      Oh I wish we didn’t move…there isn’t a meijer up here.

  2. Kathy

I can’t find any of these to order anywhere…. I’ve tried The Coupon Clippers, Back Door Coupons, and Coupons by Dede. Sure you can order them on Ebay but the price is WAY too much!!

    • Emily

You should wait until later tonight or tomorrow, because they don’t have all of the q’s from this paper until later today. 🙂 HTH!

      • Kathy

        Thanks….I’ll keep checking 🙂

Hi, I am new to the coupon world, by the way I am loving it. I have a question for anyone. What does RP stand for. When they say coupon found in RP…………Thanks 🙂

        • Teresa

RP stand for Red Plum. Don’t worry, I’m extremely new to all of this too – you’ll get used to the lingo soon. 🙂

    • Sarah

The only one that has the coupons up is Kuntry and theirs are the same price as Ebay…about $.50 per coupon. Not sure if I think that’s worth it or not…

      • Becky

I ordered 20 on Ebay this morning for $5. Definitely happy with that price!!

        • Nikki

I seen a few prices like that last night but by the time I hit buy it now, they where gone. Also be very careful with those ebay deals that look to good to be true such as these. Last year I scored 20 Snuggle for $5 bucks and it was a scam, after a week of not getting my coupons I wrote the seller and waited a day for the reply and nothing, went back on ebay and could not find the seller at all, they had delete the account. Ebay gave me my money back and I had to order from someone else, but the first time someone cheated me.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Like anything, it is best to do research before buying, especially off ebay. Feedback is a great way to start. I’ve had nothing but great success on eBay buying high dollar amount coupons. I ordered 20 $3 Gain coupons for $8 witih free shipping last week, and they arrived yesterday (Sturday) all as described.

            Happy Shopping!

    • Cass

Did you try wholecouponinserts.com, I use them every week, and they usually have a pretty good amount available of the new inserts!

      • mythreesons1967

I havent ever tried buying coupons. Who do you recommend.

    • Janice Greene

I have 4 of them. I can mail them to you if you want them. Just send me your address to my e-mail. GJanice716@aol.com.

    • Tambry

I just did a search on ebay and found LOTS of them. They are around $12 for 20. I bought a lot of them off ebay and do it frequently. I like the ebay and paypal guarantees and have never had a problem.

    • Karin
  3. Marisa

At the Family Dollar in my area (Chicago) Gain Dryer sheets are $3.75 not $3.00 🙁

  4. Kari

I only use liquid but don’t live near a Rite-aid so the hubs stopped in at Bi-Lo and got the liquid softener for $.75 a bottle…not free but great deal!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)
  5. maria

Mine does not say that Danessa. Its just a 3/1 gain Q

  6. Ellie

Got my four this morning at Walmart which were only $3.13 before coupon. My sleeve smells like Gain now from holding them and so does my car. So fresh and clean.

  7. Mindy

Does anyone know what count the boxes are at Walmart??

    • Tonya

just got an 80ct at walmart for $3.12. So .12 after coupon 🙂

      • fran

        Way to go, Tonya!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

120 ct with the Meijer deal… I’m so freaking excited. I got 4 boxes this am and will go get 2 more later… This is apparently a bigger box than anywhere else. Whoo hoo…

      • Cass

I too did the Meijer Deal.Buy 2 Gain and get a $3.00 catalina for next Meijer shopping trip!

  8. Sarah

Anyone know what these are at Target?

    • Lisa

They were $4.29 at my Target this morning.

  9. Elizabeth

try couponfleamarket.com They are a group of trusted ebay sellers who ventured out on their own- because of ebay’s changing fees and rules. I ordered mine last night for $6.95 for 20. 🙂

    • rachel

just checked now it is 10.99 for 20

  10. Bee

We only use liquid and I haven’t had a chance to try this product. Reluctant to invest in a lot of coupons and time plus finding the product if I’m not sure about it. In fact, didn’t even pick up the paper today due to the low number of decent coupons other than this one.

