  1. Shannon

Good week at CVS! Hope they have everything I need for the deals….

  2. Ashley

My Mother in law went to the CVS in Liberty, MO before noon today and they were out of dishwasher tabs….. She talked to the manager and he said that “Some woman with coupons came in at midnight and bought all 60 some boxes he had stocked!” And there is where couponers get bad names!

*Oh well glad she got rain checks!

    • Eunsil

Oh my gosh, what on earth would someone wants to stock that much, 60 bottles? 😮 I’m glad your mother-in-law could get that rain checks…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That makes me mad…so it wasnt even worth the time, gas, and effort you went through because someone greedy decided that no one else needed some of that product. How insane!!!! Sorry you went through that.

    • Christen Rodriguez

I know, right!? That’s just ridiculous! I called my store to ask how many that had, and the manager said they had a lot. I wanted to purchase 7, but I had other scenarios planned out if it meant I had to buy all of the product on the shelf or there weren’t enough to even get a decent amount. To my surprise there was A LOT! I was able to get all 7 while leaving A LOT left on the shelf! People are so greedy and ridiculous – that’s just sad!

      • hislady

I thought having the ECB card eliminated that??

        • Lane

I’m sure she only got $10 ECB on the first 7 boxes (unless she used multiple cards), but $.75 per box is still such a great price that I guess she didn’t mind. Not nice.

I ended up getting a rain check, too.

    • katestersue

      Just a side comment here:

My dishwasher repairman said you shouldn’t keep a large stock of dishwasher detergent because it is biodegradable and doesn’t last that long. He said I should only keep a back stock of about 2-months worth. My own experience has shown this to be true.

    • Anonymous

If you have a Publix close, they have the tabs for $3.00 this week. You won’t get your rewards, but you will get the $0.75 deal per box.

  3. maria

silly question,,,,,im new at ECB I have a $7 ECB- If I use it and not spend the whole thing- do they give me the left over ECB on another receipt?

    • Ada - Lovin Him

Sorry Maria but no – you’ll lose whatever part of the ECB you don’t spend in one transaction

      • Eunsil

Maria, no question is silly! 🙂 I didn’t know that either…so I must spend all Ecb in one transaction..

  4. melissa

I went last night and bought 2 maalox at 6.29 and 1 benefiber at 7.29 for a total of 19.87 and my $10 EB printed. Also the coupon machine printed a $2/1 any maalox or gas-x (awesome!). Also, I had printed 4 $1/2 cottonelle moist wipes tubs coupons and I actually bought 5 tubs and 3 refills and the coupons scanned just fine (they were out of more tubs and they actually have the same amount in them). And I got the .50/1 Dove coupon out of the coupon machine so that was a moneymaker also!

  5. bETH

I have a question about the IZZE’s(I’m new to couponing so I would appreciate your help. I have printed out 6 Izze coupons(we have several computers in my home as my boyfriend in a programer), but my coupons say “One per purchase”. I was reading the comments above and someone asked about using 7 coupons and the replys were in the affirmative. Does the one per purchase mean one coupon per 4-pack purchased? I thought it would mean one per transaction. Or does it not matter?

    • Shannon

A purchase and a transaction are two different terms. When you buy 1 pack, you have one 1 purchase and can use one coupon; when you buy 7 packs, you have 7 purchases and can use 7 coupons. If the coupon said “limit one per transaction” then you are correct about only using one coupon. Hope that helps! Congrats on couponing! 🙂

      • bETH

Thank you so much, that changes how I can coupon. I had always thought the opposite and have missed out on deals. Thanks for the info!

  6. Candace

why can i not find the $5/1 maalox coupon in my paper? 🙁

  7. Michelle

I just got back from CVS and I am on a high!! Got 7 Finish tabs for $7 (used a $10 ECB from the Excedrin), got the money maker Dove bar, and then got six 12 packs of Pepsi (with the $10 ECB from the Finish) and got a $10 ECB only paid $17 for all!! Woohoo!! I was just about out of dishwasher tabs too. Awesome! Thanks for everything Collin!!!!

  8. Kathy

    Two questions:

    1) My receipt says “Quantity toward this reward 1; Quantity needed to earn reward 1” for my All detergent. Since it doesn’t say “Offer limit reached,” does this mean I can do the deal again? Anyone else finding the ALL is a limit of 2?

    2) My receipt says that I’ve spent 19.95 toward the Pepsi reward. I actually bought 8 bags of chips and spent $20 (not 19.95). I got a $10 reward (470120015) for the chips. Do I dare go back and try to buy one more thing since my receipt says I’ve only spent $19.95 toward the $20, get $10 deal? Is that even right if I didn’t get $40 worth of stuff? I’ve never seen that…

    • Andrea

1). I think that means the limit is more than 1 although I haven’t tried it
2). No, that means that your $10 ECB triggered at $19.95. Sometimes they give you a few cents leeway on those types of deals, especially if they price things at $X.99.

