  1. Megan

Has anyone tried the Garnier RR deal with the styling products? Just curious if Collin’s deal will work. Thanks!

    • ann13861

Megan I did it with styling products the Catalina machine did NOT give me the $5. However, I complained to the manager and she gave me $5 since she couldn’t give me the RR for it. The sale is vague and it says only with with shampoo, conditioner, and stylers on the shelf. The cashier told me my stuff did not qualify, but the gel and anit frizz serium are CLEARLY stylers so in the end after my fight I did end up with $5 back, but it was not easy!

      • Susie

Same here – the ad says stylers between such-and-such ounces, which is ALL of them in the regular size – but mine didn’t print either. The manager manually printed it though after checking the working in the ad.

        • Ebony

I tried this morning in 2 transactions. I didn’t get the RR with either one. But….because my Wags is awesome(Milton, WA). the manager went through the products to figure out the correct ones. It was the ones that are exactly pictured. She handed over 2/$5 RR and apologized for the problem.

          • Shannon

Wow Ebony- wish my walgreens had that kind of customer service! When my RR didn’t print for a transaction the manager told me I had just been lucky before and they weren’t supposed to print!

            • WagEmp

I placed the RR tags up this morning and it’s ONLY for the items that are 6.99 and 5.99. That is what the RR is coded for, and what it states on the RR/ad tags. Hope this helps with the confusion.

            • Domanique

Went to wags this afternoon-wouldn’t print my RR for the Garnier products (even one of the workers helping me find the products said they were confused with this one). The manager ended up giving me the $5 RR. Very nice to have great customer service!!

      • Karena

I had issues as well. The 1st WAGS I went to had the Garnier Fruitus Wonder Curls priced at 2 for $7 and a sign specifically indicating these were included in the $5 RR deal. They only had 1 in stock so I decided to go to another location. The 2nd WAGS had the items priced at 2 for $7 but no RR signage. I used my $5 RR (which had Revlon on it) from a previous Almay purchase and a new RR did not print for the Garnier Fruitus purchase. The manager who checked me out stated it was because the RR used was for the same products. I explained the RR used said Revlon and the items purchased were for Garnier Fruitus which is Loreal.

        • Sandra

The Garnier RR that is printing out lists Revlon as the manufacturer so don’t use the Almay RR (also from Revlon) to pay for it. I got the $5RR on the styling products that were 2/$7.

          • Karena

Wished I had known that. I thought it would be fine since Loreal is the retailer for Garnier.

    • Lisa

I bought their PureClean line shampoo & conditioner (it was 2/$7) and it DID NOT release the RR. I’m going to be calling the catalina/walgreens corp. companies tomorrow to see what is going on. I know my Walgreens has AWESOME customer service, but they are not the best at getting all their signage up by the time I get to the store (late Sunday afternoon). Needless to say, I was very confused when I was looking at all the Garnier. Almost didn’t get anything, but decided to try it. I can return the stuff I got if it turns out customer service can’t mail me a RR for it.

      • WagEmp

I tried to explain that its the bigger sizes. I placed the tags that matched up with the UPC. Most employees place tags without matching the UPC. IT’S ONLY FOR THE 6.99 AND 5.99. Not hard to figure out.

        • Karena

The 2 for $7 are included. The tags specifically states it in small print.

  2. Aurielle

I went to wags today. Did two reach transactions with raisins $2 in between. Came out cheap plus $4 RR on both order and a filler in between them. Great deal.

  3. weyanna73

I found a Zone Perfect 55 cent coupon in the SS 1-16 that doesn’t expire until 3-31-11. Just an FYI

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I did not get the $1/2 Mars Easter candy coupon in the RP 3/20.

    • Casey

Sorry! It must be regional. It came in mine and I often don’t get “hot” coupons.

    • Cristina

Yea I didn’t get that one either..

  5. Casey

Does anyone know if I already did the Neuragen rebate the last time (back in November/December-ish??) can I do it again? It’s for the same product, but during a different week. Thoughts? Anyone know the fine print? Thanks so much!

