Looks like Overstock.com has the same mixer for 107.99 with free shipping, the other colors are a bit more. Not sure if the rebate works on those too.

Sorry just noticed they are refurbs on Overstock….

  • Anna says:

What is return policy on this item?
I’m new to cooking, and no one from my friends nor relatives has it. So, I don’t know if I will like it.
And another question, can you take bowl out?

  • valerie says:

  • Hippiegirl says:

This is a great deal. For Christmas my mom got me one and the deal was slightly better. Priced at Kohls for $225 I believe. $30 rebate, 15% off total purchase discount from mom’s kohls card, plus $40 in Kohl’s cash for my mom to use, free shipping! It ended up being somewhere around $135-$140. I love my Artisan and use it all the time!

  • marie says:

I was so skeptical once of garage sales ,I always thought people sold junk or things that weren’t working…but….my husband went to one and found the KitchenAid Pro Series In Red for 50.00!($375.00 retail price)The lady bought in this past December and it didnt have any imperfections or dings.(I think she maybe used it once or twice…) I’m not saying that youll find these type of bargains always, but its worth the effort to wake up saturday mornings and have a look around….

  • Anna says:

Are there any discount codes for amazon.com that can be use on it? I guess I’m getting to greedy lol

  • megan says:

      • Bobbi says:

Do you have to have a Kohl’s card to use the promo code? I don’t have one, and the code won’t work..:-(

Thanks so much for the deal alert! I was planning to watch the prices on these mixers this year because I wanted to get one for my mom for next Christmas…she makes cookies every year for the holidays and this would make her life so much easier!! I am so glad to get the mixer at such a good price. Now I just have to find room in my closet for it until December…ha ha ha.

  • Kelly says:

Update! I used my living social deal and got another $20 off! Can’t wait for it to get here!

(Can anyone make a recommendation on pasta attachments?)

    • Anna says:

I don’t see this deal on my living social ? How do I find it?

      • Kelly says:

Whoops, that was probably a little confusing – I meant that I used my livingsocial certificate for Amazon (purchased a few months ago) on this. I think the deal they ran was $10 for a $20 certificate, but it’s not being offered any longer. Sorry for the confusion!

      • alissa says:

Its a previous living social deal. its no longer available.

  • Amy says:

    Kohls deal idea:
    Subtotal: $299.99
    Percent Off (30%): -$90.00
    Shipping (FREE, excludes surcharges) $0.00
    Shipping Surcharge(s): $7.50
    Total Tax: $14.14
    Total: $231.63
    $231.68 (-) $30 rebate (-) $14.95 magazine opt out refund (-) $40 Kohls cash based on $209 price after 30% discount = $146.68

  • Amanda says:

Ugh, I really…really want one of these but i’m just not in the market this time. I am getting married next year so i’ll keep my fingers crossed maybe someone will think of me :]

  • Bridgette Lehman says:

can someone help me.. how do i join subscribe and save program. do i actually need to order one of the itmes?

    • Miriam says:

You can join the Amazon Mom program at any time but you can’t “join” subscribe and save. You sign up for subscribe and save on certain items that have it as an option such as diapers and lots of food items. Subscribe and save will give you 15% off if you choose it. Amazon Mom gives you 15% off diapers. You could do both on diapers. Amazon Mom has other perks you can read about. Basically, it gives you the perks of Amazon Prime for a limited time which is free two day shipping on anything no matter how much it costs and $3.99 to overnight an item.

  • megan says:

so the classic mixer doesn’t have a handle on the bowl. will that make a big difference?

  • megan says:

are the different bowl sizes interchangeable on any mixer? basically if i get the 4.5 qt will larger bowls fir my mixer?

  • Steph says:

I am new to rebates. The rebate form asks for the name of the store, city, and state the item was purchased. What do you put for Amazon?

  • ang says:

What a great deal! I have wanted one of these for years. Sad I don’t have the space in my place or the money for it. I am sure in the future it will go on sale again so I will just have to continue watching. Congrats to you lucky ladies getting one!

  • megan says:

i read the reviews on amazon. a lot of people said it leaked oil into their food. anyone experienced this?

  • Deanna says:

Just ordered my mixer. I’ve been wanting a Kitchen Aid for over 2 years (the belt broke on my last stand mixer -a Cook’s brand – & they do not have replacement parts) Anyway, got my Kitchen Aid mixer ordered & applied for the Amazon card so I could get 6 mths. no interest. Also, had credit of $65 w/ Amazon & they offered Free shipping on this item. So after my $65 credit & $30 rebate & $14.95 magazine rebate, I wil be paying around $97. WOO HOO!

  • Christine says:

Looks like the 4.5 qt mixer on Kohls.com has a $20 rebate (There is a link in the description). It’s $199-30%=139.30 with 3.95 shipping surcharge. Get $20 rebate and $20 in Kohls cash. Essentially costs $103.25 if you factor that in. Is it worth it to buy the extra .5 qts?

    • Kristen says:

I’ve heard that the smaller bowl’s mixer has less power. I’ve heard it makes a huge difference :)

    • Allison says:

I’ve had the 4.5 qt for almost three years, and I love it. I don’t notice any need to have more power. The bowl doesn’t have a handle, which is the only thing I miss, but you can purchase a handled bowl separately on down the line if you want one.

