ??

  • kidsallgone says:

    Finally got it to work.
It says it’s a “shopping pass” til the 5th, but the small print says it has to be turned in with your first purchase. Confused here……

    • Donna Mc. says:

You can use the 20% off on the Benifiber and Revlon deals. They are not on sale pirces, but product very nice EBs.

      • Melissa says:

doesn’t work on ECB deals either, since those are considered ‘sale’. I used mine yesterday, needed some makeup sponges and bought the EOS lip balm which is an unadvertised ECB deal, and the discount only took off .40, for the sponges .

  • muser says:

If you go here on the 4th, you will be able to print a 30% off coupon valid for 12/4 and 12/5 in-store (and online).

  • Melanie says:

Big waste of time. Anything with an ECB offer is coded as “sale” even though it is full price. My total was $14.00 and I paid with ECB’s so they said I couldn’t use my coupon.

  • MommyPants says:

Ya this coupon wasn’t perfect but I was able to save $5 on a pillow pet paid for by ECB’s. I was a little miffed as I didn’t read it and expected 25% off diapers etc. but for all the free stuff I have gotten I just took it. I’ve saved WAYYYYYYYY more than I’ve spent at CVS thanks to this site :)
