Heart Healthy Promo ♥
Through March 26th, you can snag a $20 +Up Reward with a $50 purchase of select heart healthy products or a $10 +Up Reward with a $30 purchase of select heart healthy products. Please note that a $10 +Up Reward will print on your receipt when you reach your $30 purchase requirement and an additional $10 +Up Reward will print when you reach your $50 purchase requirement (limit 1 +Up Reward per household). Each week, I will identify items in the weekly deals that qualify for this Heart Healthy Promo by marking them with a ♥
Video Values Update:
March’s selection of Video Values includes a slightly different Beauty Bonus offer. The Beauty Bonus is $2 off any purchase of $10 or more of select beauty products (the specific beauty products that the coupon can be used towards will be listed on the coupon)…earn this offer by watching all 12 of the beauty videos specified on the Video Values site.
$3/$15 Coupons
If you have a recent Rite Aid receipt, look at the bottom of the receipt for an opportunity to take a Rite Aid customer service survey. Then just head over here, enter your unique 16 digit code that is listed on the bottom of your receipt, complete the survey and upon completion, you’ll receive a printable $3/$15 coupon that is good for 2 weeks! Note that it appears you can only earn a maximum of three $3/$15 coupons per month. Check out this post for more information.
For the very latest Rite Aid coupon policy, please go here. I would encourage you to print a copy to take with you to the store.

If anyone successfully gets the tuna deal this morning please let the rest of us know
Jenna says:
I just looked at RA page on facebook and someone posted the monthly UPs on tuna are not printing. Boo.
Jenna says:
But as a side note, it appears the $5 off $15 (food/candy reward) may be a earned amount that can be done over several transactions. (Similar to the Heart Healthy Reward) I don’t know for sure, haven’t checked it out yet.
Diane says:
I bought my bumble bee on Friday and all the UPs printed fine!
kathy b says:
I had just went to RA and bought 10 cans of the tuna and only got the $5.00 ups for ‘ for the purchase of food’. It was marked on the shelves for the $1.00 ups for each. The manager gave me a $10.00 gift card for the ups. this is in Louisville Ky.
Jenna says:
hey
I’m in Louisville too
Sandra says:
I went to RA this morning and bought 3 cans of the Bumble Bee solid white tuna at 2/$3
I did NOT get the $1 UP reward on each can, only received the Get back $5 +Up Reward (when you buy $15 of select food items this week)
So what happened to the $1 UP reward for the Monthly food purchases????
I did score really well on the regular tuna which I purchased on Friday and Sat, those tuna did pay out with the $1 UP reward per can..
I’m a little miffed about the Solid white tuna though… Is there any way to contact corporate about it, Thanks a lot
Hollie says:
I am in Shepherdsville. Never thought about asking manager for the $10.00 gift card. It was also marked on shelf but didn’t print, I will remember for next time.
LaToya says:
Just got back from RA…tested the tuna deal here. Bought 15 and NOTHING printed…not the $5 or the $1s…nada; returned ‘em.
mouni says:
Same here. Rite Aid is no longer giving the monthly 1 $ food ups.
I love Rite Aid and I’m really thankfull for all the amazing deals I get there but this is a bad strategy to pull a deal without warning when it was supposed to last all month. It’s a good thing I didn’t buy 10 cans . I only bought 3 tunas to test it out and completed the rest of the deal with dooritos and free pepsi ( from a coupon Collin posted about)
Only got 5 ups and 2 for 4 packs pf doritos.
Anonymous says:
I tried getting the up rewards on the tuna this morning too, they didn’t print out but the manager at my RA was kind enought to double check why it wasn’t printing up. She stated that RA corp just recently sent them a disclaimer that it was one or the other. Because the disclaimer wasn’t on the aid this week, she gave me a store credit of $10.
Wendy says:
I bought the tuna, and it didn’t print the up rewards. : (