But I am glad to hear some of the coupon sellers defected from eBay. The fees and rules were getting out of hand.

    • Christa

Being I haven’t used liquid softener, can you tell me why the preference? Thanks. 🙂

      • Melissa

IDK about the above person, but I prefer the liquid b/c it seems to keep my clothes smelling fresher longer. Right now, I am using Snuggle sheets. The scent is nice right after they come out of the dryer, but after a few days when I pull something out of my closet or drawer, the scent has diminished. When I use the liquid I can still smell it days later and its just as if I pulled them out of the dryer. Just my preference!

I should also add that my clothes feel softer with the liquid over sheets.

      • Bee

Primarily due to it getting the clothing softer and smelling nice for longer.
I used to use Bounce sheets exclusively but tried some Snuggle liquid and my husband never wanted to go back to sheets.

    • Jennifer2

I absolutely LOVE liquid fabric softener!! The smell is SOO good, especially the Island smelling one. Almost 10 years ago I had to go in for an emergency C-Section and I had brought my clothes on hangers and hung them in the “closet” in my hospital room. After we were in the room for a day or so, nurses and family members/friends would come in and comment on how wonderful my room smelled. After searching around the room, we discovered that they were smelling my clothes that I had washed and used Gain liquid softener 2 days before the c-section!! They still smelled wonderful and everyone was writing down the softener I used…even the nurses!!

      • Suni

That is so funny because for years my aunt used Gain laundry soap/softener and I would always comment how good she smelled…I always thought it was her perfume because it was so very fragrant ……until one day I bought Gain just to try it and once I did my first load I about lost it because it smelled like “Aunt Joyce” she cracked up when I told her the story because she was spending big bucks on perfume and here all along it was her laundry soap I was smelling…..I now use gain all the time….LOVE IT!

    • Stephanie

For people with allergies, liquid softener is better as well. Clothes get rinsed and rinsed and most of the liquid softener leaves the threads of the material. Dryer sheets obviously do not get rinsed. Their smell good particles glom on to the clothing. Very irritating to my daugheter and grandfather’s sensitive skin. But liquid is fine on them.

      • Melindatx3

Hmm…since I’ve been using the snuggle sheets on our clothes I have noticed a rash on my 2yr olds skin (mostly where her skin creases). I bet this is the cause. I will go back to liquid softner and see if it goes away. Thanks for the tip!

  11. ICEMOMMY

I just left rite aid and got 3 gain fabric softner with my 20% off came to $2.39 so free plus overage and had the $1 off any gain detergent and got 3 gain dish detergent for free plus overage got some candy to suck up the overage.

    • Christa

Does the $1/1 detergent coupon specify whether it’s for laundry detergent or dish detergent? Thanks for the help! 🙂

      • Melissa

the $1 coupons I have from the P&G specifically say off the dish liquid.

        • ICEMOMMY

The $1 off any gain detergent coupon was in today’s paper next to the $3 off Gain Fabric Softner coupon. And YES it works on the Dish detergent!

          • mythreesons1967

Great I am heading back to the store to grab the dish detergent now!!! thanks a million. Its great to buy things like this in bulk and donate them to the local shelters and places.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was trying to tell people this morning but gave up because nobody could understand what I was talking about and yes it may be for some areas but was trying to help people out. In the Red Plum coupon insert, it had an ad for Meijer and their Gain Detergent and Gain Fabric softener saying, Buy 2 or more, Get $3.00 off your next shopping trip. In the paper was also the regular Meijer ad with all their store savings. Well everyone got so excited about the fabric softener that I don’t think alot of people realized the mistake that the Red Plum coupon insert ad for Meijer was. How many of you have ever bought 100 fl. oz for $3.99? Probably not many of us. But if you look carefully at that insert ad in the Red Plum insert, it say Gain Detergent 100 fl. oz. $3.99-$1.00(gain detergent coupon)= $2.99, Now how many of you have ever paid $2.99 for 100 fl. oz.? Probably not many. If you look at the Meijer regular ad, it has it printed correctly, but I took my Red Plum insert ad into Walmart and showed her where it said on the Meijer insert ad, Gain Detergent 100 fl. oz. for $3.99-$1.00 coupon=$2.99 so I paid $8.97 for 300 fl. oz. I guess that’s what I was trying to tell people but alot of you were so caught

