So cute, got my order in!

  2. Lynsey

Buyer Beware: I ordered these last time they were available and not only did they take 5 weeks (literally) to get to me, but they ended up just being the numbers 1-9…no alphabet. They also have this flimsy, circle magnet that seems to be glued on with Elmers because all of the magnets on my daughters have come off. And as most of you know, a child swallowing a magnet is a serious health risk to the organs.

I personally would pass on these.

    • Amber

Thanks for your response. I think I will pass.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Good to know..I’ll pass, then

      • Lynsey

Haha, makes sense. I feel silly, for some reason I was expecting the alphabet ones when I opened the package. ???

    • Carissa

I also ordered the Numbers set, and LOVE them! My niece loves to come over and play with them! On my set, the magnet is also small, but they are nudged into the wood, so it would be almost impossible to get them to come out! Is that how yours are? My niece comes over and grabs the addition and division signs and screams “Jesus Church” because she thinks they look like crosses! These magnets have brought us much enjoyment!

  3. bali

I ordered these the last time around, took only 10 days, they’re adorable, and no magnets have come off (yet). No kids here, I use these for random messages on my fridge 😀

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I think I will give it a try. I passed on it last time, then went to wallmart and wasn’t able to find any decent letter/number magnets less than $10.00 for a set. It seems to be a good price. Thank you!!!

  5. Megan Miller

I got the numbers last time and I just ordered the matching alphabet 🙂 One of the magnets has come off, but I have it set aside for a time when I can fix it. No biggie 😀

  6. Blaine

I ordered the number set last time as well, and was generally very disapointed. My twin boys managed to pick off the magnets on all of them within 15 minutes. They really should consider using hot-glue, something more permanent. My set was also missing two numbers…the three and five. For the price I paid, I did not feel terribly ripped-off…but don’t set your expectations too high. Shipping to Florida too FOR-ever, I actually gave up on them ever coming at one point.

  7. Heather

Thank you for the review Lynsey!! I was wondering how these were!

  8. Andrea

my 2 year old is readiong off the letters on my computer screen and having fun reading them…. man oh man, he likes them a lot but if they aren’t good quality then I probably should pass …. tough decision….

    • bali

you could always put an extra dab of hot glue or superglue around the magnets when you get them… definitely only good for supervised play if you have a small kid.

      • Andrea

Well, I decided to get them for him, he loved them so much of what he saw on the computer screen. I will save them for him for Christmas for putting in his stocking. It will be a fun surprise !

  9. lana2201

Good price. My daughter is 5, so no real risk of her swallowing the magnets. If needed, I will hot glue them before I give them to her just because I don’t want them falling apart. I missed out on the numbers last time, but got 2 sets of alphabet this time. Thanks Collin!

    • Boo Boo

My oldest son is 5 and I totally worry about him swallowing magnets. Funny how girls are more mature, even at 5. My three boys are little destructo monkeys.

      • lana2201

LOL! I Love the description! My daughter never drooled, put things in her mouth, or anything. She’s a weirdo 🙂

  10. jamie

I got the numbers last time, but am waiting to give them to my son (he’t still too young for them). The magnets seemed to be inside the wood to me, not just glued on. I could be wrong, but they seem good. I’m going to get the matching alphabet ones now.

  11. Rosanna

Does anyone know if these magnets are plain colored or if they are the decorated ones in the picture? the second picture in the description shows plain….hoping for the silly faces :).

    • Amanda

The 2nd picture shows the back of the letter where the magnet is 🙂

    • Camille

I’m thinking that the second picture shows the back of the letters-you can see the little magnet. Maybe they flipped the image?

    • bali

yeah they come painted as shown

      • Rosanna

Thanks! I guess i didn’t think of the back… not quite with it today! 🙂

  12. Christine

Im excited another little gift for my boys Easter baskets!

  13. Jamie

I ordered the numbers. They came quickly and are holding up well! There durable enough for my 4 yr old

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No complaints here on the number set we got. They took a little while to get to me but very cute and my son, 2 1/2, loves them. Considering the little magnets they used, they really do stay on the fridge well!

