Hi…i have a quick question that maybe someone could answer for me. I get “manufacturer’s coupons” from Kroger Grocery Store. They do not say “good only at Kroger” but..they do have the store icon at the bottom of the coupon (that I could easily cut off). Are these coupons good anywhere (since they say “manufacturer’s coupons) or…only Kroger? (That would be awesome if i could use them elsewhere!)

Thanks in advance for your replies! 🙂

i get those to, as long as it says manufacturer you can use anywhere. I’ve used them at Meijer already. Sometimes some of the Kroger coupons are for “kroger” items and will say store coupon, those are good only at kroger then

If it says manufacture im sure you can use it anywhere.

  3. BORN2RUN

yup you can defiantly use them elsewhere! 🙂

The $.55 ones are good if I can get them doubled.
Otherwise, $.50 is just not enough!
Especially when I know they go half off the day after Easter.
I am a spoiled discount shopper!
    thanks

Ummmm……wouldn’t it be more “prudent” to save 10 cents more and use TWO of the Wonka 55cent off 1 coupons, instead of the $1 off two??

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Nooo….if he doubled .55 it would be a 1.10 savings instead of .50 off two.

    • Kiesha

Dawn, yes it would be, especially if you have a store that doubles. There are special circumstances though where $1/2 may be more handy than a .55/1. Just recently one of my stores had super doubles, so they would double a $1/2 coupon. There is also a numerical limit on the number of coupons they will double. In a couple of cases the $1/2 would make the items free, so I could get 2 for free off 1 coupon instead of 2 for free using 2 coupons. Make sense? 🙂

Yes – but, if you have to buy a bunch for say school or work or church, you’ll use all the savings you can…anything is better than paying full price 😉

Off topic, but I am planning my son’s first bday party and was wondering if anyone advice on where to get plates and such. Everyone here has just great tips! TIA

    • vio

target has a lot of birthday stuff on sale. I’ve got 8ct plates for .28 napkins, birthday goodies, etc….so check out your clearance at Target.

    • LaToya

Walmart is the cheapest, I think. What I’ve done with my kids is a lot of mixy-matchy. Like for the paper plates and spoons and napkins I just buy solid colors that coordinate with the party theme and then only have to buy a few pieces of licensed party things, but by making the tablescape colorful and fun, no one notices that there are only 2 pieces that are Tinkerbell or whatever…if you KWIM.

Dollar stores… I rarely see them on sale/clearance at my Target and my local Walmart is selling stuff at higher prices than Target, no markdowns, don’t know why, maybe because it’s a small store…

Has anyone else had problems with coupons.com? I keep getting virus alerts and the most recent one my antivirus program caught and removed literally removed the coupon printer program all together.

The way you write make it especially easy to read. And the theme you use, wow. This is a really good combination. And I am wondering what is the name of the template you use?