        • stephanie

No, I got what you were getting at. However, some of us are honest and wouldn’t take in a ad we know is wrong to get a cheaper price. I actually get all my detegent free whether it’s Gain, Tide, Cheer whatever…I have so many store rewards to pay the difference that I don’t need to cheat. I actually got 25 bottles of Gain yesterday at Rite Aid completely free and completely legit! But, thank you for pointing out an ad mistake, taking advantage of it, and being dishonest. Yes, that will help out the honest couponers and make price matching so much easier. You rock!
          ….not!

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Meijer had an ad correction posted near the entrance.

  12. Paul

At my Walmart they are $3.12 for the 80 count and $1.87 for the 40 count. The coupon has a limit if 4 per transaction and if your store allows overage it is still a better deal to get the 80 count ones.
I did an Extreme coupon trip with the kids last night video! We bought the Gain and other stuff, Total $80 before coupons, after coupons $4. I would have actually been negative because my store allows overage so I had to add in something at the end.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Be sure to watch all of Collin’s follow me Monday videos on here. I wish I would have seen them before I got started, they are extremely helpful!

      • Linda

        tyvm, I will do that.

  14. Amanda S.

Has anyone found any good deals on the bottles of softner at walmart, target, cvs, or wags? I use the sheets on towels and jeans and I still have about 6 boxes in the stockpile, but we only have about 2 bottles and we do about a load of laundry a day so this stuff goes fast! 🙂 Thanks in advance!

    • Emily

The small bottles (23 loads) are normally priced at 2.99! 😉

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Liquid was 4.16 at walmart. So 1.16 after the -$3 off coupon

  15. Erika C.

For some reason, my hands get irritated if I fold laundry dried with sheets, so I only use liquid. It was 4.18 at my Walmart this morning, but I’m going to check the Dollar General too. I love the apple mango tango.

  16. elizabeth

My Dollar General Had the 60ct for $2.75, and the computer gave me overage!! I had to add in something for a $1!!!!! All free!!!!! This is the first time I have used coupons at dollar general I was little worried bc I have read about people having a hard time there, but the cashier said that they are happy to take coupons and will take as many as I want to use!!!! Amazing!

    • khunt

I went to two Dollar General stores here and neither would take the coupon!! I asked if they could reduce it downa nd they said they don’t do that and wouldn’t take it if it’s over the cost of the prduct. I even had other purchases, they wouldn’t even scan them. At the second store, the boxes wouldn’t ring up, so she had to hand key them then asked me how much they were. I said $2.75 and immediately thought I should have just said $3! Off to Family Dollar or Wal-Mart I go! lol! (PS I made them take all boxes off, which probably took more time than just reducing the coupon!)

  17. rachel

fyi this coupon came in last weeks redplum in utah. That is probally why the coupon services are sold out old news for me. I will be getting mine at walmart it is 80 loads versus 50 at the other store.

    • me

What part of Utah? I’m from here and didn’t get any $3 off coupon.

      • TERESITA BABCOCK

I’m in Pleasant Grove and got mine in the mail on Wednesday. I also got them in the newspapers today.

      • rachel

came last tuesday in the redplum u get inyour mailbox

  18. Tracy

At my Walmart I ran into a SUPER deal . They had the Gain liquid 150 loads on clearance for $5.00….down from $10.97. Used the 3.00 coupon and got it for $2.00!!! Unfortunately, I only had 2 coupons but thats 300 loads for $4.00. Can’t beat that!!!

    • nishi

my walmart store in utah had 120 Gain sheets for $4.33. I went to Rite Aid and they had 80 count Gain sheets for $5.99.

