It’s annoying that the olive oil coupon is redeemable only at Walmart… =(

    • Michelle

And, Yay for the Greenies coupon! =)

    • angie

I think it may only be sold at Walmart bc when you go to their website Walmart is the only store that sells it in my area

  2. Alison

Hrm I don’t see BOGO for the Olive Oil on All You. The only thing I see is a $1 off 1 bottle.

    • Alison

Nevermind! I saw it. I’m too tired LOL

    • Kavi Ravi

any idea how much they cost? TIA

  3. Rachel Jokela

Not sure what’s up–but there is no Golden Plump Chkn coupon on that link. Just FYI. thanks for all you do Collin! πŸ™‚

    • Collin

      Hi Rachel,

Try zip code 84051 and see if it pops up! πŸ™‚

      • Sarah

Must be gone. Didn’t pop up for me. Tried a few other zip codes too. Nothing. πŸ™ bummer

  4. angie

Drumsticks at Target are on sale for $1.29 for 5 with the Golden Plump chicken

  5. Xenia

    Thanx for the post Collin.

However I disagree: using 1BOGO Q with $ off Q for the item you actually paying for?
I really don’t think that’s the way it should work, even though the register doesn’t beep.
Think of it: coupon is for both items, otherwise it would state “free”.

    Just my 2 cents

    • Janet

Not trying to be snippy but the BOGO free coupon is for the free product not the one you’re buying. So that is why you are able to use it for the item you are buying.

      • Wendy

Exactly, because it’s buy one get one free and even with the $2 off the one you’re buying – you’re still buying it. You just don’t have to pay as much for it! πŸ™‚

      • Lisa

will walmart take these two coupons?

    • Kiesha

Several major chains clearly state in their coupon policies that you can use them that way. πŸ˜‰

    • Anonymous

When you purchase something using a b1g1 coupon, you’re getting 2 items. The b1g1 coupon attaches to the “free” item. The $1/1 (or whatever) coupon attaches to the one you’re paying for. You’re using 2 coupons, you’re getting 2 items, and your coupons state that you have to purchase 2 items total in order for them to work.

      • ashley

if the coupon is coded with a 14 it does attach to both items. I haven’t printed this coupon so I can’t tell how it’s coded.

      • Xenia

πŸ™‚ Thanx for the replies, I understand the point, I just don’t think it’s meant to be used that way.
MPO both items attach to the BOGO coupon. Otherwise you could use the same item with lets say 10 BOGO coupons and get total 11 for the price of 1 πŸ˜€ and still use $ off for the one you pay for πŸ˜€
        I don’t think so πŸ™‚ see what I mean?

        • Kiesha

No, that’s not the case at all. With a BOGO coupon you have 2 different elements, you have a “qualifying” item and the “free” item. A qualifying item can only be a qualifier for 1 coupon, which is why your scenario would never be proper. It is also why people can’t buy just 1 Olay and use 2 different B1G with it (ie get a deodorant and a moisturizer).

The $1 off is on the qualifying item. There is no stipulation that you must pay full price for a qualifying item (or even pay for it at all, as in the case where a BOGO coupon is combined with a BOGO sale and both items are free).

I am about at strict as you can possibly be regarding proper coupon usage. If you feel it is “wrong” to use them in this way then by all means don’t. However the manufacturers, many chain stores and most couponers don’t see it that way. πŸ™‚

I just made my purchase of 4 of these olive oils at Walmart. Each olive oil was $5.12. I had 2 B1G1 coupons and 2 $2.00 off coupons. Mind you, I never shop at Walmart, but Walmart was on the B1G1 coupon. The Walmart coupon policy says nothing about this type of transaction. After ringing up, the B1G1 rang up fine, the cashier tried to use 2 off coupons. They wouldn’t work….with no explanation in the system. The manager came over and tried to tell me I was using too many coupons. I had to explain to her that I was using the coupons properly. I purchased a product…with no stipulation on how much I had to pay for it listed on the coupon, and I get one free. She said the coupon ‘attached’ to two items. THAT WOULD VIOLATE THEIR OWN COUPON POLICY> ONE COUPON PER ITEM PURCHASED. She kept mumbling I was getting double credit for my coupons. She finally gave up and left and the cashier rang it up. The manager said she would get into a lot less trouble approving it than fighting me about it. The cashier really didn’t care either way. This is the link to the walmart coupon policy. I suggest you take it with you. https://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx The manager obviously doesn’t coupon, she doesn’t know her coupon policy.

      • Yvonne Bush

you cannot use a $1 off coupon for something that is BOGO because the coupon states it is for products indicated. At the store I work at if the BOGO coupon is scanned it will not let you scan the $1 coupon without a manager override and it says too many coupons. I work at a Kroger affiliated store

        • Kiesha

How an individual chain programs its registers has nothing to do with whether a couponing practice is legitimate. There are many “wrong” coupons that will go through with no beeps and many legitimate coupons are rejected. πŸ˜‰

    • Bee

      Xenia

I can see your point and thought this way for years. A long time ago I worked Kroger, Wal-Mart and Wal-Mart cash office. But, some stores allow it. The first place I got stopped in doing it is CVS. In general I don’t try it at all just because it’s not worth an explanation and not worth my red face when I get “caught” doing something I really don’t endorse in the first place.

My logic is this–the discount (monetary value of the second item) is the coupon discount for your purchase of the first item. When you redeem the BOGO, you have already earned the discount you are going to get. Any additional coupons would be double-dipping.