  • Karen says:

That is a good price for the 6 qt. style, but not for the 5 quart.

  • Megan says:

  • Kristen says:

I got one for $160.00 on clearance (it was an anniversary edition/the last year’s model). Still the 5qt. Artisan, and I got it in RED :)

  • Gracie says:

Karen… are you saying we might be better to wait for a better deal on the 6 qt mixer? Is there really that big of a difference?
    THANKS!

    • Gracie says:

NEVERMIND! I just WENT for it!!! Ya know… sometimes I think the coupon saving sites are the best thing EVER (AND THEY ARE) But not so sure hubby would agree… LOL.. I would have never just purchased that mixer if I hadn’t seen it on here! BUT HEY… I figure with all the money I save couponing it easily has paid several times over for this mixer and then some!!!!!!! I’ve just gotta convince him of that now! ;) hmmmm…. it’s ok… I think I have an envelope somewhere with some hidden little “extra” cash that will pay for about half of this!

I have wanted one for 20 + years. I bake and decorate cakes and have burned up MANY mixers! I will put this one to the test and I think it was worth a few extra bucks to get the 5 quart! This past weekend I went to my sons house in Dallas and made my Granddaughters first birthday cake. For the first time I got to use my daughter in law’s kitchen aid mixer. OH MY GOODNESS did it make things soooooo much easier! It was like night and day!!!!

As to the color… I mean really…. ladies… RED IS MY FAVORITE color!!! and I do understand people wanting colors… but white will rather just “blend” in in my kitchen.. so for me it’s a happy choice! I can’t justify letting a color make me pay more for something like this.

      • Gracie says:

as I re-read this I’m thinking… did I actually post that? or did I just think it? SORRY for sounding…. Uhhhhhh… sooooo……..ummmmmmmmm…. WHATEVER!!! I don’t know where my head was at that moment!

Forgive me if I came off in a bad way! I’ve paid extra for things due to the color many times. If you’re going to spend this much money on something a few extra bucks to get the color you love.. esp. since you will likely have it around for years is def. worth it! For me it just so happens white will work best in my kitchen. I prefer to “hide” appliances so this will help it blend in since I still have the ugly old white refrigerator!!! :/ AND the kitchen I hope to one day have will have white cabinets with a special place for my mixer :)

PS. YES… THANK YOU COLLIN! You have definetely helped me save enough money to MORE than pay for this wonderful deal! :)

I was going to just delete the above comment… or at least remove the parts I don’t like but it won’t let me edit :( Sorry everyone for sounding….. well you know! LOL!

  • Renee says:

If you buy thru Kohl’s, go to shop at home. I happened to buy mine on a shop at home bonus day in Jan. Super deal with the free shipping, 30% off, $40 bucks Kohl’s cash, $30 rebate, $14.97 Martha Stewart rebate and the bonus rebate through shop at home which happened to be $20 that day. I think the blue artisan cost me w/ $7.50 extra shipping charge for weight, about $124. It was just a fluke but I got a super deal. Thanks to Collin, I learned some really good shopping techniques and got my membership at shop at home. Thanks, Collin. This Amazon is still a great deal on the Artisan.

  • angie says:

I did this same deal but I noticed the 4.5 model number does not work on the mail in rebate. Bummer, huh! Let me know if you find a way to make it work.

  • bellabimba says:

is the head of this mixer tilt????????

  • debra says:

I am doing a happy dance right now!!! I have wanted this for years!! I just never buy myself anything. BUT, I will never get it this cheap again. I used $78 in Swagbucks credits so after the $30 rebate and $14,95 opt-out magazine subscription this cost be $83.05!!!! I was soooo tempted to pay the $3.99 one day shipping but I decided to wait! My family is going to gain soooo much weight!! LOL!

  • Holly says:

I too went for it! Been longing for one for over 2 years but never took the plunge…even after my little sister got one! Went through Kohls and got ‘caviar’ (sounds $$, right?!) Big smiley face!!!

  • Tonya D. says:

I got one, I am so excited and I love Hip2Save.

  • Melissa says:

I found my KA mixer last fall at Target for half off, paid $125 for it. It was worth every dollar and I now can’t imagine being without it! I bake almost every day and these mixers are absolutely as good as the hype surrounding them, love mine!

  • Beverly says:

I just received the yellow one as a gift for my birthday. It is really a neat mixer.

  • alissa says:

the white one on amazon.com is now $239.88.

  • Amber says:

I just bought me a pink one since its my favorite color at BB&B used a 20% off originally $300 got it for $200 after my MIR and coupon! Its also local so if it didnt work I can return to store! My question is how to you opt out of the magazine?? I really could care less about that part!!!!

    • debra says:

it tells you on the rebate form towards the bottom. I’m not looking at it but i think it said to send it in with your packing slip. I just received my mixer today and rushed out and bought enough baking supplies to open my own bakery!! I am so excited to use it tomorrow!!

  • Jaclyn says:

This information is incorrect. The price is $239.06 then a $30.00 mail in rebate makes it 209.36. Still a great deal!

  • Eddie says:

These sell for 189-199 at walmart, lowes and homedepot…….