Is the “Just For Men” rebate the same one that was out last year? Can someone help me with this? I already did it last year.
kelly says:
there was one out last year but there is a new one out this year.
andrea says:
I just got back from my rite aid in Ohio and the sinex was not on sale it was ringing up 7.49 any one else notice this? I was hoping to get some free sinex thanks
Nicole says:
The Sinex is included in the sale this week – if you look at the flyer you’ll see it’s not pictured or mentioned in the items that are included. It’s a bummer, I know, I was counting on free sinex + puffs as well
shelly123 says:
Hi, same thing happened to me! On top of ringing $7.49 the cashier told me I got the cold one not sinus..there was line, and I should have had her look at the ad but I took back my coupons and she voided them offf. I will go back this week and try again.
Tammy N. says:
Can you use both the $3 one time use for soft scrub and the one time 3 use for pledge or just either one??
Gina says:
Unfortunately, the Vicks Sinex wasn’t included in the sale, so I couldn’t do the Sinex/free Puffs deal.
Kirstin says:
I am having trouble watching the Rite Aid videos. Every video I click on triggers a message that says, “Video Not Currently Available”. Is anyone else having this problem?
stacy says:
me
Heather says:
Me too!! What’s going on??
Heather says:
I just got them to work using Internet Explorer. Hope that helps!!
Kirstin says:
I tried IE, like you suggested, and it worked. Thank you for replying – I wouldn’t have thought to switch over and try them in IE.
TLH says:
The answer most likely is, if you are using Firefox, disable Adblock Plus.
Jenn says:
Oh wow, I never realized that was what caused this. I just figured it was not compatible with Mozilla. Thanks!
robyn says:
PLEASE tell me how to do this. i don’t have IE and i am unable to watch any videos. this has never happened before!
Racquel says:
Help. The same thing is happening on my laptop where i can’t seem to see the full screen for the video value. What do you mean by “try using IE” and please be gentle I am not that computer savy.
K Crew says:
IE is Internet Explorer. That is the web browser you need to use to watch the videos. If it isn’t working, you are most likely using Mozilla Firefox.
kelly says:
Gotta love it when the guy in front of you cleans the shelves of everything on sale. Have some class people! Seriously… you need to clean the shelf of every can of tuna and all the motrin Pm? Really? Atleast I got a good laugh today.
julie says:
jokes on him, no ups on the tuna!
shelly123 says:
my store had no purex..anyone else find any?
mouni says:
I found it. I went to 2 Rite Aids and got one from each one of them.
SaraJC says:
The sinex is not part of the promotion. I did score on the Purex, dixie plates, motrin, halls cough drops, and little remedies medicine =D
Anonymous says:
I asked the manager at my RA and she said that it is as long as it is the 12ct. Couldn’t seem to find the 12ct.
MS says:
My store had no Purex also. is it possible to request a rain check for it?
Jenna says:
absolutely
Mika says:
Yes! I got a rain check for the Motrin PM, Dixie Plates and Purex. I love Rain Checks and I heart RA!
Jennifer says:
I love the deals I get at Rite Aid when the sale items are actually in stock. I arrived at my usual Rite Aid this morning about 45 minutes after opening and almost everything I was looking for was gone
!! This is so frustrating!!! However, I did get a survey code on my reciept. This is the message I included in my survery……
There were several items that were advertised in your weekly ad that I was shopping for today and several items I had rainchecks for, from last week that I was also looking for today. I arrived at the store about 45 minutes after opening. None of the raincheck items were in stock and I had to ask for several more rainchecks for items out of stock this week as well. Out of the items I did end up purchasing, many of these items were the last on the shelf. If I shop at Rite Aid any other day of the week, or any later on Sunday morning I end up getting Rainchecks for all of the advertised items I am looking for. I understand that I can come back at a later date, but it seems to me that if Rite Aid advertises an item in there ad, they should have sufficient back stock of these items for customers all week long, I shouldn’t have to shop several times over the next several weeks to purchases the items that were on sale this week. Also, with your UP reward program and rebates, rainchecks make these type of transactions more difficult for the me the customer and also the cashiers. I hope to find suffiecent stock of advertised items in the future!
TLH says:
Oh, I’ve been doing the survey every week now and every time i tell them that I come home sunday morning with 3+ rainchecks, and that it makes it impossible for me to shop there. I don’t think they listen much.
Anonymous says:
I am having the same problem and I am not shy about it on my surveys. I think it really stinks!! If it wasn’t for some good deals I would have crossed RA off my shopping trips!!
Jennifer says:
Sadly, I have stopped shopping there because I got so sick and tired of them never having the sale items. So dissapointing.
Sabrina says:
Hello as a fellow couponer and a cashier at Rite Aid. Its not that the items are not in stock its that there are customers that will wipe out the whole shelf of items. Mind you RA doesn’t take into account for what coupon deals are out there, especially if some items arent regular sales items, therfore if the item is out of stock on a certain day you may have to wait a long time to get it. Tip: ask your store about their load days, the morning after is best to go get your rain check items.
To all: There is such a thing as coupon courtesy…
TLH says:
Actually it is also that RA does not have items in stock. After all, I tried to get a single toothbrush for two months straight. Also, their truck comes in once every three weeks. Rainchecks are valid for 4.5 weeks (one month). Sooooooooo, if the store doesn’t get the item or enough of the item on the very next truck after the sale, which is indeed often the case, then rainchecks are absolutely worthless!!
Furthermore, if much of the problem is also shelf clearers, which I agree are a part of the problem, there is a simple sensible solution: LIMIT QUANTITIES PER CUSTOMER! This really isn’t a new concept. If you think this will make RA sell less, think again. RA sells less when I stop wasting my time coming in half an hour after open every Sunday looking for that week’s nonexistant deals, and don’t show up at all anymore.
Betty says:
Hi! I went to Rite Aid this morining BEFORE church as I have found that going after leaves me with none of the advertised items, this is sooooo frustrating! Today I must share my deals I found. I purchased 3 Gillette Profusion Razors (raincheck from 5 weeks ago), 4 Purex (I was surprised to find these), 2 Tilex Mildew, 2 Tilex Clean Shower, 6 Dixie plates (48 in each), 1- 18count Chloraseptic, 2-20 count Finish (they have been out of this for 5 weeks, I’m so glad they were on sale again) I spent $4.86, but listen to this, I got $9 in up rewards left over after these 3 transactions. I got paid $4.14 to shop there! I so wanted to post a picture as I have seen before, but I’m not that computer saavy. This is by far my best shopping trip to Rite Aid–I must say I was amazed they had everything in stock that I was looking for. We are a family of 7 on one income and I am so GRATEFUL for blogs like this to help stretch our money! THANKS and God Bless!
Alea says:
Great job
momto2 says:
First, I am new to this site but LOVE IT!! I’m telling all of my friends. Next, I went to Rite Aid this morning and didn’t get my up rewards for the Purex crystals ($1) or the $3 up reward for buying $10 of the Pine sol/tilex combo. Are they starting to take into consideration coupon values to see what you actually paid for items? I know after coupons I didn’t have $10 for the one but I’ve never had this happen before. I went back in the store with my receipt and they just gave me $4 cash back – but what a hassle! Also I have the same problem with stock issues. (I’m in Michigan). If you don’t go early in the morning on Sunday, everything is gone and nothing comes in all week. Very frustrating!!!
Heather says:
I can’t get the VV to print!! Every time I click on one, a little window pops up that says that video is unavailable!! Is anyone else having this trouble?!
TLH says:

