The kids Ziploc with the straw is what I use to put my Yoplait smoothies into. Half now and half later. They are the perfect portion cup for these smoothies.

I called Nature’s Own to see where I could buy the bagels here on the left coast. Not available, yet. Good at Walmart, Kroger and other stores in the South.

I just bought a 4 pack of the Ziploc sippy cups at Walmart last night! I have yet to try them, but they were $4.97 at my store.

I don’t see the .75/1 applesauce coupon or the $1/2 coupon. Are they gone or do I need a zip code? I hope they’re not gone, we need more applesauce.

Had a fantastic day shopping at Rite Aid everyone! I rolled my up rewards like no one’s business and came out little OOP which was great. My last stop was at Target and my main bargain was going to be to get the Aquafresh Extreme Clean toothpaste in the travel sizes b/c I printed the coupon for $1 off any Aquafresh Extreme Clean. As I am checking out first thing the cashier does as I am handing her my internet coupons is scan every little word on the coupon and proceeds to say “umm, I don’t think you can use this”…” you can’t use a $1 Qpon off of something that is less”… I let her know well no prob, I know you guys at Target (atleast my location) don’t allow overage. I let her know that in previous trips to the store what the cashier did not to allow overage was to adjust the Qpon down to whatever the price of the item is, in this case 97 cents. The girl was clueless and kept hesitating to proceed with my coupons. So, I said you know what, I’ll go downstairs to customer service they might be able to better assist me. With no hesitation she said” yea yea okay you do that”. Strike one, no willingness to help out. So I go downstairs thinking I might of not “screened” my cashier as well as I should have. So I try another cashier. Same issue!!!! only this time she asks another “cashier” how to make this transaction happen. They tell her that it won’t let me and that I cant use a coupon value higher than the item. So, I ask to go to customer service and speak to a manager about it. Turns out, the “cashier” was the floor cashier’s manager!!!!… So I told her that I still wanted to move the matter to customer service b/c a line was starting to form behind me (hate that!!!!). So, again, they suspended my transaction to figure out what I was trying to do. So she began to say that I can’t I can’t. So by that time I knew it was time too!!!! Pull out the Qpon policy!lol… This is what I read out to her from the Qpon policy…” Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied”. Please correct me if I am wrong girls!!!!! But to me that sounded like what I was doing was in the right. So, even showing her this she said I couldn’t. So I asked if she was also the store manager. She said no, so I asked if there was a store manager in and if so could I speak with them? She gladly called them up. At this point i needed to speak to someone higher up thinking they would be more coupon savvy or atleast coupon policy savvy!! Nope!!! no such luck. They said and emphasized that… it states.. Coupon MAY be reduced IF it exceeds the value of the items AFTER OTHER DISCOUNTS OR COUPONS ARE APPLIED. So, to me she is misinterpreting what that means. I made an example and turns out that for them to have honered my request I would have had to have maybe a Target store coupon to lower the retail 97 cents to another amount and stack the dollar Qpon and then they would lower it to whatever the item would be AFTER THE OTHER DISCOUNTS AND COUPON!!!!!!!….. HUH?????? so bascially if this were the case I would be losing about 50+ cents off this coupon but when it was time to send this coupon off to the manufacturers they would redeem it for $1 and not what they devalued it too for me!!!!!!! I stood my ground though and after a little back and forth she said oh well since its 3 cents, TODAY we will let it go and let you purchase it. LET ME???? what was I doing wrong? So you think it was over? happy ending you say? No way! when the store manager left, the cashier manager kept looking at the coupon and read where it said limit one per person or transaction I forget which. So she called back the store manager!!!!! To let her know and I asked ok it does say that but if the manager says otherwise it is do-able. So I asked, if we should split it 3 and 3 not to be so much? She said know it would have to be one by one and they gave me that look like “YES we got her, she won’t go for doing 6 separate transactions”. Little do they know! I might be a new couponer but I’m no fool and I know a deal when i see one and if it takes a few transactions to get it done, it’s a small price to pay to save so much in the long term!:-)…. In conclusion (FINALLY!!! 🙂 lool )…. The couponer wins again and lives to shop another day for pennies on the dollar!

    P.S.

Feedback please!!!!!! need to know if I was in the wrong. I told her that it was frustrating having inconsistencies at Target considering that I did a similar deal the other day with no problem ($2/1 Dove, got travel sizes!)She said “well that is something wrong on our behalf maybe with training our employees to do the same thing”. I let her know I would call corporate and let her know what they said to make sure! She said “oh yea that sounds like a good idea”! We’ll see what happens with that… keep y’all posted!