      • Dawn

My Rite aid had the 120ct boxes on sale for 4.99, so I got that instead of the liquid (Which no one ever remembers to put in) They only had ONE paper left though, I was kinda bummed, but then figured that one box of sheets is prob enough for longer than six months, LOL

  19. snhicks28

What is the best way to get more coupons? I would like to buy 4-5 boxes but our Sunday paper is $2 which almost isn’t worth it. I tried to google coupon clipping services but didn’t find the coupon on any of the sites.

  20. AMBER BAILEY

I prefer liquid because then I dont have to look through the laundry and throw the sheet away! Also, I think it makes our laundry WAY softer! 🙂

  21. Linda

Can anyone tell me how comparable this is too Tide, Ive always used tide, but its soo dang expensive, and Im not against useing this (gain) if I can get it for dirt cheap.

Also, is there any type of community here, where we can post threads and such??

    TIA

    • Katie

I’m pretty sure Tide only makes detergent and not fabric softener. This Gain that Collin is talking about is not the detergent

    • Deb

In the wacky world of Q-ing, brand loyalty will really limit your overall savings, Linda.
Be bold! Strike out and try new brands-can’t build a healthy stockpile without some creative experimentation on the brands. If it’s free, it’s for me.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Linda, that is some good advice from Deb. It is true 🙂

    • Wendy

I’ve always preferred Tide & Downy over any others; however, way back before I started couponing I had to try a lot of the less expensive brands. Tide & Downy remain my favorite, but Gain is definitely second place with me. Of course, as a couponer I use several different brands but my preference it still Tide & Downy first, and Gain second!

    • Amy

Tide doesn’t make a softener but Gain is a product of the same company (proctor and gamble)

      • Linda

thanks so much ladies for your replys, going today to get my gain!!

  22. Amber

My Walmart also had the 80 ct for $3.12…YAY!!

  23. Norita

Walmart in Tulsa has 40ct sheets for $1.87 nice Overage

  24. Karin

I went to Walmart (MO) today and they had 40ct for $1.87 and 80ct for $3.12. They also had my favorite scent(Apple Mango Tango), but it was only 105ct size for $4.33. I need to check the other stores(Hy-Vee, Gerbes and Schnuck’s) later.

  25. babymama1205

Went to wal-mart last night and they let me buy 5 of them without restriction. AWSOME!!!

  26. Pamela Patterson

At my Walmart in Vicksburg, Ms. the Gain fabric sheets were 4.36, and the Gain liquid fabric softener was 4.32. So, I got the sheets for 1.36 not to bad.

  27. Tina Soto

Here in Dallas, Walmart had 80 ct Gain sheets for 3.12…final cost .12!!!

  28. Just a Little Nut-Meg

I get the papers from the two nearest big cities, so I wound up with two of these coupons. I stopped at Dollar general and they had 80 ct. boxes for $2.50 (only lavender scent was this price). They allowed overage, so I ended up getting a $1 for buying them! Add this too the fact that they have Colgate for $1 and I had a $1 off two tubes – $0.50 a piece! Oh, it was a great day at the store today! So many opportunities to stack coupons on sales presented themselves. I hope everyone else had as good of a coupon day as I did! 🙂

    • Deb

Be sure to get your free toothpastes at CVS and RA this week too!

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does Gain liquid stain your clothes like Snuggle softner?

    • Jennifer2

I have used Gain fabric softener for 10 years and have never had any problems whatsoever with it!! It ‘s the best softener, in my opinion! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have always used Gain since I can remember (it’s the BEST stuff out there) and I’ve never had any problems with staining.

  30. Kari

I got the 40 count lavender sheets at Dollar General and they also gave me a penny back!

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I don’t care for the sheets, I forget to put them in my dryer and my clothes feel like there is a coating on them, at least that is how they feel when I use Snuggle Sheets. Are the Gain Sheets better?

  32. Kathleen

    .

