UPDATE: Sold Out!

Graveyard Mall is once again offering their mystery boxes and this time they will be filled with many of their most popular items from 2010 for only $19.99! As always, if you are not happy with the mystery box, you can return it to Graveyard Mall at their expense and they will even refund your original shipping charge (so you really have nothing to lose!). These Mystery Boxes are set to ship on either January 17th, 24th, or 31st and are limited to only one box per household. Be sure to order yours now as the quantities are limited.

Keep in mind that you will want to share a little about yourself and/or your family with Graveyard Mall, so that they can better create your mystery box. In the Order Instructions/Comment Section at checkout, be sure to include things like age, sex, clothing size, hobbies, things you like, things you don’t like, if you have a pet etc.

Graveyard Mall offered these same sort of mystery boxes several times in the past few months and I’ve received many positive responses from Hip2Save readers. However, that’s not to say I haven’t received a few emails from readers who were not happy with the boxes. The great thing, though, is whether you like what’s in the box or not, you can always opt for a refund to get 100% of your money back!

Ohhh…I wouldn’t reccomend these at all. I ordered one (a non-Christmas one) before and it was awful! It was like someone used a shovel to scrape up garbage from a dollar-store dumpster and throw it in a box. Things were broken, taped together, discolored, scratched and otherwise useless. :(

  • dawnbankston says:

i received at christmas time was nothing but junk sent back and still waiting to have my money refund what a joke to me no good deal, i could go to dollar store everything a dollar and get a better buy.

Guess it doesn’t matter now…”sold out”!

  • Deb says:

In my opinion I would never waste my money on this junk.

  • Michelle says:

I purchased the christmas box. I was not terribly disappointed. Some things were pretty nice and I was able to gift them. Here are SOME of the items i received.

A wind up musical tree with snowmen dancing around it, fleece blanket, first and ten series dvd, 5 different cheese plates in sets of four, 2 sports ball click lights, 2 packs of wine corks for a system that I don’t even have, norman rockwell santa photo framesome chocolate snowballs and santas, a cherry candle in a jar, 3 very large kind of cute candy dishes, christmas cd, and a few other odds and ends. I would not reccomend this box, but did not HATE it entirely

    • michelle says:

I basically got EXACTLY what you did! I gave the sport click lights to the little boys in our family, and the plates I used for a cookie swap, the picture frame came in handy as a MIL gift…. other than that, it wasn’t worth it. I was so excited when I saw photos of what people had received last year~ but there was not much I could use. It was fun when it showed up on my door though!

    • annette says:

      michelle,

Sounds like you got almost the same box as I did. It was a bunch of ****. Everything in there I could have got at a discount store. You mentioned the cheese plates, I got 4 x-mas sets. What is anyone going to do with 4 cheese x-mas sets!!!

  • Heather says:

Agree, I got the Christmas box, Items were broken and cheap. Not packaged well at all. :(

  • Melissa D says:

I got the Christmas box too… it was a bunch of junk mixed with two rolls of wrapping paper to make it “Christmasey”. My boyfriend was really mad when he saw my purchase too… won’t be buying that again!

  • Bill says:

I always have a lot of fun with these boxes. The Christmas one, for example, I used all the little plates I received as Christmas gifts for co-workers. I make cookies and cake balls, put them on a plate and wrapped it in saran wrap, everyone loved them! Some stuff was weird, like a duster you put on the end of a broom, but everything I received was totally unharmed. I live pretty close to where its packed, so maybe that’s why? If you have some extra cash from saving so much money on this great site, give it a try next time!

  • heather says:

I got a Christmas one, it was pretty bad. However, I emailed them and they sent me a prepaid return label. They even credited me before I even shipped it back!! I had a great customer service experience with them, but didn’t like my box at all.

  • Ashley says:

I ordered the Christmas Box and it was all usless JUNK! I couldnt use any of it.
They sent me some book. 4 push lights. 4 Ornaments some Dvd set. Back from the 80,s. A a few other Christmas trinkets. And something I never could figure out what it was used for and it took up the hole box, I will never in my life order from the again! I didnt send it back as it was more trouble to do so!