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m really glad the Reach deal worked for so many people! Wish I had been one of them though! 🙂 After the mgrs comment about “Couponers taking advantage” & “Tonight it STOPS”, I didn’t even dare try! Also, I had 2 Q’s for protein bars and the first one went through with no problem. The 2nd one didn’t, so I asked her to please take it off. After the person behind me was rung up, I asked her if she could please try again. I asked her if she would please adjust it down to .99 & she said she can’t. She called her mgr up front & I asked him the same thing. He replied “I guess I will”…but I could tell he was not happy about it. I usually have pretty good luck at stores & employees being friendly. But, last night just kinda bummed me out all around! I’ll go to my Rite Aid this afternoon and I KNOW the employees are ALWAYS nice and friendly there.

    • Shannon

I had problems at my Walgreens this morning with the Tena and Method hand soap deal. Neither of my register rewards printed. I used RR to pay but they were from different deals- now mind you I had done this just an hour earlier at a different Rite-Aid- had no problems. The manager told me that since I paid with RR that they wouldn’t print any more- I informed him only if it was from the same deal/manufacturer and I had just done the same thing at a different Walgreens. He said I had just been lucky before and it shouldn’t have printed. I knew that was not correct so I just conceded, left the store, and immediately called Walgreens corporate. They have assigned it to a senior management person and told me I should be called within 2 business days. If it had been a couple of dollars no big deal but this $12 of RR I didn’t get. This is the 2nd time I’ve had to contact corporate about using coupons at a Walgreens. Last time they were very responsive- I hope that’s the case this time- I’m seriously considering using up my RR and moving my prescriptions to no longer have to deal with them!

      • ann13861

Similar thing happened to me too! I bought an Almay product ot the $5 RR and then did , in a seperate transation, the Garnier styling products buy 2 get $5 RR deal the Catalina machine did NOT give me the $5. However, I complained to the manager and she gave me $5 since she couldn’t give me the RR for it. The sale is vague and it says only with with shampoo, conditioner, and stylers on the shelf. The cashier told me my stuff did not qualify and since I paid with my $5 RR from the Almay it wouldn’t print, but the gel and anit frizz serium are CLEARLY stylers so in the end after my fight I did end up with $5 back, but it was not easy!

        • WagEmp

Actually if you check the ad it says “participating” products, and the RR ads that are placed under that items that are “participating” in the deal will work. The picture is a picture of the items that are 6.99 or 5.99 (which are the bigger sizes). Please do not get mad at Wags or the Employees because you were not suppose to receive the RR.

          • Karena

The tags specifically indicated the Garnier Fruitus Wonder Curls were priced at 2 for $7 and included in the RR deal but they only had one in stock. I went to another location minutes away and purchased the exact items.and did not receive the RR.

          • ann13861

It also stated that the Almay $5 RR was on “participating products”. When I asked about the smartshade foundation, since it had no sign, I was told yeah it is on sale and would get the $5 RR we ran out of signs. I looked at the signs for the Garnier Fructis products and noticed it said stylers too. I just wish if certain things were excluded it was CLEARLY noted. I would have been 100% satisfied if I had purchased an incorrect item that I knew was not on the deal. However, it was stated vaguly and even the manager looked at me confused since the wording was so vauge to her.

The Almay only had signs under a few items, but everything I bought generated the RR. I think they just put the signs in the general area of the cosmetics, rather than tag every single item.

    • Ali

You should contact Wags corporate, I’d bet they would be very unhappy to hear that their managers are speaking this way in front of customers. It is disconcerting to me, at least! I don’t think we are doing anything wrong by using sales and coupons to our advantage. I personally think the grumpiest people are just jealous that we are getting killer deals, they act like we’re screwing Wags by planning these transactions carefully. The companies get their money back from turning in the coupons to the manufacturer, and corporate puts out the RR with the intention of people earning those RR when they buy the product. I’ve been fortunate enough to find two local Wags who have employees who are HAPPY for me when I get killer deals. They tell me all the time “girl, you know how to SHOP!” Tonight I spent $8.34 out of pocket, and saved more than $70 in my three transactions. You had better believe I would be going to corporate with a complaint if an employee, or worse yet a MANAGER, was RUDE to me because I was trying to use a sale, coupons and RRs together to get great deals. If they don’t want people taking advantage of these programs, they need to cancel them, rather than intimidate customers who may be new to couponing, or just not determined enough to speak up for themselves when the deals won’t go through, even when they are in line with the coupon policy. (PRINT a copy out and ALWAYS take it, it has been the only way I’ve gotten q’s adjusted down properly on more than one occasion.) All that said, I think these negative experiences are the exception, thankfully, and that most Wags’ employees are polite, friendly, and helpful.

