Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink. (Thanks, Rose Knows Coupons!)

I looked in the 11/7 rp and they didn’t have any tylenol coupons but I did find $1.oo off any stayfree product that doesn’t expire until 1/31/11. You can use it towards getting your free stayfree maxi pads 🙂

  2. Tiffany

If ANYONE has the FREE breath right catalina from last week and wants to get rid of it, please let me know at jhtcowboys@aol.com. I went to wags and they were out of the kids med so there was no chance of me getting the breathe right. My husband snores bigtime and he uses those EVERY NIGHT. I am willing to pay. Thank you for your time.

    • Jennifer King

      Sent you an email.

    • rachel

it prints on the sunex too

    • meredith

just sent you an email 🙂

    • FIFSTER

It printed for me when I only did the 5 ea. nature valley deal, but I already redeemed mine, sorry.

  3. Teresa Lippy

BTW the Rembrandt whitening kit is not $9.99. It is $9.99 off the price of $25.99 making it $16. Then if you use the coupon above it will be $11. Still a pretty good deal, but not as good as $4 would have been.

    • elaine

It doesn’t say “$9.99 off” in my ad, just “$9.99, limit 3”. Is it a misprint?

      • elaine

I just got it tonight and it is indeed $9.99, so $4.99 after coupon – not “$9.99 off”.

        • Teresa Lippy

My husband went today and when the cashier scanned the $9.99 coupon for the Rembrandt it said $9.99 off. He told the cashier that it was suppose to be $9.99 and she said no that is not how the coupon is scanning. I guess I will have to go back and try with a different cashier.

  4. Lindsey G

in case anyone is wanting the Oscar Mayer Bacon. There was a $1/2 MQ that expires 1/22/11 you can use this week to sweeten the deal.
    Oscar Mayer bacon 16 oz 2/$8 = $1 RR
    Pay $8
    Get back $1 RR
    Final cost $3.50 each!
So I think you would pay $7 get $1RR back making it $3.00 each. I am not sure where it came from but I printed it about 2 weeks ago with a TQ so I bet its link it back a couple of weeks on Target weekly deals.

Thanks, Collin for all your work for us!

  5. Carla

Springfield MO and KC MO papers…no Stayfree BOGO…so sad. It’s not listed in the list for this weeks coupons either….What areas are getting this BOGO coupon for the larger sizes?

    • Nicole Z.

No Stayfree BOGO in the Austin American Statesman either. Boo!

      • Carla

Oh my goodness, my mistake, I overlooked that there are actually TWO Smartsource inserts in my paper…and no redplum….and it is in there afterall…yay!

        • Nicole Z.

I have two SS inserts, but it’s not in either one. Which SS has the coupon, the one with the Ken’s salad dressing on the cover or the other one? What else is on the page? Thanks!

          • Stacey

@Carla…no RP in my KC Star either. There are a few of us that are emailing the person in charge of circulation at the Star about the consistent lack of inserts in the papers we get here in SW MO. His email is kbatrick@kcstar.com if you’re interested. I can’t remember his first name, but his last name is Batrick.

    • jill

I had the BOGO in MD but it worked out to $3 instead of free, used all 3 coupons but WAGS coupon (which I did last) only took $3 off not $6. Still an OK price and not worth undoing. Cashier was super nice. I think that’s just the way it was set up in the register at my store. I’ve noticed that while my deals at Rite Aid and CVS tend to match price-wise with hip2save, My Walgreen’s deal prices tend to vary — sometimes cheaper, sometimes more. Ah such is life.

    • Danielle

I got the St. Joseph Mo paper (kc was all gone 🙁 ) and I only had one red plum and one SS so no B1G1 Q for me 🙁

  6. Lisa

I know that coupons can be regional but this is week 2 of not getting a smart source 🙁 If anyone has any b1g1 stayfree coupons they aren’t using I would appreciate if you would send them my way. I volunteer my time working with teenage girls and know that several of their families are financially struggling and was going to pick them up for them. I have enough $1.00 off coupons for 5 sets but don’t have the b1g1 coupons to finish the deal.

