It ended a week or two ago.
I just wanted to comment on the American Laser Centers sweepstakes…I signed up and they have been calling me non-stop to set up an appointment (where of course I would pay). I’m not entirely sure if they are actually giving away anything, or if they are just using this to collect phone numbers to solicit people in. Just a heads up! 🙂
Oh my goodness I did the same thing and did not check to recieve phone calls and they still called me ???? I don’t like when companies do that….
They’ve called and emailed me nonstop even though I asked them to stop
If you all have problems with pesty telemarketers after you sign up for free stuff or enter sweepstakes, set up an email account to use only for junk mail and find someone who can invite you to use google voice. Both are free and if you set up a gmail account – you can link your google voice to your junk email account. It has saved me the headache of getting calls from random sales folks. 🙂
They Offered me a 300 off and i told them not to call
yeah, I didn’t check the box for them to call me and received a call within 5 minutes. Thankfully my 2 year old was screaming so I was able to truthfully say I was busy at the moment, and have ignored their 3x a day calls, Good idea about setting up a separate account though!
yep, was so excited that I won the $300 certificate, but then found out that EVERYONE wins the $300 one! lol. BUT I however didn’t get bugged over and over, they were nice enough to stop calling, as soon as I asked them the first time. 🙂
Sometimes just for entering, that gives them the right to call once, but it’s your responsibility to ask them to stop, or take you off the list, once you sign up.
yea, they have been calling me too. if i would have known they call like that, i wouldn’t have signed up for the giveaway.
Yeah they called me within 3 minutes of signing up … but the did offer a swee $ 300.00 coupon … I will be not only passing on that but unsubscribing to their contacts :o)
Did everyone play the Sobe Heads or Tails instant win game this summer? I played it daily and won a pair of flip-flops and a couple free drink coupons, but I didn’t receive them in the mail until yesterday Dec. 1st. I found this kind of ironic since the coupons expired Nov. 30th, Oh well, at least I got a free pair of flip-flips. Did anyone else have this happen?
If you go their FB page, they have a number listed that you can call and they will re-issue your coupons with a later expiration date.
Yeah, I got two free SoBe coupons too yesterday in the mail. I went to their site and emailed them hoping to get another few coupons without an expired date!
I just call their toll free number (1-800-316-0299) and the customer service rep I spoke with was very nice, she took my name and address and said they will mail replacement coupons that should arrive in 4 – 6 weeks. Thanks!

Me too! LOL! I got two expired coupons today and called the number. I was told to expect my replacement coupons in the mail in 6 weeks. Very nice customer service rep helped me with it! LOVE SoBe!

OT: Has anybody been able to find the Little Debbie Peppermint Swiss Rolls anywhere yet?
I haven’t been able to find them either and they look delish!
They are sold at walmart (in Idaho)
I got them at a local grocery store, Basha’s in Arizona.
Is anyone else having issues with the Little Debbie one? If I use one computer (using Firefox) I never get the option to enter as it isn’t recognizing that I “like” them. The other computer (using IE) freaks out when i try to enter on it.

ME TOO!!!! It was like 6:30 in the morning and I’m at the computer screaming” I WON, I WON”!!! My kids all came in and shared my excitement while my husband looked at me like I was crazy! Then at Kmart I won a free chapstick on my Rewards card. I had a GREAT day!!!
I won a Nivea Facebook sweepstakes…I was supposed to win a Nivea/Volleyball t-shirt, but hte Volleyball league ended their seaons early, so they sent me a $25 AmEx gift card instead! Plus two free Nivea bodywash coupons! I forgot I entered it, but received all these goodies in the mail yesterday.
Personally, I am much happier with the gift card than the t-shirt! 🙂

It is true – I won Kettle Chips Real Resolutions Sweepstakes this past year. I received a trip to Los Angeles. Consulation with a dietician and 3 months of follow up. Plus a year’s supply of Kettle Chips everything from Baked to their new Tia’s. They told me they had 16,000 entries and I was randomly selected. It was soooo cool.