  • Gina says:

I also ordered the Christmas box. I’ve seen better quality at the dollar store. There wasn’t one item I wanted to keep. Some of it was even broken.

  • Dori S says:

I ordered one back in Sept and ended up sending it back because it was nothing but JUNK!! Thought it might be good because of all the hype but was greatly dissappointed. It seems they send you all the left over stuff they are unable to sell or that nobody wants. I could buy the same CRAP at a dollar store with less hassel. I was refunded for the box once I sent it back. I would not recommend purchasing one of the these mystery boxes unless you want to give it as a joke!!!

  • Kathy H. says:

I ordered the Christmas box. HUGE mistake!!!!! I got a box of junk. I have tried to call them on multiple occassions and they are never available to answer the phone. The answering machine will gladly take your message but don’t ever expect a return call. They are absolutely the shadiest company and I will never do business with them again. That was a 26.00 lesson I will never forget.

  • Kelley says:

I’m a little taken aback by the amount of people who seem to totally hate these boxes. I just ordered the oversized box for Jan 31st, and it will be my third box from these guys (including the Christmas one). Don’t get me wrong, this is not insanely high quality exciting stuff and some (but definitely not all) does seem to be Dollar Store quality, but there has always been a good mix of stuff. Several things in the boxes did make it into my home (coasters, a clock, etc) but where it came in handy was for gift baskets and such for my little girls school auction and Christmas time. I use thee boxes for a misc stockpile for hostess gifts, last min thinking of you momentos etc… They can definitely be worth it, it just depends on what you’re planning to do with them.

  • Boo Boo says:

My Christmas box was so awful. I got nothing usable in my box. No wrapping paper, no fleece blanket, no kids stuff at all, I did get that Delta Burke dvd series that I never heard of – First and Ten. And a Giant ceramic cross with pink roses on it. I sent it back. I never checked if Igot my money refunded though.

  • annette says:

Me again-IF anyone has any ideas what to do with these 4 sets of little x-mas plates as I call them, let me know!!!

  • asianphuc says:

I just ordered the box for JAN 17′TH, and received it today on Jan 21. I have to say i am VERY impressed. I was expecting some useless junk, but with a 100% money back guarantee, what do i have lose?
I ended up getting a neon bleu (not a typo) underbody kit. Now once i figure out how to install these babys im going to own the streets of bolsa!

    Kudos graveyardmall!

Got my box while I was out of town over the weekend and thoguht it was pretty good overall- I did give them a fair amount of info in my comment. Got 3 tanks with lace trim in nice bright colors; a ton of befine face care products(that get good reviews overall), some obeyyourbody lotions, 3 pairs of sunglasses, dog rawhide bones, a couple small notepads in enclosing canvas? folders, and a couple other random things. Not bad for the price IMHO and kinda fun to go through

  • lynne says:

Got my box today and it was certainly worth $20

Two LEATHER purses/clutch, I’ll definitely use
scotch pop up tape and 2 dispensers
    three hole punch
plastic wilson jones organizer and files
    canvas 13 pocket expanding file
    two portfolios (5×8)
5 pc Dorm Kit (Kmart) —closet organizers, shoe holder, laundry bag, organizers
    two USB battery rechargers
four lamp rings and fragrance oils (put under light bulb and oil is diffused into room)
Box set hanging metal clock and a thermometer (was worried it would be ugly, not too bad)
three 8oz bottles “obey your body lotion”
    two “BeFine” night cream
    two “befine” exfoliating cleanser
    two “befine” warming clay mask
two ifectiguard hand sanitizer on carabiner

I got the January 17th box as well, I liked what was in it but I just opened my cc statement and they charged me for 3 boxes. I can not get anyone on the phone there to get this problem fixed I sent an email so we will see if they get back to me to fix this. The customer service is so bad at this company

    • We have been closed much of the week due to the severe blizzard in the midwest, but customer service was open today and hopefully got back to you. Did you email: customerservice@graveyardmall.com? Our normal (non-blizzard) hours are M-F 8am to 3:30 pm central time. If we did not make contact with you and you did not email that customer service address, please try it again and I’m sure we will follow up quickly during office hours.