      • Kathy

        Thank you!

  9. Dana

Went to CVS today and the cheapest maalox they had was 6.29, so it wasn’t quite the deal I was expecting…I bought 4 and paid 5.16 and got back $10, then used the $10.00 toward the scott deal. I had a $4.00 ECB left over from last week too, so i ended up spending 16.00 out of pocket for everything and have a $10.00 ECB left over! Still a pretty good deal for 4 maalox’s, 1 toilet paper, 1 paper towel and 3 wipes!

  10. Beth

Anybody out there got any extra Maalox coupons you want to send my way? I may have something you need in return 😉

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I might, where are you?

  11. lacymarie21

Okay I have a important question! 🙂 If a store is having a B1G1 50% sale and you have a B1G1 Q, what am I going to be paying? & Will I be able to use a “$” off Q and a B1G1 Q at the same time?

  12. Collin

Wow I absolutely love my new coat rack!! Perfect for this weather right now…when all my friends come over, they now have something to hang their coat on! Woop! Woop! Oh and by golly is it cute!

    • LEIGH ANNE

haha! How weird is it that CVS is selling a coat rack? Even weirder they were selling a laptop at Christmas time. 🙂

  13. bETH

Is anyone else finding that there is only one flavor for the Izzie deal? I can only find clemintine, but I was hoping for a variety and I am out of store to check. Is this only in my area?

    • Theresa

There’s Black Cherry too. I bought two of those today (even though they didn’t take my coupons for them).

  14. Theresa

I just got back from my local CVS in Frederick, MD. The cashier wouldn’t take my Izze coupons because they were Smart Source coupons. She said that CVS doesn’t accept Smart Source coupons anymore due to fraud issues. Anyone else have a hard time using Smart Source coupons at CVS?

    • imaurora1

Happened to me right before Thanksgiving. They told me they had been told to call the cops. They know me and knew my coupon wasn’t fake, but I think that is their new policy.

      • Krista

Call the cops?! Really? Over a coupon? Like the cops don’t have anything better to do.

I don’t think I’ve used a Smart Source coupon recently at CVS, but if they ever threaten to call the cops on me for using a legit coupon, I’d say “go ahead”.

      • shannon

strange i used mine yesterday at cvs and nobody said a word

  15. Denise

Buy $30 of L’oreal hair color, get $10 EB’s. I helped my mom with a transaction. She got five L’oreal Preference hair color at $6 each. We used the 10% off beauty club coupon, five $3 off coupons, plus a few Extra Bucks = paid $10.67 and got $10 Extra Bucks back. Awesome!

  16. Betty

Im so excited! I had a great trip at CVS tonight! I dont usually post all this but Im so happy I wanted to share all my deals!
    I did this:
    3x Lysol Neutra Air Starter Kit – 18 – 3x 4/1q (printable) = 6
    2x Finish 20ct Tabs – 6 – 2x 2.25/1mq = 1.50
    2x Gas X Prevention 20ct – 12.48 – 2x 4/1mq = 4.48
    2x Maalox 12oz – 12.48 -2x 5/1mq = 2.48
    1x 8ct Excedrin – .99 – 1/1mq (smartsource.com) = FREE
    1x Dove Chocolate bar .89 – .50/1cvsq = .39
    1x Reese’s Minis 1.59 = 1.59
    Total: 16.44 + tax
    used 16 ECBs + 2.77oop got back 22.48 ECB

    1 Cottonelle Wipes – 2
    1x 24pack Scott Tissue – 10
    1x 10pack Scott Paper towels -10
    1x Kleenex 3pack – 3
    Total 25.00 + tax
Used 25.89 ECB I dont know why it let me use ECBs on tax tho = 0.80 oop. And got back 10 ECBs.
Oh! and I forgot to use my 2x 1/1 Scott qs and .50/1 Kleenex q till right after I paid, and the cashier actually took them and gave me 2.50 Cash!

So total I spent 1.07oop and 10 ECBs for EVERYTHING!! and I still have 15.89ECB to spend next time 😀

my boyfriend and my roommate both drink a TON of pop so we got 12x 12 packs of mountain dew for $22.70 after tax and ECBs (0.16 a can!) which is awesome because they spend soooo much more than that normally.

I also got 7 toothbrushes, 10 softsoap handsoap, 10 Yakisoba noodles, and 4 protien bars all for 1.87 at Kroger.
2 smart balance milk, 2 french’s mustard, 2 franks red hot sauce, and 5 bestlife buttery spread for .26 cents total at Meijer tonight. I had a really great night of savings! So much fun!
These last 2 weeks have been really awesome couponing for me! I needed it since I was out of the country for 4 months so both my couponing cravings and house needs are starting to get back to normal. Thanks for everything!