EDIT: Whoa, didn’t mean to rant so much, sorry!

  7. sjohnson71

Just an FYI – I went to my Walgreens today (Tuscaloosa, AL) and found the Tena 42 count Ultra Thins on clearance for $6.50! I used my $2.50 off coupon and paid $4.00. Then, got a RR for $10. WooHoo!

    • hsmom

Me too! I didn’t think they were on clearance– but they did ring up at $6.49 w/ $10 RR generated… $6 MM!! Woohoo… (I’m in Minnesota.)

    • Lisa

I got the same deal! Also in MN.

      • Katie

I got the same deal; so excited!

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I purchased neuragen pn rebate deal. ($19.99 –> rebate back $19.99)
$10 MM COUPON was not accept by scanner.
so, manager put it in manually, and rebate form was not printe out.
I asked them, they didn’t know what was going on. So, I returened.
Anyone same issue? and let me know how am I doing.

    • HeidiR

I also bought the Neuragen PN for $19.99. I used a $10 off coupon. It did beep but the cashier put it in manually. The rebate form DID print for me. I am not sure why it did not print for you (poster above). I did the Neuragen PN last time Walgreen’s had it. Is this considered a new rebate? Can I do it again? Anyone know?

I hope so. I buy this for my father who is a diabetic. He says it smells bad, but it really helps with his foot pain. It is so expensive and a rebate helps alot.

      • Veronica

I purchased 2 of these last time just for the register rewards. If you are interested, I will send them to you.

      • Jody

I would also send you one of the Neuragens I have too. Email me if you would like it. Andyandjody@hotmail.com

I have a question about the buy one get one 50% off of the old spice collection. I have a coupon for buy one deodorant get one body wash free and another coupon from the p&g booklet for $1 off old spice deodorant and some $1 off for the old spice body wash.If i bought a deodorant and a body wash in one transaction would i be able to use one of each of those coupons? If so how would that work out? I am new to this an i am having trouble figuring it out in my head if it would work. I know i have used 2 coupons on bogo items. Any help would be appreciated. Also my in store coupon for the toothbrushes has a limit of 3 on it also. I am also having a hard time finding some of the coupons listed like the trident for example. Must have different coupons for different areas? I live in the chicagoland area. P.S. I LOVE your blog and it is very helpful, I have suggested it to a friend also and it is her favorite to follow.

  10. Mom2five

I didn’t get the 3$RR for the schick quattro razor, but I did get the RR’s for the Method soap and Always pads. I did use a 2$RR from a previous trip, so maybe that’s why the Schick Quattro RR didn’t print.

    • Sabrina

      I didnt get one either!

      • Mom2five

Where r u from? Wisconsin here

        • Sabrina

I am in Flint,MI and didnt get one…I am going to call the catalina number tommorrow and ask about it. I used rrs to buy it but I didnt think they were the same brand as it.?!?! but maybe I was wrong!!!

    • Sara

I didn’t get the RR for the razor either. So I asked and the employee said it was because I also used a coupon for that item. I said that couldn’t be it, because I’ve used coupons for items and gotten RR from them before. His manager gave me a $3 refund instead of the RR though, so it worked out. But I wish it would just work and I wouldn’t have to ask!
      I’m in Colorado, btw.

  11. Tyler

How does that Reach toothbrush deal work when the coupon explicitly states there is a limit of 3 items per customer (and Collin’s deal says you need to buy 4)??

    • Lindsey C.

I’m wondering the same thing. I think you may only need to be buy 3 and then get back $3 in RR (instead of buy 4 get back 4 RR). But I’m not sure.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

is not work with me too this morning i buy 4 no rr for me .