  15. Beth

I ordered them for my 3.5 year old. He’s not likely to put anything in his mouth and he’s pretty easy on stuff…mainly got them because he’s doing a great job learning his letters and any extra reinforcement is good! 🙂

  16. Pauline

About how big are these magnets?

    • Carissa

tiny. about 1/4 inch in diameter.

  17. Amanda

Just ordered the 2 pk for 7.59 so we can spell my daughters names Kayleigh and Gabriella (I needed a 2nd A lol) I also paid the .99 for faster shipping. I’m hoping they come before Easter so each girl can have 1 in her basket 🙂 I missed out on the numbers so I’m glad I got the letters!!!

    • lana2201

What about the 3 L’s in your daughters’ names? You may need a 3rd set!! LOL

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        I see three A’s too! 🙂

      • wolfe317

maybe they have nicknames like gabby or something? hopefully!

    • Amanda

I was thinking more along the lines of doing one name and then doing the other name lol

  18. Gabrielle

I think these are adorable 🙂 I bought them for my fridge. I’m not expecting them to be top notch wooden magnets and I’ll probably have to break out the hot glue gun, but for 3.99 oh well! I love the colors, and after my son grows out of them I can use them when I start teaching preschool.

  19. krystle

I ordered the numbers when they were posted..they were ok I guess. Kinda on the small size but alright…

  20. Becky

I went ahead and ordered them also! I missed the deal on the numbers, but I went ahead and ordered them today. They look super cute!

  21. Nycra

I got the number set last time and was very pleased with them. I guess it all depends on your tastes. The magnets were inset in the wooden numbers and my little one has not been able to pick them out because of the tight inset fit. They took about a month to get to Indiana, but I am used to shopping on eBay internationally so I was prepared for the wait. International shipping policies have recently changed so expect long delays for customs and security. These are really a good buy for 4.00 as were the numbers for 1.50.

  22. Andrea

I hope the numbers will go on sale again because I would love to have them for my 2 year old also. Too bad the numbers didn’t go higher than 0-9 because my son counts to 14 so far and he will need bigger numbers to keep up with him…. =)

  23. Kerrington

I ordered the number set and yes, the magnet is glued in a hole inside of the wood, but my daughter was able to get several of them to fall out by very lightly tapping. They obviously use the wrong type of glue. Be prepared to keep a close eye on kids when they are playing with these and to super or hot glue the magnet back into place. A child swallowing one magnet probably won’t hurt them, but if they swallow two…it could be fatal. I would not recommend this particular product for small children.

  24. Tammi

I ordered the numbers last time and they are cute, but very cheap made. If you have little ones that put stuff in their mouths or boys like I have that aren’t always gentle with things then you might want to pass. Within a couple days pieces of wood were already breaking off of them and I have since put them away. I like good deals, but it’s not worth it to me if I have to deal with splinters or choking hazards.

    • Boo Boo

That would be my boys! I’ll pass. I have major fear of magnet swallowing.

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Totally of topic, but did anyone order the stickers for the walls that collin posted about a while back? I can’t for the life of me remember where they were ordered from, and I can’t find an email anywhere. I ordered the Alphabet stickers for my sons wall. Thanks.

    • yenay m

      Was it totsy

  26. Lynne

I got the numbers last time and my 18 month old loves them. I thought the magnets were attached well, and have not had any issues with them….well other than being all over my kitchen floor all the time!!

  27. Bekah

Got them for my son’s Easter basket! Thanks Collin!

  28. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I also ordered these last time and do not think they are worth the money. They are cute, but small and they only have one very small magnet on the back so they do not stick well at all. You woudn’t be able to hold up a piece of paper with them, they can barely hold themselves. Save your money and buy ones that are made for kids as these certainly are not!

  29. theresa

I bought the numbers and my 20 month old loves them!! I plan on getting these too!

  30. Boo Boo

How big are these? Someone above answered 1/4 inch, but she must have been talking about the actual magnet. How big are the letters? I can’t seem to see it anywhere.

  31. heather

i ALMOST bought them…when i was trying to figure out the .99 expidited shipping, i saw that these come from the China warehouse (i assume because they are made there) and i just can’t bring myself to buy them. USA made, i’d be all over it. maybe next time 🙂

  32. Amanda

I bought these yesterday and just got an email saying i’m sorry we sold out so we refunded your credit card.
