   These don’t seem to be your regular Sears stores… I clicked on the info tab on that FB site, and went to each Sears specialty store that these coupons are valid (Sears Appliance & Hardware Stores, Sears Home Appliance Showrooms, and Sears Hometown Stores) and none are in my area. =( I do have a regular Sears down the street though.

  Good eye – I hadn’t noticed that. I checked MapMuse & it would appear the sears appliance/hardware stores are all pretty much east of Texas…

   This is a different page from the regular Sears FB page (though there is a sweepstakes on the regular Sears page).

   Ok, just checked the website and there are no stores that these coupons qualify for in our area.. I would be spending in gas what I save on the coupon to get to a store in our “area”.. This stinks.. I was so excited.. LOL!

   Sears Hometown Stores are usually in small towns. I live in a rural area in Oregon and it’s where I go to buy our appliances, like dishwashers and washing machines. Ours also has things like TV’s, lawn mowers and tools. It doesn’t carry things like clothes and shoes.

   I know it’s disappointing for a lot of you that don’t have one nearby, but it’s nice to see something that’s actually available to those of us living in rural areas. The nearest “BIG” Sears store is about an hour away from us. We miss out on a lot of “deals” because we have to factor in how much it would cost us in gas and time.

   Great facebook find. I can’t wait to share with my reader Collin! I hope they will take the coupon here in NY where i live? I don’t understand hometown stores, i hope that means every Sears stores around. They have really upgraded there clothes, i find many nice things there the coupon would come in handy for me!!

   Darn, tried to use it at the Sears store here in Ft Wayne, and they couldn’t accept it. Look up your stores location BEFORE you shop to make sure your store is included:)

    These do not work, I tried to use it and was declined by the manager. Since I was spending $600 you would have thought she would have relented, but no.

    My store wouldn’t accept it either..but I had GREAT managment and they over rode it 🙂 Saved 5$ on my $11 purchase!! 🙂 AWESOME management rules!! I even went online and told them that..;) Gotta tell stores when they are doing good too…