    • Amanda

I only bought three toothbrushes as that’s all I had coupons for and because of the ad limit. I received a $2 RR for buying them. Often at Wags you can get the discount on more than the ad limit.

    • joy

From what I was told from a Wags employee is that the limit is not required and that they can accept more than what the limit says. For example the Post Fruity Pebble deal a couple weeks ago, the in ad coupon stated limit 3 but I followed Collin’s deal scenario buying 5 with the coupon and had no issues whatsoever. Hope that helps 😉

    • Amber Leonard Hansen

Reach deal worked in Murrieta, CA today. I had 2 $1/1 and 1 $2/2 printables. Cashier adjusted the coupons down and a $4 RR printed out. Even though the limit says 3 you can often get the deal on more.

  12. Abby

Looking through my coupons, I realized I had a $2 off any Always pads and a $2 off any Always liners–I think I got the coupons with a free sample. My store didn’t have the liners, but I was able to get the pads for $.99 and the RR for $2 printed, no problem. I’m loving these Walgreens deals today!!!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

just to clear up one thing about the coupon order to give to the cashier the info on here is wrong the correct order is store coupons from weekly ad ivc from coupon books or monthly book by ad racks mfg coupons rr and then if you have say a 5 off 25 coupon last hope this clears up some thing the reason it is this order is because wags dosent give money back on cpn or overage for example last week with the renuzits the ad coupon made them 79 and the mfg coupon was buy 3 get 3 u were only paying 2.37 not 4.17 so u would get them for 2.37 i dont have a problem with my custumers using coupons and saving money but i dont like when it isnt done properly or people try to scam and i always try to be nice about it

    • Kim N

On the renuzit deal…My cashier (also manager) scanned the in ad coupon first. Then he scanned the manufacturers coupon and it beeped, he entered the regular price of the renuzit, and for 3 took off a total of 4.50. I said with the in-store coupon they are 79 cents each, he said yes but the manufacturer will reimburse us for the regular price. Ahhhhh! So, it would be scamming the customer if you only took off 2.37 when the manufacturer will give the store 4.50 for that coupon?

      • christina

That is what I said and thought. At the one by me, no problem they did the MQ and then in add and also the 55cents off three. The sencond walgreens, the lady got really nasty about it. I had 6renuzit and three arizona iced tea…it took her 10minutes because she was going on and on about the policy’s. She did the store then MQ, I tried to tell her the manager by me said it’s the MQ at 4.17 and the in add was an extra savings coupon, so it’s second. I should have just went back to mine. The 55 cent she went on and on how if it beeps she can’t take it and won’t put it through. I told her ot would wich only caused her to lecture again about it beeping and double couponing. I said the 3free is for the free, I can use one on what I buy. Well IT WENT through..no beep she didnt apologize, instead she still lectured….I should have left, I have had issues with them 3 for three. Last time they said I can’t use the beauty book and MQ, that they are both MQ…and they are not.

    • S

If you used punctuation, we might be able to read what you are trying to tell us. Just saying!

      • joy

Ha! I stopped reading half way through.

      • Angela

I guess not everyone can be perfect like you.

Do you really have nothing better to do with your time than trying to make others feel bad about themselves? How sad for you.

      • brenda

        not nice

  14. heidi

The planters deal isnt quit as nice. The walgreens coupon isnt actutally in the wags book. It is and it isnt. In the wags book it just says spend 15 in hershey, plantars etc and get coupons at checkout. so you dont get the 1/2 planters coupon unless you first buy the 15 in products.

  15. Renee

The Wags Almay Q wasn’t scanning at the Wags I went to, but they manually price adjusted it and it still generated the $5 catalina. I had 2 of the $2 Q’s, so it was even more of a money maker.

    • Karena

It wouldn’t scan for me either. I was told it was new and not in the system yet. A manager was able to enter it manually. Btw, are the coupons in the Beauty Guide booklet MF coupons or Walgreens coupons?

      • Renee

I think they are Wags coupons because they don’t have a numbered bar code or a send to address. I just found a few more Almay mfg coupons in mt stash, so I’m going to go again tomorrow and hope there’s still some makeup left!