    • Shelly T.

      Great shopping trip!!!

    • shannon

so you did the pepsi deal twice then and got the ecb’s both times?? i wanna go get more 2 liters but i’m afraid it wont print me another one

  17. Amber

I just found a $2 off scott t.p. coupon at their website, Scottbrand.com That will work for this week’s deal on Scott/Kleenex/Cottonelle!!

    • Anonymous

      Sweet!

  18. Anne

Went to Scott paper products website to see if I could get coupons to sweeten the deal:
    https://www.scottbrand.com/community/savings/scott
Got $2 Q off paper towels or toilet paper; able to print twice. Also fill out form after purchase and able to get another coupon for $2 via email.

    • Latasha

I’m reading that coupon as you get two dollars off when you buy an 8 pack or larger of toilet paper AND four rolls of paper towels. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s how I read it.

      • Amber

Yes it says and so you can only use 1 coupon if you buy paper towels and TP

  19. Shelly T.

Thanks so much Amber and Anne for the $2.00 Scott coupon link!!

  20. Judith

Question: IF CVS is advertising 12-packs of Pepsi 3/$10, does that mean they are $3.33 each or do I have to buy 3 to get the deal? I’m asking because I’d like to take advantage of the $10 ECB on select products so I’d buy a mix of 2-liters and 12-packs to get to that $20 but I don’t want to go way over. Thanks!

    • Shayla

They ring up $3.34 or $3.33 each after card is scanned. By the way, Dr. Pepper IS included in deal =)

      • Judith

Awesome thank you so much! The hubby LOVES Dr. Pepper so he’ll be very happy about that :o)

  21. Ali

Just letting everyone know, I was at my local CVS this morning and was looking at make-up and noticed that ALOT was marked down 75% (I had to dig :)). Most of it was Physicians Formula and Covergirl. The Covergirl products were ringing up anywhere from .94c to $2.54. Some of you may still have the Covergirl coupons from a few weeks ago, which should get some FREE makeup for you! Also, there were several other random things in the store (lotion, body wash, etc), 75% off, I asked an employee who told me they were just making room for the new stuff. So with some careful coupon matching, you could score some sweet deals on DOVE products, VIVE, etc! Hopefully your local CVS has these great deals!

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am looking for the wisk coupon need five of them I have a rain check but not coupons any one want to trade ? thanks

  23. Christina

I just went to CVS to get Ensure for my MIL. The computer would not let me buy 3 4-packs and use a B2G1 coupon and 2 $3 off coupons. The cashier said CVS is changing policies and are not accepting as many coupons. Anyone else have this happen?

    • john

Here is what I found at CVS, hand over your coupons like this $ off, Bogo, $ off Bogo. I had the same thing happen to me this past weekend and this made it through fine for me. Also, Some stores are different in the way the systems apply bog and $ off coupons. I think Walgreens is the opposite of CVS, Bogo then $ off.

  24. l morocco

Just got back from CVS to do the Scott deal….. I had the 2 $2.00 off scott products and the cashier would only take one. She was stuck on the one per transaction deal.. she did ring them up seperatley– really not sure why this mattered, but then my whole ECB deal was off, I had 2 $10 to spend and now could not use one on the 2nd ( less than $10) so had more money out of pocket…. you win some you lose some…. on another note, I did get from the machine a coupon for a free cottennell wipe with the purchase of a U by Kotex. in hind site I should have bought a pack of these and got the wipes free.. b ut it is hard to do inpromptu deals for me with a 3 year old in toe and trying to make changes to a deal because they are out of of something already…. ahhhhh just breath……

  25. Deb T

Two questions – Isn’t there a limit of 3 like coupons at CVS? How did that lady buy so many?? Also, does anyone know if it states there is a limit of one ECB, like on the pepsi this week (even though it is giving 2) when they have it on sale again next week does it start over or are we already maxed on that promo? I just read CVS is having the same sale on pepsi again. Thanks

    • Michelle

I just got back from buying 7 boxes of Finish Power tabs, and used 7 coupons, plus ECB on the deal. So perhaps the coupon limit is regional?

It may be a little late for this, but I bought the Cottonelle wipes only at CVS (the CVS closer to my house was out). A $3-off an 18 pack of Cottonelle coupon printed w/ my receipt, which I was going to buy anyways at the CVS closer to my house (I was walking). I don’t know if this coupon is printing regularly w/ purchase of the wipes alone, but if you’re looking to buy both the wipes and the toilet paper, it might be worth a shot to see if you can get it.