    • Anonymous

Email me your address and I will send 2 that I am not using. nickel7@gmail.com

    • elaine

  8. Jen

Huge thanks for having this thread. Was able to score pretty good today.

Had a very nice checkout lady , she even told me that she wasn’t supposed to take a Wag’s coupon and a manufacture’s coupon. She said the best way to do that is use the manufacture’s coupon first then the wag’s coupon.

Started out with 9.00 RR ~ then just rolled the rest of the RR to take advantage of the best deal.

2 hours later cause I didn’t have a back up plan so had to plan different and that takes bit. They didn’t have the Throat Spray for 3.98 was like 4.80 something.

Bought 2 Touch Soap things , 4 Special K cereals , 2 Raisin brand cereals , 2 Shaving creams , 2 Pens , 2 mechanical pencils , 3 orbit gum , 1 Anniversary UNO , 1 (22 count) carefree , 6 packages of Stayfree pads . 2 buy one get one free jerky , 2 razors (both of my packages came with 2 free ones) , 6 pkg of Jergens bar soap all for around 24.00 out of my pocket plus have 6 RR to go back and buy more stuff.

Again huge thanks for having this site , sure have learned so much and saved so much too..

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Where are the Reservetrol Dots located in the store?

    • Candy

I couldn’t find them any where …they were so busy I couldn’t ask anyone. 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

mine have all been on a top shelf in the middle of the vitamins. There should be some other brand reservatrol products there too. One of my stores did not have the twin lab. most of mine were higher priced (not free after Q) and only 1 store had them at $9.99 and they had only 2. bought both and waiting for restock. Just look for reservatrol of any brand and then look for the twin labs. It is a short small bottle. HTH

    • Angelia

Mine were on the top shelf at the end of the vitamins behind a sale sign for something else. I had to ask.

    • elaine

Both myself and a Wags employee looked all over for them but couldn’t find them. She was very apologetic but I told her no biggie. We didn’t see anything Twin Labs. Trying Wags#2 tomorrow and see if they have it.

  10. Terri

I am fairly new to couponing..I wanted to ask you “professional” savers about the things i’ve seen about using 2- $2/1 or things of that nature..when you are printing these do you increase your # to 2 copies? OR do you go back and print it again? Also I waste paper when only 1 coupon prints out or 2 on a page. Any suggestions on how to go around this? THANKS =)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

you can’t set your print to 2 when it comes from a coupon company, it is automatic. What I do is after it prints I flip the paper over and use the bottom 1/2 for the next print. You have to hit your back button to get the second print. If the coupons come from coupons.com or the like, then you can select 3 coupons you would like to print and they most often will all print on one page using the whole page. However sometimes they throw in an ad and throws it all off. 🙁 (If it is a pdf coupon then you can print as many as you would like and I print 1/2 the amount then I flip the paper over and set it to print the other 1/2 of the amount I wanted.)
I also reuse paper. By this I mean I take junk mail that only has printing on one side and print my coupons on the other side. What do I care if it has writing on the back? Also we use the pages from our HOA board packages to print on the back side. I almost NEVER use a fresh sheet of paper for coupons. I leave the real stuff for other printing where it matters. 😉

Terri hit the back button a couple of times until it prints again or sometimes when it’s not a printable we are assuming you bought multiple papers. If you only bought 1 paper and it’s not a printable you won’t be able to do the 2 $1.50 coupons or whatever the scenario is. I hope I answered your question…Use the back of the paper you printed on after you clipped the coupon and reuse it to print again so you don’t waste paper.

    • Steph

I cut the remainder of the sheet of paper into smaller pieces (like 4×6 or so) and use for writing To Do lists, notes to my hubby, grocery lists etc.

Here is what I did today to stock up on Vitamins and breakfast bars:

    Transaction 1: Buy 1 Children’s Vitamin – $5 – Get $5 RR
Transaction 2: Buy 5 Nature Valley/Fiber One Bars $2 each – use as 5 $.50 coupons total will be $7.50. Pay with $5 RR from vitamins and $2.50 cash, get back a $3.50 catalina. (note if you have 5 $.50 coupons you will need a small filler item to make up for their crazy policy.)
    Transaction 3: 1 Childrens vitamin – use $3.50 Catalina from above – pay $1.50 + Tax – get back $5 RR.