  33. Yvette

I live in houston area code 77062 and I did not even get the coupon. Nothing related to gain! I soooo needed it. Uggh I am so upset, oh well, not everyone can get the same deals! I am happy for those who did. Very happy!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww that’s a bummer! There are some people trading these coupons for other coupons if you want to check it out. I belong to this forum and there are lots of nice ladies there that all help each other out: http://www.totallytarget.lefora.com

  34. Deb

I’ve only found 3 bottles each at 2 different Atlanta area RA’s today.
I have 9 more Q’s I plan on using. At least there’s several options out there for us 🙂
Reminds me of all the free Snuggle we got last year!

    • Jen

Yep, I was on my last box of softener. Happy for the new Gain coupons to stockpile again! 🙂

  35. Hollie

I am in Warner Robins, GA. I bought three boxes at the Dollar General on Russell Parkway. They are 2.75 per 60 count box.

  36. Ashley

Anyone else have trouble with Dollar General adjusting down coupons? Just tried there for the first time today to get the dryer sheets. They were priced $2.75. The box itself wouldn’t ring up, so they grabbed another Gain item (which was more than $2.75). The cashier proceeded to ask me to pay .94. I said, “The item was priced for more than the sheets, I’m not going to pay that.” So she yelled across to her manager “She doesn’t want this anymore! Can you void this out?” Meanwhile, a group of customers were standing there waiting for the crazy coupon lady to get out of the store. I asked them if they’d adjust the coupon down and they said “Dollar General doesn’t do that.” So I asked for my coupon back and will be going somewhere else!

    • Amber

Sounds like all the trips I have at Dollar General! They have the most pathetic coupon policy of just about anyone out there (including Walmart). I now boycot them all together!

    • Karin

It is the reason I stopped shopping at DG. They refused to take coupons making anything free. They treated my hubby like a criminal, so we never shopped there again even free or cheap. 🙁

    • Takako

My local DG is pretty nice to taking coupons. If I see something really good deals then have to see a lady who is really friendly employee then she would takes it. Depends on store thought because my neighboring DG I tried to use some IP coupons not so long time ago, they hated my guts so I never come back there since. I just stick with the nearest DG now.

  37. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just a PS if you guys are heading to Walmart to snag a box of these:

they had the scrubbing bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner Starter Kit (the fancy spray bottle of cleaner) on sale from $8.94 down to $6.97 and I used the $5/1 coupon from the SS 01/09/11 #2 on it to score it for $1.97. I don’t know if it will be elsewhere for that price, but just a heads up if anyone’s interested. I didn’t see this posted here, sorry if it already was!

  38. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Does anyone know if it is illegal to pickup up coupons at the post office that are just on the counter? Just wondering because I always see them left over but wasn’t sure if was a good idea or not. Only PO Boxes are on the coupons… No names.

    • ICEMOMMY

How do you find coupons at the post office? Are their recycle bins near the post office

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The coupons are on a counter…like discarded but not thrown away in the garbage can at the Post Office.

    • Stacey

I have a PO Box and know people who leave the coupons on the counter purposely for other people to use instead of throwing them in the recycle bin.

      Enjoy…

  39. guest

    my rite-aid has them for 4.99 🙁

  40. Jenny

Help! I found an error in an ad for Meijers in the RP insert for Michigan. It advertises the Gain 100 oz. laundry detergent for $3.99 – $1.00mq – $2.99. My question is this: Does Meijer legally have to honor this price? It makes an awesome deal after the $3 oyno coupon. $1 altogether for a detergent and 120 ct. fabric softner…WOW. Anyways, my Meijer, which I drive 20 miles to go to, is very nasty and rude and terrible to couponers, so I would love to have my facts straight before I ask them (ever so nicely) to honor the ad!! Any and all help would be appreciated!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you read my post, that is what I was trying to tell people but no one was listening. I am so glad that someone else caught that, and yes, I took it to my Walmart here in Ohio and they gave me the 100 fl. oz, detergent for 3.99-1.00 so I paid 2.99. Gosh so glad someone else saw that 🙂

      • Jenny

Thank you for replying. I also was so shocked to see that. Here is why I asked though. I would like to use the $1q at Meijers so I can receive the check out coupons…do you think they have to stand by their written advertisements?

