In the end (if you do all 3 transactions), you’ll have paid a total of $16.18 out of pocket (or less if you started with Extra Care Bucks that you were able to roll onto your first transaction) for a total of 15 grocery, food, household, and cleaning items!…BUT, you’ll walk out with $3 in Ecb’s to use next time. Now keep in mind, you can spend even less money out of pocket if you have the time and patience to do quite a few transactions where you are basically buying one Extra Care Buck deal and then using the Ecb you earn from that deal to buy the next Ecb deal. I personally think that is too much work, so I usually opt for buying a few different Ecb items in the same transaction and then rolling those Extra Care Bucks onto another bigger transaction. Once you get the hang of CVS shopping, you can start doing larger transactions since it’s quite easy to build up the amount of Extra Care Bucks you earn on a weekly basis.

…And one more note, these scenarios are just to get ya thinkin’, so don’t feel like I am telling you to go buy the exact items I have listed. I also am not stating that you need to do all 4 transactions at once. In fact, I would suggest not doing that. Instead, pick a couple days during the week to stop by Walgreens to complete all transactions OR if you have a few Walgreens stores near you, then make a point to stop at a couple different stores to roll your Register Rewards. Enough rambling… basically, figure out what works best for you!