        • Karena

I was told by the manager that it says its a MF on back so I wasn’t not allowed to stack the coupons but still a great deal.

          • Renee

I just looked at the back of it and it does say Manufacturer coupon only good at Walgreens, but yet it’s in a Walgreen’s book with an unscannable barcode, no address and says instant value coupon good at Walgreens on the front. How bizarre!!

Anyone who works at Walgreen’s know what kind of Q this is?

            • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

u may use it with a mfg coupon it is a store coupon from the mfg so they told you wrong

  16. cathy

Walgreens was a bust for me. (Well, it would have been, if it wasn’t for a GREAT manager.) I walked in the store at 9:10, one hour and ten minutes after they opened. All the tooth brushes and Tena’s were gone. My mother had a stoke six months ago and she hasn’t regained control. So, Tena’s are needed.
I asked the manager how many Tena’s they had in the morning. He checked their inventory and they had 21. So, we went to find out what happened. The cashier said four women bought all the Tenas and all the toothbrushes. They came in at 8am, loaded their cart.
Each would do two separate transactions, (because that was the stores policy) they’d put the items in the car and get back in line to get more. They did this until all the items were purchased.
The manager gave me a very nice discount on some other bladder control products and said he would hold three packages of tena for me when they come in.

I was able to get some Kettle chips and some Almay eye shadow for my daughter ( she just turned 15 and our rules are she can only wear makeup that I buy her. This was the first time I got her eye shadow and she was very happy when I got home. This picked up both of our days.)

So, after I check out of this Walgreens I drive up the street 10 minutes to another Walgreens. (They had the ester-c gummies, I had been looking for, for the last month.) As I walk in a see a sign posted on the door. It stated that only one RR per product will be given to a customer in a 24 hour period. This policy was for all the stores in my area.

I asked the clerk about it. She said, “I can still do two transactions for you, but if you have plackers flossers (or identical RR products) in both transactions. I will only give you the first RR. If I see you come back and buy a plackers flosser later in the day you won’t get the RR for that either.”

I asked they will print right. She said, “yes, but we won’t give it to you. We have had problems with people doing mutliple transactions to get large numbers of free items. We were selling out of items before noon on Sunday. Management tried ordering more, but some people just take everything we have when it’s free after RR. Our lack of having sells items was really upsetting our loyal customers (customers that buy more than just the sells items.) After our store and the other three down the street were cleaned off of plackers flossers, tena pads and reach brushes today we were told to put the sign up.”

Long post, I know but, shelf cleaning causes problems for everyone.

BTW: my CVS has a sign that states one person can only use one card per day. We had a number of people with 5 or more different CVS cards.
I asked the clerk what the sign

    • Lisa

I really love this policy. I hope they inforce it. These very few and very rude shelf clearers are rediculous. Here you are, looking for the product for your mother and you have these other yahoo’s clearing the shelves to have it sit on the shelves at their house. I love a good deal and plan my shopping day, but I would never have the nerve or gull to think I was entitled to the whole inventory of free or money making product. I am glad you talked to a nice manager!!! Sorry for the rant, but these few people ruin it for everyone!!!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your feedback!! I am a couponer but I do not believe in shelf clearing!! I feel that if you go back many times to buy the store out and make money like that it just isnt the right thing to do!! It even seems a bit fraudulent to me. If people continue to do this, there won’t be coupons any more!! So I hope alot of people read this post and try not to clear shelves!! I am happy the manager was nice to you:)

    • Rose

our store was out of toothbrushes because others purchased them last week. and the 4 or 5 ladies that got the 22 packs of Tena’s that is 4 or 5 a piece at most. and the manager is saving 3 for you. that is good you will get them. Should we base what we purchase by what is on the shelves? if there is 2 only get 1 or if there is 5 how many is to many to purchase. Its a hard thing for me to decide sometimes. and i know if i need them and dont get them they will be gone after one or 2 customers. Do they need to set limits on all items on ad?

    • Bee

I wouldn’t pretend to know what other people are doing with the free products, but I think it’s a good policy.