Ok, I FINALLY got my HUGE Mystery Box from Graveyard Mall. I chose to do the bulky one which ended up costing $35 total (shipping was more, but it was 38.4#!) I am completely thrilled with stash! I told them about our family…basically just that I had a hubby, 8yo boy, 2 yo boy and 3 mo girl, that we like to be out doors and play games, cook, clean (gasp!) etc. This is what they sent. (mind you looked for prices via Amazon with the exception of the diaper bag b/c they didn’t have any left-no price) MSRP $691.49, paid $35!!! I would never pay that for any of it, but even at 75% off it comes out to $172.87!
    Huge box:
3 Cars pop up laundry hampers (msrp $24.95) (My DS2 loves cars…how perfect is that?!? Serously…who would pay that for one?)
3 Pillow Pets-lady bug, unicorn, panda bear msrp $23.97)
2 green long sleeved shirts-in the right size for my hubby too!
2 plain hats-perfect for doing work/remodeling around the house…which I am doing a lot of
Leather Tri-fold Wallet with key chain and 10 min personal recorder (Has price tag on it of $36)-hubby’s just broke on him-talk about perfect timing! (and he could use the voice recorder-he’s got an awful memory)
LifeStyle Number Nine 10 DVD Boxed Set-Traveling Culinary Recipe Box Set (msrp $10)-curious to see how this is…I love to cook
    Trivial Pursuit Family (Msrp $29.99)-woohoo!
Original Memory Game in a commemorative tin. (msrp$14.99) DS2’s not quite grasping it, but he is having fun telling me what all the pictures are. 
2- Infeciguard instant hand sanitizer (msrp $3) what mom can’t use that?!?
2-Kikkerland USB Battery recharger (Msrp $15, but Amazon has them for $6) I’m sure we could use these
4-Befine Night Cream With Cocoa Millet & Rice Bran 1.7 oz. (msrp $18.99)-
2- Warming Clay Mask with Cardamom, Arnica and Pomegra Befine 5 oz Treatment
    (Msrp $25.29)
2- Be Fine Exfoliating Cleanser 4 Ounces
(Msrp $20.19) ***Are these Be Fine products seriously that $$$? Guess I know what I will be using them for-gifts!
Rivers Edge Products western “welcome” plaque (msrp $15.29)-guess that’ll go on our camper ;)
Serendipity “Brother’s Keeper” 399 Piece Puzzle with small and large piece sizes creating fun for the entire family. (msrp $12.99) I sence a game night tonight once the wee ones are in bed! It’s really a cool puzzle.

2 small candles-sea breeze (can’t really smell it) and silk vanilla (mmmmm)
A veggie slicer (kinda like a Zyess…will be a gift, I have one already)
A small travel iron….the smallest one I have ever seen!
Pig Baby Buddies Blanket by Ganz (msrp $24.95) It’s really cute! DD will love it eventually, or perfect for my preggo friends!
Korbie 3-in1 Diaper Bag ($149.99 on their site, found elsewhere for $80) (I loved this-I bought it when it was about $35 on GraveyardMall a while ago) –CL, gift we’ll see…

Needless to say, I will totally do this again. I have heard others complain, but I think putting my interests/family info in the comments box made a BIG difference. Hope you all try it. 

Received my mystery box today and was very disappointed. This was my first mystery box and I was so excited when I opened it, only to find 4 salt and pepper shakers, a toothpickdispenser, salad dressing mixer, cherrypitter, butterknife, and a grater. The only nice thing was a silicone ovenmitt, but that won’t be worth the $28 total cost. I will definetely send this one back.
