Ok, I feel dumb but what is “the magic coupon machine”??????
I don’t shop at CVS much but am starting to more.
It’s the red box near the front door of most stores. Just scan your CVS card and it prints out CVS coupons that can be used with manufactures coupons. These coupons can only be used with the card scanned. Be patient, sometimes it takes a while for the coupons to print.
i wonder if you get this daily? i will try tomorrow and save them and use a 4 off 20!! for a money maker!
I just did this like 30 mins ago! It printed for me, but I thought they’d probably be expensive since it was such a high value coupon. The coupon did, however, state that they were “on sale”, so I wandered on over. $2.50!!! Free after Q! Woohoo!
Btw, I got the Q on my 2nd scan. My mom told me awhile back that you can actually scan it twice. I usually get better Q’s on the 2nd scan!
You were smarter than me! I shopped at CVS today, got the coupon, but assumed the price would be high so didn’t even go and check. I missed a good deal there!

Just wanted to add, that you can scan your card more than once (usually it will let you scan it twice before saying to check back tomorrow). I got this coupon on the second scan.

Wow……I don’t shop CVS much because we only have 1 in our area and it’s not close to my home. However, DH loves these. I also have $1/1 tearpad coupons for these…can I use them with the coupon if it prints????
Yes because the ones that print out are store coupons, so you can stack 1 store coupon and 1 MQ!! Free plus overage!

A couple of months back kroger had a cardbord display with a dollar off coupon. I used it with the cvs coupon for a dollar money maker!! Wooo Hooooooo!!
I never get any decent coupons from the machine. I shop at CVS almost every week and buy a variety of items. I cant figure out how others get such great coupons and I dont.
There is also a tear-off coupon that’s on the cooler with Coke products in it. If you buy a 20 oz. and planters product, I believe you get $2 off. If you have a free 20 oz. coke coupon and the tear-off and use in conjunction with the $2.50/1 coupon, this is a money maker! I think I’ll be going back to CVS today.
2 Boxes of Kashi Cereal at $3/piece (Had 2 coupons for $3 off each one item from Recyclebank)
Hand Santizer (had CVS freebie coupon from the RED Machine)
3 Almond King Candy Bars (B2G1 free in store sale)
1 Bag of Planters Nuts (had CVS freebie coupon from the RED Machine)
5 Small Containers of Gillette Shaving Cream at $1.99 each (Had coupons for $2 off one item, so their computer figures the item price and coupon price and scales down the penny)
1 Hydro 5 Razor (rec’d a free coupon in the mail; not sure how I got this)
2 Boxes of Hanukkah / Christmas White Bulbs at $1.29 each
Total was over $31+
Used a $4 off $20 or more total purchases
After CVS coupons and manufacturer coupons…total was $1.92 including the tax.
The great part was that I got a $10 Extra Buck Coupon for next time; spend $20 in Gillette/Schick, etc, get $10. Gotta love the deals this week!
I got the 2.50 off coupon on Sunday and didn’t bother to look LOL!
But after reading these posts, I went back today (Monday) to get some!
First I scanned my card at the machine and out came another coupon!
My hubby met me there with my mom and they scanned their card at the machine and each got a coupon!
The best part was, while we were all standing around the peanuts debating about which ones would taste better, the manager walked by and said he liked the plain ones in the jar.
I said that they weren’t the ones on the coupon and he told us that we could use them on any Planters!! So hubby and I got the ones (on sale 2/$5.00) that we like in the jar also!
Paid $.07 from my $30 free gift card 🙂 for mine and treated my hubby and mom for theirs.
I’m so nice 🙂 LOL!
I got the coupon from the machine but the store doesn’t sell the Flavor Grove Almonds. The cashiers both said they had never seen them. They didn’t offer to let me use the coupon on something else. I guess I should call corporate and find out what the deal is, but not sure of the right number to call.
maybe try another store? or see if a krogers or something nearby will honor it?

I got the Red machine to spit out the coupon on my 2nd swipe. My CVS told me I won’t be able to get the sale price (2/$5) if I only purchased one bag, so I didn’t even try. I’m going to try again today & see if it spits out another coupon & also stack it with a MC to get overage. Maybe the cashier was just making it up. 🙁
@ Christina, the cashier didn’t know what (s)he was talking about. I’ve gotten one package twice and it rang up $2.50 each time, it was the only thing I bought, paid nothing. Both cashiers (different stores) commented that it was a good deal.
There are some things at CVS now, though, where it’s a higher price if it’s only one, so it’s possible the cashier didn’t make up the concept, but applied it to the wrong product. You could say, well, let’s try it anyway and see what happens …
She was wrong – if the tag is yellow and BLUE, that is when you have to buy the amount specified.
I got the last package on the shelf today. YEAH and when I swiped my card it spit out a $5 off $30 Q for me. I have to go back tomorrow to pick up a prescription which I will be using a $25 gift card from a new prescription which I received from the Magic Red Machine. YEAH

i got a raincheck they were out it near me so i went to another one they had it. anyways i’m going on monday to get 2 more and use the 2.50 off coupon and buy a 20oz coke and save $1 off with the MC tear off pad at CVS so I’ll be paying less thanks(:

so you get the soda for only less than $1:)
i’m hoping i still can get this deal by using the raincheck! hopefully the cashier won’t put it as “Taxable Item” then the coupons wouldn’t work:(