The thing is, I know of about 40 Walgreen’s locations within the metro area here (meaning I can drive to them all within 45 min to 1 hour). Supposing I just went to the ones I could get to in 30 min, it would still be in the high teens to twenty. When I need more than one of an item, I go to five different stores that are within 5-10 minutes of here. Or I stop in later in the week and get more. Surprisingly, they are there.

  17. ExcitedToSave

I am new to couponing and just got back from my second time at Walgreens using the suggestions at Hip2Save (thank you by the way!) The assistant manager was rude to me and I felt like the biggest fool. I was trying to use the $1 off any Dial lotion coupon on a $0.99 lotion. The assistant manager came up and said I could not use the coupon because it was a trial size which I politely noted was not excluded on the coupon. She then said they wouldn’t take it anyway. I referred to the corporate coupon policy and she said “I am not going to argue with you.” As she was walking away she said “Everyone wants something for free.” There was a line of people behind me and I was very upset and couldn’t believe how inappropriate her comments were. I felt like a criminal! ARRGGHHH!!!! I am going to call the manager tomorrow when she is in. Is this something I am going to continue encountering???

    • Bee

Well, it certainly shouldn’t be that way. Walgreen’s gives free stuff away all the time with RR. So, why is it so wrong to expect free stuff? Yes, she’s right. Some people are on a budget and need to find deals.

    • Melinda

YES, I am trying to get something for free! But I am not stealing it! We are doing it in a completely honest way, following YOUR store’s coupon policy. JEEZ, how rude!

I have encountered this attitude before, and it can be very discouraging. I try my best to be friendly and nice to the cashiers (even when they are wrong) and I have developed a friendship with several and now they are excited to help me.

    • sun

      Hi ExcitedToSave,

I am sorry you had a bad experience. Similar things have happened to me. When I gt home, I report these incidences to corporate. I simply stated the facts without getting emotional or drawing conclusions. Tell corporate what time, and specify location. I have had many WAGS managers personally call me on the phone to apologize. WAGS corporate does not tolerate rude customer service.

  18. Anne

A few months back, I got a coupon book from View Points with MC coupons from Lowes. One of the coupons was for $1 off any Method hand soap. So FREE soap for me and my friends that I shared the extra coupons with!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That Viewpoints Lowe’s campaign Method coupon states on the back: “Redeemable only at Lowe’s” and the Lowe’s emblem is right there on the front – I’m surprised that your WAGS allowed that coupon, mine sure wouldn’t have allowed it.

  19. THERESA FLORES

HERE IS A GREAT DEAL ON THE AIRWICKS!!!!!!!

Buy 1 get one free. In the Sunday all they had 4 dollars off coupon! So I graved 2 of the Airwicks and gave them 2 of the 4 dollar off coupons!! I got both for free!!!

I purchased 6 papers in total. I got 6 Airwicks for FREE!!!!!!!!

    • Rose

      were there any left?

      • THERESA FLORES

Yes! I don’t think people in my area know about this deal!

      • HeidiP

“are there any left?” what a strange question……unless of course you know the store the poster shops at and were going to run out and get some if there were any left…..the alternative seems to be you think that six was too many to buy……..its tiring to read about all the shelf clearing comments……personally if I found a good deal and bought more than 2-3 of an item I wouldnt mention it here, because it would surely bring the comments on!!! If people can afford the gas to buy one RR item, more power to them. I dont advocate shelf clearing, but I also dont care for all of the shelf cleairng comments either. Happy shopping all!!!!

    • Lisa

I was planning on doing this deal today too, but I couldn’t find them in my store. 🙁 Oh well, it’s not like I needed them.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i work at walgreens and im a fellow coupon finatic. just to let everyone know that the $4 coupon in the 3/20 for air wick will work on the freshmatics priced at 7.99 b1g1 so use two and a hunts tomato 3/1 and you get them both for 0.35 cents

    • Shelly T.

      Thanks for the tips Shay!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Went to 3 stores they were out only one store has it priced 9.99 even other stores had the same price. They had only 2 so I grabbed them went to register and they did not ring up b1g1free so she called the manager after showing the add he agreed but refused to use both coupons . He said u paid for one so u can only use one coupon. By that time I was so frustrated I just left the store.

