My son desperately wants the new Harry Potter Legos Castle for Christmas and it’s SOOO expensive!! I’ve been trying so hard to find a good deal or sale on it but there’s none to be found! All of Toys R Us Lego sales exclude the Harry Potter sets. Does anyone have any ideas on where I can score a deal on this?
I have also been searching for a deal for the Lego Harry Potter castle and been unable to find one. If I can’t find a deal my son may not be getting this for Christmas this year, unfortunately. It’s just soooo expensive!
A couple ideas: I bought the $100 Amazon gift card from eBillme that Collin had posted a bit ago and sent in for the $15 rebate. That scored me a $100 present for $85, so you could consider that for knocking the price down a little.
Or, if you buy from Toys R Us and are signed up for their rewards program, you will get 10% reward back in the form of Toys R Us money, but at least you can get something else for the expense later. I am signed up for the TRU reward program and I have twice received emails for a one day, one item, 20% off coupon – I was able to buy an expensive Lego set with that, and I don’t remember any Harry Potter exclusion. No guarantee that they’ll send such coupons again, but just something to look for…
Borders carries the castle and accepts coupons on it. Here in LA it is all sold out, but you might want to call and try in your area. Good luck!
I was having trouble finding the Harry Potter castle. When I searched the closest Toys R Us stores none appeared to have the castle. When I repeated the search but chose 50 miles- a local store that should have come up in the first search suddenly appeared and they had 5 of the castles this past weekend. I would call your closest stores and double check. Also, we had just received a $10 off your $100 purchase coupon at Toys R Us in the blue letter size envelope coupon mailer (sorry I cannot remember its name) this past weekend that I was able to use.
Where do you always fine the extra 10% off codes?? I always see you post them, but never on the days that I order from Target! 🙁