But I really don’t care if people use it successfully the other way. It’s up to the stores and manufacturers to sort that out. I just don’t want to dip my feet in that water.

  6. Rachel

    Thank you Collin!!!

  7. Mitch

Whoa, I will have to wait until I put the kid to bed before I have the time to print out all these goodies!
    thanks

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Has anyone had a problem getting the $2 Olive Oil coupon to print? It says printing and Thank you for printing, but it doesn’t print! Very wierd.

O.K. even stranger after trying to print it at least 20 times it finally prints and let me print it 4 times.

    • Laura Miller

I am having the same problem.

  9. Yvonne Bush

so the Olive oil coupon does not say this but I have heard that Walmart is really a stickler when it comes to coupons. I have read on comments that they always give people grief when it comes to anything that says free on it. I dont shop at Walmart so I am just going by what I have read, The store I work at only has a problem with free coupons if they have a far away expiration date as most free coupons usually expire within a month.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you go to a male checker you’ll have a better chance. For some reason the older lady checkers give me grief everytime. The really young girl checkers are also good to go to, they seem to be more pleasant about coupons, just my 2 cents.

      • Colleen Bell

I agree! I always try to go to a younger girl… they seem to be quicker at putting things through even if it beeps.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anyone else having trouble printing the Robitussin Coupon?

  11. mira

yay my roman meal bread coupon was posted πŸ™‚ its my favorite bread

    • Ann

Mine too! and just 79 cents at my store after doubled coupon!

  12. Shayla

The starbursts/skittles coupon didn’t reset for me….bummer, my family loves these =(

    • Laura C

Did not reset for me also, my favorite candy of all time!

      • Angie

        Me either.

    • Gabrielle

Thanks I love their cookies πŸ˜€

  13. JEAN COOK

HMMMM …. I went through it three times and I can not find the BOGO FREE Olive Oil coupon…. HELP ME!!! I use olive oil all the time!!! ;0))))

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oops

      • JEAN COOK

        Thank you … I did go through Colin’s link … I finally found it … ;0)))

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know about how much the olive oil is at Wal-mart? Thanks in advance!

  15. Julie

Anyone know the price of the Olive Oil?

    • JEAN COOK

It’s between $14-$18 on Amazon … So, hoping it’s even cheaper at Walmart ……Regardless, Once you BOGO … plus get the $2 off … You’ll be getting an awesome deal….I am anxious to find out how much it is also!! ;0))

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

FYI….If you can’t get the Gold n plump coupon there’s a .75 cent one on their website.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can see both sides to the BOGO coupons + $ off coupons. I hate to be pessimistic, but I can see manufacturer’s are going to start placing even more restrictions in the fine print. πŸ™ I hope not though.

  18. E

Can’t get the $2 coupon to print

    • B

      I can’t either πŸ™

      • E

I gave up after a zillion times. So I printed the $1 coupon from coupons.com instead.

  19. JEAN COOK

AMAZON HAS A 3 PACK OF Olivari Mediterranean Olive Oil, Extra Virgin, 25.5-Ounce Bottle FOR $20.36…. Not sure how comparable that is to Walmart. Does anyone know?

    • Phyllis

Went to Wal-Mart this morning. The olive oil is $6.82 for the 25.5 oz.

  20. Jay

The BOGO Oliveri coupon is coded “14”, so you can’t use the second $1-off coupon with it.

    • Gabrielle

What do you mean it’s coded 14? I’m still new!

      • Jay

Well, despite some of the (somewhat odd) posts above, there are two types of BOGO coupon: One lets you use a second coupon (on the non-free item), and one doesn’t. If the last two digits of the coupon code are “14”, then it doesn’t. If it’s, hmm, I forget the other code, but if it’s the other one, then it does. “05” maybe? Someone can correct me..

I don’t understand why someone would make a moral judgment (in comments above) about using a second coupon when it’s specifically allowed by the coupon and by the store…

        • Kiesha

Actually the only difference in the codes is that 14 is BOGO on the same product, the other is for “Buy A, get B free”.

  21. Gabrielle

I’m lovin’ the GOYA adobo coupon! That seasoning is killer I put it in nearly everything I cook, and not on sale it’s about $2.50 for a big jar…I was about to buy some a few days ago; now I’m glad I waited! Thanks, Collin πŸ™‚

  22. Deana

Darn it…the $2/1 olive oil told me the campaign was over….pooh πŸ™

  23. bellabimba

Did anyone tried to buy the Olive oil and use both coupon? And price ???? Thanks

  24. Linda

Is anyone else having issues with the Smartsource Silk coupon? The site says that the coupons are printing, but they never do.

    • Alison

That’s the only coupon I tried to print from this post and it just spits out a blank piece of paper. Maybe I’ll try a different coupon to see if it works. I wonder if it is smart source?

      • Lpmousse

So I just printed a Smart Source coupon from MyPoints, and it printed fine. I think it may have been just this coupon. Oh well.

  25. Amy

Cannot find the BOGO olive oil coupons.

  26. bellabimba

Bought the 8 Olivari Olive oil today. $7.18/ 25.5oz , I used my 4 BOGO coupon plus my 4 $2/1 for the total of $2.59 per bottle. yay! Big saving!!!! Thanks Collin!!!

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I bought 4 Olivari Olive oil today at Walmart for $6 a bottle, they rang up wrong so the cashier just gave them all to me for $6 each, all 25.5oz. Used two BOGO coupons and 2 $2 coupons. Ended up $2 a bottle, killer deal ! Wish I had more coupons.

  28. connie