Some of the Right Guard bodywashes had $1 peelies on them when I went this morning. I was able to use one with the bogo coupon! 2 bottles for $2!
Krista says:
I went to my Rite Aid and got several great deals! Thanks Collin!! I wanted to know if anyone had any trouble with printables recently? I had 4 with me (total savings of $12) they wouldn’t scan and the cashier said she wasn’t allowed to take them. That the store manager had told them that if they don’t scan that they could be fradulant and so not to take them. She was very nice though and put them through manually. I want to avoid this problem in the future, my printer isn’t the best so my printables don’t always scan. Anyone else have this issue?
Candice says:
I did have this issue and decided to buy a new printer, although it worked perfectly fine in all areas except Rite Aid’s scanners. I know it sounds silly, but the $39 I spent at Walmart for my black HP all in 1 (scanner, copier printer) I’ve saved 5 times that amount in coupons and I gave my other printer to my neighbor. Check Walmart for another printer, trust me it’s worth it.
Donna Mc. says:
Here’s the issue I found with some printable coupons. I think if you stack with a Rite Aid in Ad, you need to scan those In Ad coupons LAST, and not before. If you scan them before, it makes the MFC coupon beep. I know this has to be what happened last night, as I had the the Physician Formula $5 coupon scanned at one store and then the $3 In Ad, and there were no problems. I saw another woman looking at the Physicians Formula, and nicely gave her an extra printed PDF coupon that I had, and told her it could be stacked with the in ad coupon, but I think she had that scanned first as her MFC coupon beeped. The cashier told her they couldn’t take it and that it was photocopied. Luckily I was still there and told them no… I don’t photo copy coupons and that it was a PDF coupon put out by the manufacturer and that I have printed and extra copy and gave it to the woman. I mean jeez… no scan going on here. So anyways, I actually was curious and saw another “Try me free” Physician Formula product in another Rite Aid, and tried the coupon again with the in ad last, and the MFC going through first went through without any beeps. Sooo… hand over all Rite Aid coupons to be scanned after the MFCs.
Candice says:
lol not that the coupon beeps it won’t scan, so they won’t accept it at some locations.
audrey says:
looks like the renu coupon is no longer working?
Jonna says:
Just wondering since I’m new to couponing…if the Rite Aid in-ad coupons say manufacturer coupon on them then how can you use them with the man q that you have? In the case of the Clean & Clear…for example…
Megan Miller says:
If you look at their coupon policy you can use upto 3 coupons for 1 item, a manufacturer, an in ad q, and one printed from their website. Just make sure the in ad and riteaid ones start with different numbers. one with 48, the other 49.
I think this is how it is…
Donna Mc. says:
If a Rite Aid coupon starts with a 5, then it is a manufacturer coupon, but if it starts with a 48 or 49, it is a Rite Aid store specific coupon, and can be stacked with manufacturer coupons.
Lolo says:
Jpnna, the reason the in ad coupon says it is a manufacturers coupon is because Rite Aid gets reimbursed from the manufacturer, but the coupons can only be scanned at RA. (as a result they are considered RA coupons.) Manufacturer coupons that can be used at any retailer always start with a 5 or a 9 and can be combined with store coupons at most stores that also have their own. HTH
Rachael says:
Has anyone had any luck getting the Clean and Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent for free? The RA I went to today sold it for $5.49, not for $3.99 so I was just wondering if anyone was able to find it for the lower price. If so, please let me know where. Thanks.
Sarah says:
It was 5.49 at my store also. I got three of the 6.49 pink box products and after my 20% discount and a very flexible cashier who allowed me to use three in-ad coupons, it was still a small overage and products I wanted.
Tiffany says:
Same here