  21. Wendi

Has anyone had any problems with finding the Reach Crystal Clean toothbrushes? I went to 2 diff Wags today and both were out of the toothbrushes. They told me they were waiting on display boxes that haven’t come in yet. UGH….

  22. Sharon T.

I’m surprised no one else commented on the sweet Kettle chips deal. On sale $4/3, and you can use 3 $1/1 coupons from today’s insert to make it $1/3, or .33, for a large bag!

    • Kristen

I didn’t get that coupon in todays paper ;(

  23. Liz

Just got back from my local walgreens and the cashier was so rude. She wouldn’t let me use the pure protein bar coupon because it exceeded the item price and then got really rude when I asked her when that policy had begun. Then I bought the Plackers but no register reward printed out. They were something I needed but still.

  24. Rachael

I just wanted to let people know that the Garnier RR is ONLY on the large sizes of the shampoo etc, NO STYLING PRODUCTS. I hung the signs at my store in IN on Sunday. Garnier 2/$7 hair care are goign to be running a RR next month.

  25. joy

Man! It really seems like Wags is having some issues this week! Very rarely do I shop Wags, only because I can never trust that I will get the full value of my coupon plus if I use a Wags coupon with a man. Q I have to add a “filler” item. No matter how much or how little the item I’m paying or in what order I give my coupons. I’m told the Wags Q are the same as man. Q’s. Very frustraing! I just stick to CVS 🙂

    • WagEmp

No you don’t. You can use a wags and Manf. coupon at once.

    • Renee

I’m the opposite. I rarely shop at CVS because the one by me never has anything that’s on sale, even on a Sunday morning. I rarely have issues with Walgreens not having something I want, and since there are many more Walgreens around me than CVS, I can drive a mile to the next one if they don’t have it. (Plus I have a favorite cashier at Walgreens, who is coupon friendly, while CVS hassles me, telling me nailpolish isn’t a color cosmetic!)

      • Shannon

Renee funny that you had the nail polish comment b/c last week at Walgreens the cashier told me that when the Revlon coupon said color cosmetic it meant nail polish and I couldn’t use it on eye shadow…I didn’t really need the eye shadow so I had her remove all of those items from my transaction! That’s the same walgreens that I had the problem at this week with the RR not printing.

  26. Jessica

I am new to this, just wondering if the 3 for $9.99 diet pepsi product coupon that is in this weeks rite aid insert will work at walgreens since it says manufacture coupon? I also have an additional $1 off diet pepsi 12 pack that is from ralphs but also says manufacture coupon. Will these work together and will walgreens accept them? Thanks!

  27. Nicole

Heads up for anyone wanting to get Prilosec

I just got stocked up today on Prilosec (got a hubby with bad heartburn) and some of the packages that are on sale right now have $10 worth of P&G coupons inside.
Not all the 28 ct boxes have them, but keep an eye out (the deal is printed on the outside box and the coupons are split between the two 14ct boxes inside).

    Coupons include: all Expire 08/31/2012!
$3/1 any box Align Digestive Care
    $1/1 any size Tide Detergent
    $1/1 any Vicks product
$3/1 any Pur Flavor Options faucet mount or pitcher
$1/1 any 1.2oz or larger Fixodent
    $1/1 any Charmin

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Target has the Bugles at the dollar section. I got mine at wags yesterday 🙁 but today I saw them there (4 FREE with the $4 coupons)
The quatro schick reward didi not print for me. They gave me a mail in form to get my 3RR in the mail.Who is paying me for postage wag or the manufacture? Nobody!!!