Repeat transactions 2 and 3 as many times as you like!

Purchased 9 tubes of Colgate at $1 each. Had 9 coupons = FREE
2 packs of Stayfree = B1G1 with in ad $6/2 coupon and $1 manuf coupon
    4 packs of Orbit = B1G1 coupon with in ad $.69 coupon….
Total was .57 cent, but I had to pay $1.20 in tax so my overall total was $1.77 …

Dear son is going to a sweet 16 b-day party where they have asked, no gifts, just items for foodshare; so the toothpaste from Wags and my 8 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal from RA are all being donated.

  13. Jess Miller

Collin! Beef jerky is so expensive yet so easy to make! Get a cheap dehydrator lady! 🙂

    • Jen

My kids eat it faster than I can dehydrate it, tray by tray! 🙂

The sunday paper ad for Walgreens for 1\9 on the back page list the Deerfield pistachios and walgreens brand mixed nuts on sale for 2.99. I went to the store today and noticed the ad shows a picture of the Wonderful brand 16oz bag and the Walgreens brand mixed nuts on sale. In the description it says 6-11oz. is what is on sale. I asked the sales associate to check on this because the picture shown does not match the ad. As she was asking the manager another customer was in the same aisle wondering the same thing. She came back and told me that it was a misprint and she could give me the 16oz bags for 2.99. So I got 4 LARGE bags of very expensive pistachios that are regularly priced 7.49 EACH…for 2.99 EACH!!!!!

    • Abby

There’s a coupon in the 11/21 SS for $1 off to sweeten this.

  15. Ellikate

How do you find the monthly RR deals?

  16. Erica W.

Question about this deal scenario: Is the $16.99 a sale price, because at my Wags they are ringing up at $19.99…
    K-Y Yours+Mine Couples Lubricants 2 pack $16.99
Use the $5/1 Walgreens in ad coupon
Plus, stack with the $5/1 coupon found in the December issue of All You mag. or here
    Final cost $6.99!
    (Thanks, Christy!)

Just wanted to let you know that 2 of my walgreens had the reach total on sale or clearance for 2.59 or 2.99 (the ones with the blue floss in them)

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just a question the lady a walgreens took the 3 off for the stayfree and scan the buy one get one free for 3.79 I ask her why I had to pay that much she told me that thas they way they need to do it I am all confused is this is right?

    • Leisa

did you pay for you stayfree?

    • Erin

When I was reading this I was thinking it wouldn’t work right because we have clipless coupons so as soon as you run your card through the $3 is going to come off immediately so the cashier would likely discount the $3.49 or whatever off for the free one not giving you the entire $6 off for the coupon 🙁

  19. jane

I had no problem with the stayfree but the reach toothbrushes issues issues. Not all total care are ringing up with the coupon. Had a really nice manager manually fix it just another day at WAGS.

  21. Kimberly Harris

  22. Ali

Ladies, I have a question! I am a religious CVS and RiteAid shopper on Saturdays and Sundays, however I have never used Walgreens because there is not one near me. This week however, I have way to many coupons for their sale items to pass up so Im going to make the drive to the nearest one, however, their in ad coupons are a little confusing to me the way they are worded. Say for instance the in ad coupon says “limit 3” .. is that the limit on the item period, or is that how many of the in-ad coupons can be used combined with your man. coupons?

    • Sarah Marturano

That is the limit on the number of items you can buy. You only need to use one coupon and it will deduct for all 3.

      • Ali

        Thank You very much!

        • Michelle

That is per transaction also. At my Wag’s, I just ask the cashier to enter the code for the in-ad coupon and she does… No clipping necessary. Worth a try!

  23. Mary

Coudln’t do the stayfree deal in Milwaukee. They were only going to take of $3.99 each for the free ones and then said I couldn’t use the 2nd $1 off Q. They said it was misuse of the coupons…i didn’t argue but 🙁