6.99 – 20% = 5.60

-3.00 mfc
-3.00 up = 1.40 mm
Salonpas 1 ct. is $1.00

I’m not anti overage, RA is – their coupon policy prohibits it. We all need to make sure we follow the policy so that they keep the fantastic deals coming!

For the Emerald Nuts, you can use the $1/1 coupon from http://www.underdogbracket.com.
Deal Scenario:
By 6 packages of Emerald Nuts B1G1 (I know, kind of ridiculous, but my husband complains when I don’t keep the nuts stocked up, lol)
Pay 6.99 x 3
Use 6 $1/1 coupons (or as many as you have)
Pay 14.97
Get back $5 RR
9.97 for 6 packages of nuts. I also used a $4/20, so it was only 5.97-less than the price of 1 regular priced!

Are $4/$20 available any more? Just wondered if there is a pdf of a higher coupon?

My riteaid had the sinex 12 cap $3.99 but only 3 left. I scored two. Plus lots of other deals. What a great week! Thank you soooooo much Collin!

RiKi Rietschlin says:
I saw on the site that Pepsi was 3/$12. But @ my store was 3/$9.99 w/$3.00 up. Also the loreal 360 clean was free if you had the $2.00 in ad q, the vv $2.00 q and $1.00 man q. Purex was also free if you stacked $2.00 man q w/$1.00 vv. I am sooo sorry to hear about people having trouble w/store clerks, mine are so nice and helpful. They even give me the next weeks ad early so I can plan for the next week. I LOVE MY RITE AID!!!

andrea says:
Good for you! I found a $1 peelie on one of my 12 packs!

I’m confused. How can you use the in ad coupon for the Loreal Go Clean with the video values coupon when they both have the 49 code on them? I didn’t even try since I know you can only use one “49″ coupon per item.
HeidiP says:
Most people are unware that the “magic 49″ coupons cannot be combined. I have read it here, but its not somehting that the average shopper is aware. I am guessing that most Rite Aid workers dont know the rule either……..
Latasha says:
Okay- my ad does not have an in ad coupon for Thermacare, unless I am super blind. And, my insert from yesterday does not have a Motrin PM coupon. That one I can live without but I really do need some of the Thermacare, so what page are you all seeing this on? I didn’t see it advertised in the ad at all- in ad coupon or UP Reward. Help?
EDIT- I looked on iheartriteaid.com and sure enough, the page with the Thermacare coupon is completely missing from my ad. Super bummer
I might still try to buy it and if it doesn’t generate an UP Reward that sucks but I need this so I’ll still keep it.
Audrie says:
Upper right corner of page 9 in the ad.
Latasha says:
Yeah, completely missing from my ad. That whole page isn’t there. I’ll have to print a copy of that page from iheartriteaid.com and take it to the store to see if any of the other sale items from that page have tags up. That will help me judge whether or not the UP Reward will print for the Thermacare.
Thanks.
Christa K. says:
Or print it off of Riteaid.com – ESP if when you enter your zip code, the ad still shows the coupon. This happened to me on an item before – showed it online, there was even a sale tag on the shelf with the item! But no in ad coupon in the ad. So the manager just manually entered it, no problem.
Summer says:
Could be a regional thing – I don’t have the coupon either. I’m in Michigan and my ad is always slightly different than the ad Collin and iheartriteaid use. Most promotions/sales are the same, but I think I have a page of alcohol sales instead of some of the other items. Since I don’t drink, it doesn’t do me much good
Latasha says:
Ours has a whole page of alcohol, always the back page. I’ll try the website thing, thanks ladies!
Netter413 says:
I live in MIchigan as well and am finding there are differences too. Last week I had a copy of the iheartriteaid ad and the cashier gave me the sale price after I showed her the ad. She said that if it said Rite Aid on the ad that she’d honor it. When I went back the next day the cashier agreed with the first cashier but said that iheartriteaid isn’t a ‘rite aid’ site… I think I’ll try the RA ad using a different zip code (off the website) in the future to get all the sales…or try to get all the sales…
Hollie says:
I tried the Bumble Bee deal and I only got back the $5.00 up.

