    • guest

thanks! i went yesterday to toys r us and just had such a HUGE problem with them, they couldn’t get the 10 hasbro gift card to work and i was purchasing a 25 gift card for someone else…it was just a mess! hoping to get to a different toys r us today and start over- this coupon will be nice!

      • Rei

Same issue for me today! The manager said the hasbro gift card deal was over?!

I will tell you that this dog walks really slow. I think he takes 2 steps and then stops, barks, turns his head and then you have to press the button for him to walk again. Needless to say, he was not quick enough for my daughter and I ended up returning it. They give you the impression as though you can walk down the sidewalk with the dog right by your side but this is unfortunately not the case. Just a heads up since they are alot of money.

    • Sandy Shoes

Thanks for that information, Tiffany. I almost ordered one for the grandbaby, but she is a bit more active than that!

      • guest

don’t get it! my daughter was dying for one for her birthday and i gave in…the dog is slow!!!! she can not walk down the street with it 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you for the personal review!!! My daughter has been asking for one of these, she is 9 and I keep telling her she is too old for it!!! I considered giving in but after your review I think I will just tell her NO. Not worth the money for something she will play with for a few hours then forget about.

    • momma.of5

SO glad I just read this! This was on my list for one of my daughter’s but don’t think I am going to get it now.

      • Amy

Me either! Thanks for the review

    • Amy J

Thank you for the info. My soon to be 8 year old wants this dog too. I thought she was too old for it too, but she loves her stuff animals. May have persaude her to other toys/dolls this Christmas. Thanks for the heads up!!

    • Steph

My daughter got this for her birthday and she loves it. Ours goes pretty fast, but I also replaced the batteries right away. I, however, wouldn’t recommend for anyone over the age of 6.

    • JennyB

My mother in law bought this for my 4 year old on her birthday this year. We couldn’t even use it til we bought new batteries(I guess it was on the whole time at the store for display) so that kind of sucked lol But then it was really fun for about 1/2 hour til the thing gobbled up the battery juice. I even bought Energizer! Since I can’t afford new batteries every day we kinda don’t play with it anymore. Bummer, it is really cute but not worth $5 a day for batteries. I would think rechargeable ones would get sucked dry faster, otherwise I would have bought some.

My daughter’s friend has a dog that is similar to the Fur Real dog, except it is the Target brand (can’t think of the name), and is about $15. She and her friends (ages 3-6) all loved playing with it! I think it is also pretty slow and prob. doesn’t do as much as the Fur Real dog, but it is def. $15 worth of fun. That Fur Real dog just doesn’t seem like $35 worth of fun, imo!

I did alot of my kids birthday/Christmas shopping with the Target Toy Catalog! I saved $80! Which was very nice! I had the Go Go Pup in my hand, but decided to put it back. I think I am going to go pick it up now since I have 2 coupons for it. Can’t go wrong with that!!!

    Collin
my walmart has the Baby Alive Simple Care For Me Doll price cut down to $19.99 so minus the coupon it would be $14.99, but last year black friday they were down to $14.99 so if you hold on to the coupon it will be $ 9.99

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t find the 10/1 Target coupons, anyone know where it is?

    • Liz

It’s on page 6 under the sporting good & toys category.

    • Anonymous

There is also a coupon for 50% off of the Furreal kitty on the 1st page…

  7. SHELTZEL

Target also has a $5.00 coupon for the U Build Monopoly.Another great deal I got at Target brought this week Toys r Us ad and got the Guess Who Extra for $10.00 and used Targets $5.00 coupon and paid $5.00 for a $20.00 game. Also the Leap Frog Tag is on sale at Toys r Us big catalog for $29.99 and Target has a $10.00 coupon. You get it for $19.99.Half price.

  8. SHELTZEL

Target has there toy book in the toy section with the coupons in it before you waste all your ink.

  9. Jessica

The Dairy Queen Blizzard Maker is one sale this week for $24.99, regulary $29.99. Use the $10 coupon and it makes it $14.99, half off !!!!

    • Tricia

If you got the Walmart toy catalog (mine was in this past Sunday’s paper), the Blizzard maker is listed at $19.99. You could price match that price at Target and use the $10 Target coupon making it $9.99 instead of $14.99 HTH!

      • Belinda

it doesnt work that way at target. they take the target coupon before the price match so it defeats the whole purpose. so really u cant price match and use a store coupon.

  10. Nancy

I already bought my granddaughter the GoGo Walking Pet b/c I thought they would sell out early. Paid $49.99 thru Amazon. Argh! But I did get free shipping …. 😉

    • Michelle

i JUST got my daughters 3 days ago from amazon. URGH…go figure it would get bad reviews and have some coupons to go wtih it…just my luck

  11. Lindsey

THANK YOU!!! I have been holding out for a good deal on this puppy!!!!!!

  12. Kelly

My daughter (8) just got the go go walking pup with her birthday gift cards and loves it, i was skeptical about it especially for the price and I must say I am happy with the purchase.
As a previous reader posted it was slow when we first opened it only took about 2 steps and stopped we tried restarting like the trouble shooting guide said but that didn’t work so i just went and put new batteries in it and it worked perfectly. Granted my daughter can’t run down the street with it but she can walk with it on the sidewalk and she absolutely loves it, I give it two thumbs up.

There is also a $5 TQ for the Nerf Stampede ECS – Making it a $10 savings!

  14. Heather

Thanks Collin! This is the first year my 3-year old twins girls have made a Christmas list, and one of them has been begging for this toy but I couldn’t bear to spend $50 on it – or let anyone else! With this sweet deal she just may get what she wants!

  15. Kerri

Thanks..it’s on my 3 & 5 yr. olds’ list, so seeing as I am going to have to buy 2 (god forbid they share!), This will save me $30!!!! Woo Hoo! So sad we get so excited over savings!:)

  16. Leslie

Argh!!! I just purchased this walking puppy YESTERDAY!!

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t get the Hasbro coupons to load… anyone else having this problem?

  18. Tiffany Taylor

While it is not the puppy my daughter has been asking for a pony since she could talk and fell in love with Butterscotch the Fur Real pony, which as you all probably know is crazy expensive. Well I was bound and determined to find this and the lowest I could find was 269.99 NO WAY would I ever spend almost my entire monthly grocery budget on a toy. Well a little desperate I looked on Craiglist. I found one for 75 and talked them down to 50 :0) This pony came in like new condition and with everything (including paperwork) but the box!! Which is fine since in this house Santa never delivers toys in boxes. Butterscotch is quietly awaiting her special day over at Nana’s house…. Can’t wait!!! So make sure to not forget to check out Craigslist or sites like it when buying high priced items :0)

I just used the Transformers coupons at Fred Meyers.. They have the sets on sale for $7.99 I got 10% off for a door buster special and then used the $3.00 coupon.. got 2 of them for $4.19 each.. While I was there I cruised the Halloween costumes 75% off.. Found a Buzz Lightyear in my sons size originally $24.99. 75% off put it down to $6.24 then 10% off of that and I got it for $5.61..yeah.. this will go in my sons stocking this year.. he loves to play dress up and wants everything Toy Story.. Happy shopping everyone..

my 4 year old daughter has asked for the gogo pup for christmas and I just wanted to share how I got this $49 dog for only $25!! Smiths food and drug has the dog advertised for $39.99 so I price matched at target added on the $10 off coupon from target and the $5 manf. coupon..pretty excited about my good deal.