    • Casey

Do you know what size the buggles are at Target? Are they big enough for the coupon? I saw some at Walgreens that were only 5.5 oz, but coupon needed 6 oz or larger! 🙁

  29. Olivia

I hit Wags hard today!! I left there this evening with 3 packs of Tena (to be donated), 3 Burts Bees gift sets, 1 large bottle of Burts Bees body wash, 3 cans on Hunt’s tomato sauce, 4 Dove candy bars, 6 Almay eyeliners, 3 refrigerator memo boards, 1 doubles sided white board, 2 bags of Flossers, 9 Garnier Herbashine hair colors, 2 Clairol hair colors, and 2 full size Olay gift sets for A FINAL COST OF $7.58!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I went to Kroger and got 35 boxes of Purina One Beyond Cat food to be donated for $6.58 (taxes only) and earned 106 points towards gas discount!!

    • alicia

What coupons did you use for the burt’s bee and hair color. What was the final price of those?

      • Olivia

The Burt’s Bees sets were on clearance for $5 each (no coupons) and the Garnier HerbaShine was on clearance for $1 and I had $2 off coupons each one!

  30. Kate

Okay, so I had an issue tonight with Walgreens and don’t quite understand why there was a problem. They have Easter M&M’s on sale 2/$5. I had the $1 off 2 bags coupon out of the Walgreens March Savings Book. I also wanted to pair it up with the Save $2 off 2 Mars Easter Products. That would have made 2 bags for $2. They would not let me do it because they said I have to buy 4 bags in order to use both coupons. I don’t understand this because I am using 1 Walgreens coupon and one Manf. coupon, but they said they are both Manf. coupons. I have NEVER had this problem and for whatever reason it wouldn’t work tonight. Did I do something incorrect that maybe I am not seeing??

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

no the coupon in the easy saver is a store coupon not a mfg they should have taken both for u they even adverstistie with the easy saver coupon off the total go back and ask to speak to the store mgr or go to diff store and get refund

  31. Melissa

The coupons in my insert are for Trident Vitality which is a 9 pack…so this deal won’t work for me.
Did anyone receive coupons good for the 18 pack in their region?

Trident 18 piece $0.79 with in ad coupon
    Deal Scenario:
Buy 2 package of Trident Gum (18 piece varieties only) $1.29 each
    Total = $2.58
Use the Buy 1 get 1 Free coupon found in the 3/6 SS (will deduct $1.29)
Use the in ad coupon making each pack $0.79 (will deduct $1 total)
    Final cost $0.15 per pack!

  32. Rachael

Can you purchase more than one Almay product and still get the RR on all of them? I have multiple coupons for these products so I’m wondering if I can buy them all in one transaction and get the rewards for all of them, or if I have to do several transactions.
Also, can anyone tell me if the Coke deal is still going on where if I purchase a certain dollar amount(I think it’s $15) of specific items then a coupon for $2 off Coke Zero will print? I noticed the post about this deal a few weeks ago and didn’t have a chance to get it then so I was just curious as to whether or not I would still be able to get the coupon. I have some RR that I need to spend within the next couple of days and I was hoping to use them to get the Coke deal. If anyone can let me know about either of these deals I would appreciate it!

You can only get one RR per deal per transaction. So you would have to do each almay purchase in a seperate transaction in order to get the RR to print, but DO NOT use one RR to help pay for the next one (rolling) or it won’t print the new RR.

you have to do servaral trans to get each rr on almay ring up at cos they should be more then happy to help u since we get kick back money on some almay makeup

I have a question on the pure protein – I went today and attempted to get four but the forth coupon wouldn’t scan. She said that the three worked because I had four and that they couldn’t “adjust down to a penny” – so I asked her to remove the forth and that seemed to “work” and not remove that third coupon. how do I explain how they can “adjust down”?

When I used this a couple weeks ago the manager told the cashier to change the price of the bars to $1.00 so that the coupons would work without issue.

Wags is usually coupon friendly, but today I was told I couldn’t use both the $5/1Windex outdoor kit wags coupon from the March coupon booklet and the $3/1 mf cp because they are both mannys…..they said they no longer allow stacking booklet cps with mannys ..has anyone else been told this?

Liked the price I got Olay for today – one regenerist cleanser for 6.89 (used $3 off coupon) and 2 Olay body washes (7.99 BOGO; 2 – $1 coupons for each; and used a buy one cleanser get a body wash for free w/ a price limit of 4.99). So, cleanser and 2 bottles of body wash for 8.88.
