Ugh…I just bought this last week for twice that and I had already shipped!

    Marilynn Walton:
I bought a toy from Kohls for $25 and found it only for $9.99 from Amazon – so I still got the Amazon one and then waited for the one that already shipped to me to arrive and returned it to Kohls store and got my money back – that way I avoided the return shipping cost. SO, check with the return policy to see if they have free returns or instore ones!

I did purchase it thru Kohl’s, but had it sent directly to my grandchildren across the country to save on shipping fees since it shipped free. I kind of hate to ask them to do anything with it except wrap it and put it under the Christmas tree! If I had purchased it locally and my kids were here, I would take it back!

      • momwhocares

I understand – I am the same way, that’s why I passed on the olay rebate deal, I would have to ship the items directly to my family members and couldn’t see asking them to mail me the rebate form. So, I passed on it –

I always keep in mind – that there is always a deal we will miss, a coupon that will get unused (even though Collin had a great deal post for it), a coupon we forgot or overlooked when at the store, but to just focus on the ones we do get. 🙂 You Rock for all the hard work you put into being a couponer!

Why not purcahse the one from amazon and then take it back and return to Kohl’s?
It is the same item after all.

  3. Karen

Thanks! I had been thinking about getting this for my son but didn’t want to pay full price, this is a great deal though 🙂

  4. couponluver

Wahoo great deal! I paid over $18 for this at Kohls’ when they had the toy deal, so i will return that one this week and wait for this new one for a mere $8.99 gets here! Thanks Collin 🙂

  5. Monique W.

Oooo yeah! I just snagged it and only paid $3.99 after I used a $5 giftcard from swagbucks!!!!!!

  6. laura s

so mad i left my wallet at home today. going to buy 2 of these when i get home. hopefully the price stays the same.

    • momwhocares

Oh I just hate that!! That is why I started making accounts with my debitcard info in some of them (the big ones like Amazon, JC Penny, not the smaller companies) – my hubby sometimes takes my card and then I cant reach him when hes working. Makes me so mad!

You can also put your info in a safe place online like paypal to make payments too.

    • kristen

I’m so used to making purchases online I have my card info memorized LOL

  7. Lacey

    YAY!!!

So bummmed I bought this last week for 11.99 from amazon.

  10. Lisa

so I just signed up for amazon mom and now it says I am an amazon prime member. Is there a fee for that? I always thought amazon prime had a fee? Does anyone know if I signed up for a free trial or something by joining amazon mom that I will be charged for later?
    Thanks!

    • Anonymous

You won’t be charged for it later, it will just end after 3 months.

      • Stef

Okay, I seem to be confused. I also joined Amazon Mom. Does this mean I signed up for an Amazon Prime membership, too? If so, do I need to cancel after 2 months, or will I be charged the $79? Please help if you can. Thanks!

  11. Janet

Thank you for posting this great deal! It is something I am sure one of my nieces will love!

  12. Tammy Huffaker

Thanks so much! One more niece checked off the list! I love amazon!!!

  13. savysaver

How did you get free shiiping? It says on orders of $25 or more.

  14. Caryn F.

I just got this for my son for christmas and I know he will love it!!! He already has so many cooking items and tools (like his dad) and he loves doing things that we do and really watches us do them! It’s so amazing the little things that children pick up on! 🙂

I have an amazon mom account and I ordered diapers and did the subscribe and save for the extra discount plus an additional promo code from a magazine. I need to order more diapers and I have a promo code too again. If i order another box of diapers through my subscription page using the “send an extra shipment now” button will it give me the option to enter in a promo code for that shipment? Or do I have to cancel that subscription and make a new one when ever i need more diapers with coupon codes?

  16. Bridget B.

Thank you so much for posting this. My youngest is only 4 weeks old so I just wanted to get him something small from Santa but hadn’t picked anything up yet. This is perfect and I can save it for later. I’m shopping for 6 kids this year so every little bit helps! I also needed more diapers and did the subscribe and save thing with a coupon that I forgot expires this month so I saved a bunch on diapers to, thanks for the reminder :).

  17. Minde Yorchak

Wooohooooo! I had bought this for $20 at Toys R Us, but now I got it for FREE!! I had $10 in swagbucks gift cards sitting around so I used them today! Thanks so much!

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just bought this on Amazon and then clicked to your site and see that you have posted! It’s good to see I got a good deal. The reviews and the price looked great so I’m getting one for my niece’s little girl. Thank you Collin!

  19. Brandy

Great deal! I used the promotional code and actually got $2 off, bringing my price to $7.99! LOVE it!

  20. Amanda C.

Thanks so much. Just ordered this for my nephew!

Does anyone know how to find the promotion codes for Leapfrog thru Amazon? I was just wondering if there were codes for any of the other Leapfrog stuff but I can’t find where to look on Amazon.

  22. Jennifer

We are on a really tight Christmas budget this year and have yet to buy our 18mo old anything, holding out for a few, great priced toys. I have wanted this toy for him for awhile now. The promo code gave me $1 off making it $8.99 and with tax a $9.67 total. How can you beat that!!! Plus free 2-day shipping. Thanks for sharing. I was bummed when I missed the fridge magnet alphabet set.

  23. Alea

Thanks! I was able to get this for free with the store credit I have earned over on Amazon 🙂

  24. Jennie

I have been looking at these! Glad I got a good deal on it. Thanks Collins, you’re the best!!!

  25. Nicole

I already bought quite a few toys for Christmas with the Hasbro coupons when they were out, but I couldn’t pass this up at that price!

  26. Esther

Thank you. I am so excited for my daughter to play with this. I am excited to see what food facts it has since I got a BS in Dietetics.
