New Valentine's Day Movie Coupons on Coupons.com (Plus, Budget-Friendly Gift Idea!)
This Hip2Save.com Deal was hand-posted on Tuesday, February 1st, 2011 at 6:26 pm.
If you’re still in need of a budget friendly and thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift idea… then you may want to check out this cute idea below. I posted about this gift idea a few months back (as a great teacher’s gift), but thought I would remind you all that you can tweak this gift to make it perfect for Valentine’s Day too!
Coupons.com currently has quite a few new Valentine’s Day/romance movie coupons available. There is a $3 27 Dresses Blu-ray coupon, $3 Ever After DVD or Blu-ray coupon (I’m thinkin’ this will make the DVD very inexpensive), Romeo & Juliet DVD or Blu-ray coupon and lots more! Plus, don’t forget to check out this post here where I highlight a few great Valentine’s Day photo deals and a huge round-up of Valentine’s Day candy coupons.
So basically to change this from a teacher’s gift to a Valentine’s Day gift… first purchase one of the Valentine’s DVDs I posted above or check out Coupons.com for more movie ideas. Next add some candy… preferably chocolate
and make sure to use one of the candy coupons listed in this post to save some money! Now add on a cute Valentine’s Day photo card… you can snag 24 photo cards for $2.49 shipped from SeeHere. Finally, get some red ribbon and tie up your package… then throw on a red bow! And there you have it, an inexpensive yet very thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift!
(Thanks to reader, Suzie, for sharing this awesome idea!)

Amy- I love Ever After. I have it on VHS, and watch it occasionally.
I just love your suggestions to inexpensive, thoughtful gifts, Collin! I’m sending a bunch of Melatonin to a woman who was listed on mashupmom.com, for her to give to her dogs to calm them down when they hear fireworks or thunderstorms. I’m sure I made some money on all of them, and now I get to send them to someone who can use them!

In addition to the Eat Pray Love coupon…there’s a rebate for $4. Total of $8 off.
Anyone know a good price for this DVD?

I am going to do this for my son, he loves movies! I read an article tonight on MSN about items that were going to increase in price this year; chocolate & coffee were among the list! Oh please tell me it isn’t so as I am addicted to both!!

Don’t waste your money on the 24 SeeHere Valentine photo card deal. They took over 2 weeks to even get mine to me and the quality was terrible. I sent them a crisp and bright photo for our Christmas cards using the 50 cards for $4.99 deal with free shipping at Christmas time and got back a dismal dark one too late to send out for Christmas on time. My friend paid extra for expedited shipping and got hers a couple days before mine. She was disappointed in the quality of her’s too and how slow they were to arrive.

I just bought The Princess Bride ($8.99 each + FREE shipping) for my kids teachers on Amazon. I have popcorn bags already & I have 2 M&M heart candies ($1 for 2). Total of $18.98 = $9.49 for each teacher. Not too bad. I feel & it’s a unique & different gift.
I just hope The Princess Bride was a good choice.
