My Dollar General had 40ct boxes for $2. I purchased three boxes and used two $3 coupons, and paid only tax! Yay! 🙂

I recently tried this at my Dollar General who had them on sale for 2.75 and the cashier WOULD NOT let me use my coupons because it was more than the item. I was so upset!

I know this is a bit off topic with the Gain coupons and such…but I question and you guys have been so helpful before. Anyway I got my coupon for a free can of chef boyardee (sp) well I went to my local DG store, and they wouldn’t accept it because it was essentially a ‘free’ coupon….but in the window it states accepts Manufactures coupons & internet coupon..this isn’t the first time they’ve refused to accept a “free” product coupon…my question is: Is it up to the individual store to accept the coupon or is there a specific coupon policy for dg store??…any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