I havent noticed anyone mention this deal. Visine is on sale at RA for $4.99. Use the $2 in ad Q with the $2 printable and get $1 up making this free after ups.

Is there a $5 up offer going on with Dial b/c I bought 12 Renuzits, 1 Purex Crystals
and at the bottom of my receipt it said I have $10.56 towards a $5 up but I’m needing to know how much more to spend to get it whether its $15 or what. Do anyone know about this?
Netter413 says:
I had the same thing… for the Conair; for the food category and for the Dial.. I didn’t have a clue what I bought that would be Dial but now realize it was because of the Purex Crystals. Interesting that they’re doing this stuff but not the heart stuff….
erin says:
Hi, does anyone know if there are any coupon/rewards available for getting prescriptions through RA pharmacy? My plan just changed…Thanks!
Belinda says:
No I did mine at Target this week instead and got 2 $10 gift cards for 2 scripts
You may want to call around your local grocery stores in your area they may
have a offer but Rite Aid usually cut off up to 6 mos. before you may see another offer again
LaToya says:
There is a $5+Up printing when you buy 18 Renuzits; I did it with 24 however so I spent a little bit more.
This is what I did:
Buy 24 Renuzits – on sale for 88-cents each = 21.12
Use $3 off $15 purchase = 16.12
Use 3 BOG3F coupons from the 3/13 Red Plum = 5.56
Use 2 55-cent off online coupons – I was in a hurry and couldn’t get to another computer to print 2 more = 4.46
(I paid with +Ups)
Got a $5 +Up back.
So 24 Renuzits @ 6-cents each.

KATE says:
Where did you get the manufacturer Q?
Lolo says:
there is one in 1/23 RP or 2/20 RP
TERAH says:
I asked the Manager at my store today about the Q with the “49″ she said “you can use both in Ad and VV because that’s RiteAids policy, u can use VV with any other Q.”, so that was great for me
mel says:
yes, you can use VV & store coupon together, but only if they are different RC #’s. A majority of store coupons now start with 49 too (instead of 48), so you can’t combine them with a VV coupon b/c that also starts with a 49. I think a majority of store managers don’t realize the store coupons are now RC49.

Does anyone know if the $5 off $15 food products like Lays, Doritos etc and the $5 off $15 candy & gum offer are limit of 2 offers each or 2 offers total? I am somewhat new to shopping at Rite Aid and was wondering, if I buy more than 1 item that is on sale with an UP reward, will it print more than 1 UP reward during check-out?

Ok .. so I am a little frustrated this week with Rite-Aid :/ I always go EARLY Sunday morning, however this Sunday someone beat me to the Motrin, the cashier said they bought every box on the shelves! (I usually get two of each item so there is plenty for everyone) Since Im a religious RA shopper I know that their truck comes in on Tuesdays so I tried again yesterday, and guess what? YES! Someone bought every box they put out from the truck! Ughhh. Ok so maybe im not aggravated with RiteAid itself, but the people that clear the shelves out! I wouldnt be so aggravated but I was going to give it to family members (I cant take it anyway, Im pregnant, and dont usually use it anyway) One box would have been nice
But I cant complain to much .. I swung over to CVS and got some great deals Sunday!! And better yet Im going to take my RA paper to Walmart and let them price match them for me!
