Woo Hoo! CVS just released a new holiday shopping pass on the CVS Facebook page. Just head on over to their Facebook page, “Like” them, then click on the “Holiday Pass” tab and enter your ExtraCare card number to score an in-store coupon good for 20% off your entire purchase, valid thru 12/26. Keep in mind that this coupon cannot be used on sale items.

Just scored one but it was valid through 12/26/10, not 12/23. Even better.

So I can’t use this 20% off on the Zhu Zhu pet deal then, is that right?

  3. Amanda

It seems pointless if I can’t use it on a sale item. Isn’t that the point of doing the whole CVS coupon/ecb thing? Spend little oop because you are using coupons and ecbs and getting more ecbs? So you can’t use this on anything that gives ecbs?

You can make your own sale and still use coupons on it if have them. Granted, it would be nicer if we could take the 20% off of everything, but it is still nice to have the offer of 20% of nearly everything else in the store!

    • robin

but you can use it on a regular price item you have a coupon for and make it a great deal

  4. Angel

Do you print this coupon or does it just go on your card?

  5. Mary

Thanks Collin! I missed the free tissue paper from wags and really need some so this will help!

I used the 25% off that was emailed to buy several 6-pack Boost it worked but the ECB did not print.
There was a sign that if you buy the six pack you get 2 ECB’s, or 4 EC’s if you bought the bigger pack. It didn’t bother me, b/c i still ended up paying like two bucks for each six pack (after Man Q and Store Q).
I don’t know if the ECB didn’t print b/c i got the wrong item or b/c of the 25% off.

Yes I’m curious…what would you buy at CVS if it’s not on sale? The cool thing is that you can “make your own sale” with this coupon, but the 20% off might not make up for their overly-inflated regular prices. Let us know what you plan to buy with this!

My CVS has Turner milk behind doors and I have never had a problem with it spoling, unlike Walgreens. =) The milk is about 2.99 so around 2.40 after the coupon ( if it doesn’t exclude dairy). That is about what the store brand is running at the groceries store now and I’d much rather save myself a trip to get my 2 year old’s milk!

    • jcc253

      It Excludes Dairy.

I don’t know if this applies to all CVS’s but my kids always complain about their milk having a bizarre taste and I agree. It tastes like metal. I stopped buying milk there and get it from Rite Aid where it’s always excellent and cheap or free. 🙂

I am 29 years old my mother bought me milk from Walgreens and it tasted terrible. I vowed to never buy milk from Wags, Cvs or Rite Aid.

I would like to use this on a Snuggle (Sponge Bob is reg price) but I can’t find the snuggie 🙁

My husbands card regularly prints 30% off passes. I wait until the boxes of diapers are not on sale and with a $5/25 and MQ and someimtes an additional CVS daiper Q, we get awesome deals. I also use it on baby formula (which is never on sale). I get my $20.99 enfamil enfagrow down to $14 and change, which is the cheapest you can find it. Again, combine with $5/25 from emails, $5 MQ and formula checks and another freebie deal. Even things like trash bags and detergent at 30% off gives you good deal when you combine with $5/25 coupons. I love these 30% off passes when I get them! I don’t know if 20% is worth it, you would have to really look around. 30% seems to give me a pretty good deal. 20% might mean you are getting the same price you would as if you were at Target or something. BUT, the fact that you can still stack it with their $5/$25 (if you have one) can mean a much better deal.

I wish I would have paid attention to the fact that it doesn’t include sale items so another waste of ink on a Q that is worthless.

CVS is my favorite of the 3 big “drug” store chains, I find these extra care deals to be awesome, and all of their coupons are better than the rest.
    thanks for this one!

I get free stuff every week at rite aid and most of the time I pay with up rewards or coupons. Something that’s becoming harder to do at CVS. I still love CVS though.. just not as much as Rite Aid. It could always change lol.

      • melissa

I find all of the drug stores go through lulls at some point. I get disinterested in RA & Wags just the same as CVS.

  13. NolaGirl

Will it work with rainchecks that include extrabucks?

    • mouni

Nope. It excludes any sales or ECB items.

  14. amanda

I used the 25 percent off one on a large bottle of Bio true that was 10 bucks. because I got a 5 dollar off coupon out of the “Magic coupon Machine” and had another high value manu coupon so I basically got it for free. I was planning on using this to buy the Biore pore strips because i screwed up and didn’t buy them when I had the 25 percent off one!

  15. Carrie

I just got back from trying to use the Q. There were several regular price small stocking stuffer items I purchased for my dd but unfortunately it didn’t take the 20% off any of them. 🙁

  16. mouni

They sent me a 25% pass last week but I didn’t use it because everything I bought was on sale. I’d rather they send me the $ off coupons .

  17. Zack

Of course they release this the day after all of our Extra Bucks from Thanksgiving expired. :/

  18. melissa

Here’s a decent deal if you printed the Biore $5 off coupon the other day. According to cvs.com, the Combo pk is $9.99. 20% off would be $2, so $7.99 less $5IP = 2.99 for 14/strips.