        • stephanie

Legally….no they do not. Can they do it to be nice? It’s up to the store.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t answer that, my Meijer Store is about 30 minutes away so I do all my comp pricing at Walmart.

          • stephanie

            Danesa,
This is Wal-Marts price matching policy. I just thought you should read it.

            Price matching

Our goal is always to be the low price leader in every community where we operate. Our customers trust us to have every day low prices … there’s no need for “special sales.”

            Our unbeatable promise:
Store managers make the final decision in always taking care of our customers, but we do have guidelines for matching our competition.

•We do honor “Preferred Shopping Card” advertised prices. Must be like items, be advertised and require a competitor’s shopping card, for the discount to apply.
•We do not honor advertisements that require a purchase in order to receive the advertised price or free product.
•We do not honor “Buy One / Get One Free” advertisements.
•We do not honor double or triple coupons or percent off advertisements.
•We do not honor other retailers’ “Misprinted” advertised prices.
•We do not honor Internet Pricing.
•We do not honor competitor advertisements from outside of the store’s or Club’s local trade territory.

  41. Kayla

Some people have said that we can use the 1.00 off Gain Detergent coupon that was next to the 3.00 Gain softener coupon to purchase DISH detergent and not just laundry detergent. Is this correct? The coupon doesn’t specify, however, it does show pics of laundry detergent on it. My DG has the dish detergent for 1.00 so free if this coupon can be used. I hope so cuz I get over 20 copies of each insert every week!

I think this is incorrect use of the coupon. It states Gain detergent and the other ones said Gain dish liquid.

It also says detergent on the gain dish soap…it does not say laundry soap or dish soap. with that being said. I use a couple coupons the other day at wal-mart to see if it worked. and yes it did. Went to rite aid where they are on sale for .88 each today and it wouldnt scan. when she put the numbers in manually it wouldnt except it. So my take is its not meant to be used on the liquid dish soap.. but i will try one more time at wal-mart because it says detergent…

do you buy 20 papers or do you have inside source

Not sure what they do, but me personally…I use my store rewards to buy my papers like that and then the coupons out of those to get more products that give me more rewards and so on 🙂

I am in AZ and I went to both Dollar General today and Family Dollar….I am confused on how to use the coupons to my best advantage….Family Dollar had 40sheets 2.15 and 60 sheets 3.50. The coupons beeped after two. What is there policy on overage and/or adjusting a coupon down? Same with Dollar General prices in AZ (Sun City) $2.00 40sheets and $2.75 60 sheets. I don’t know Dollar General’s policy either….Any enlightenment would greatly be appreciated! Thanks for such a wonderful site and helpful fellow couponers!

I bought an 80 count Gain fabric softener at our Wal-Mart. They were $3.12, I used the $3.00 off coupon and spent a whopping 12 cents!!!

I went to one Meijer and asked if they would order 20 boxes of the Gain fabric softener for me so I could buy them Friday when my coupon clipping order arrives and they told me no. They did not have any sign up about the $3 OYNO catalina, so I purchased two boxes to find out that the $3 catalina would print. I went to another Meijer store and they told they would order 20 boxes for me. The price was also $3.99 but the catalina sign posted said $4 OYNO when you buy 2, good 2/13 – 2/19. Wow, I will be getting an even better deal. I wonder why the catalina would be different for stores that are only 2 miles apart? I suggested that since they are doing an order for me they might want to order extra as many customers might be looking for this.

The catalina is for $3 not $4. It’s a misprint done by corporate 🙂

I went today to Rite Aid, which is not that close to my home, in the Vancouver,WA area but I thought I could get 4 Gain Fabric Softener (24 loads) $2.99 But I only found it on Sale for $4.99 from Reg. $8.99, So since the Coupon wasn’t expiring I didnt use it. I don’t live near any other stores other than Walmart, and I’m not in need of Fabric sheets, only Fabric Softener, If anyone suggests anything, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!
