    The pocket-bac holders are $.50!

    • Allison

Thats what I did when I went in with the last coupon that came out like this, but I couldn’t resist, had to get 2 of the pocket bac’s, those are only $1.50!!

  2. Allison

AWESOME!!! I LOVE these coupons!!! Used the last one, was so excited!! 😀 THANKS!!!

  3. Tricia

Thanks, I will add this to my stack of coupons & gift cards for my “FREE Out On The Town” shopping day tomorrow.

    • val

I have those too. They are the best guilt free and you feel so productive and get to go home with a lot of loot if you do it right.

      • Anonymous

OMGosh! I went in this past Thursday and walked out with $22 worth of items for $2.16! Amazing! I asked the cashier 3 times if the Thursday reward was for THREE free items. Thursday rewards are something I look forward to every month. Thanks so much Collin!

Even though it is a great deal to combine with inexpensive item it would be helpful to list
free – with purchase, since they do occasionally offer items completely free.
My husband came home with the last free item they offered. A cute, itty bitty candle – FREE!

  5. Candice

Every time you turn around they’re giving you another coupon or a freebie. The last travel size coupon just expired on the Tuesday. Thats why I Love BBW.

  6. Melissa

I can’t wait for the day that they release another free lip item! There are so many I want to try, but DON’T want to spend 7-8 bucks on one! I’ll keep watching for you to alert us that there is a free lip item! 🙂

  7. Valerie

I’ve been collecting all these small hand lotions to make up a cute basket for Mother’s Day.

    • Annie

      Nice idea!

    Love these coupons!

I have a question and would love to hear from all of you and Collin!! I used a coupon like the one posted last week and since it says with any purchase I bought a $0.54 Pocket Bac Holder and the clerk tried to get me to buy a more expensive item. But I told her that I was just going to use the coupon and buy something cheaper. She then asks me if I was hard up for money. The clerk also acted snobbish when I proceeded to use my coupon. But after I got in the car, with my ego bruised, in shock that one would ask such a question and my feelings hurt, I began to question myself wondering if I should have bought a more expensive item instead of the $0.54 item even though the coupon says Free Travel size with ANY purchase. What is the coupon etiquette in this situation?

    • CJ

Nothing wrong with being a smart shopper. Store employees have NO RIGHT to question you about your purchases. That is shocking that she said that to you!!
Hold your head up and know that you did an awesome job! If they wanted you to spend a certain amount they should (and sometimes do) put that amount on the coupon!!! You should call the company and tell them what happened. Who knows you may get a gift card or something.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You should have told her that anyone who ISN’T hard up for money in this economy is very lucky indeed! And unless she’s just working at B&BW because she loves working, she’s probably not that well off either. Honestly, the nerve of some people!

    • Corina

That is a shame Lynn, that you left the store feeling like that. The reply: “In these times isn’t everyone hard up for money” BBW is “hard up” for more business, otherwise why draw us shoppers in to buy items when dangling free promotional items. Besides, it is with ‘any purchase’. BBW marketing would realize with that, a lot of us budget friendly consumers would go for the less expensive item. They are probably banking on those customers that go and buy whatever not caring about the amount they spend. You are being frugal by purchasing a lesser value item that you may use versus a more expensive item you may not need at this time. You betcha I am going to buy a $1.50 hand sanitizer when I go(I already have the holder).Hope you feel better and chuck it up as a cashier not having a good day.

    • Jess

With the last coupon like this I went in and bout one of the .50 pocketbacs. The cashier didn’t say anything to me and let me use a 20% off coupon to get the hand sanitizers that go in them in a second transaction. Having worked in retail and being an advertising student I can tell you that a lot of companies use promotions to get you to try their products AND to get you in the store to experience their company. I am sure they would appreciate knowing one of their employees is treating customers like that employee treated you because it undermines their entire promotion.

I had an issue with a Walgreens cashier and contacted corporate and the manager of the store gave me a call so she could figure out what to do with the cashier. She ended up taking her off the register and putting her on stock until her personal issues subsided and she could treat the customers with respect.

      • Annie

I agree you should contact the corporate office about a comment like that. I’m sure BBW does not want its customers treated like that especially if they are putting out coupons to entice customers into the stores. Do BBW employees get commission? They are the most attentive clerks anywhere and I sometimes feel it’s too much to be asked over and over if I need any help. You are correct,Summer, that anyone working in retail is not making a lot of money and should understand the need to use money carefully.
Hopefully, you will have lots of good experiences with coupons and cashiers too. I feel more and more of them are supportive and make nice comments about smart shopping than when I started a couple of years ago. Of course, I always try to be as friendly, polite and considerate as I can wherever I go( not because I’m embarrassed to use coupons but because it’s the right way to treat people).

    • Bee

It shouldn’t matter if you are making a six digit income if you want to get the cheap item to get the free one as long as it follows the coupon wording. Some people (no matter what job they fill) want to be the boss. Probably just that cashier’s personal agenda. Many wealthy people do conserve their money in an extreme way because they would like to KEEP it. Just because you make more money doesn’t mean you want to burn it for no good reason.

    • Terri

Wow how rude! The B&BW employees in my area all know me by now and they never give me problems…they actually give me more coupons! I scored 4 free full sized items last month. Even if I have 2 coupons they will ring each at different registers for me. I would report that employees poor customer service behavior to their corporate office. That is so unacceptable.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I feel Blessed. Everytime I walk into my B&BW I am greeted with smiles. I show them my coupons & or freebie card and they help me shop. If I have a question about a product they readily answer it. I Ended up walking out with a large bag full yesterday. Used my LUVB&BW card and several coupons. The young lady gladly with smiles rang up my multiple checkouts.

  10. Cayman

I would have told her “yes I’m hard up for money, and I like to be frugal. The coupon doesn’t say HOW much you have to spend.

  11. Hannah

The coupon allowed me to print as many as I wanted- I printed 4. My daughter and I went and we both used a coupon for our purchases of a hand sanitizer $1.50 and holder $.50. The both of us had separate orders of $2.15 for a value of $8. We’ll go back again soon!

  14. Sophie

I love B&BW coupons. THEY have the nicest, friendliest, best customer service.

  15. Jen

I used my coupon yesterday – only spent $1.59 and got a $5 item free!

  16. AMBER BAILEY

I used the same type of coupon back in Jan. and bought a “Dark Kiss” travel lotion that was on sale (by the registers) for $1.00 so that I could get a travel size lotion in “Signature Vanilla Coconut” for FREE, worth $5! Then last month they issued another one of these coupons and I bought a mini candle 1.6oz (less than $2) to get “Dark Kiss” fragrance mist 3oz for FREE, worth $5! Now, I will probably use this one to get another fragrance mist for FREEEEEEEEEE, thank you! I love these for my purse and car! 😀
