Thanks Collin for posting this. I used this last week and it worked like a charm. Used it tonight and picked it up on the way home from soccer practice and our to go bill came to $23. Not bad for a family of 4 eating at home, no cooking and no dirty dishes! thanks

Just placed a to go order and got both kids meals and skillet queso for free with two entree purchase! YAY! I am so hungry!!! :)

we went last tuesday to chili’s and the “tuesday kids eat free” is just a special that they have every week (up on thier sign) no coupon needed. I was able to then use the free appetizer coupon without a problem!

Has anyone tried this at a military base overseas? My friends and I always took our families and single friends out to a huge group dinner on Okinawa once a week and this would have cut our bill down a lot. I’m no longer there, but I forwarded it to the girls and they are going to try it.

We went last week and got three kids meals for free and the chips and queso free but to make it better my husband and I split the two for twenty dinner that comes with an appetizer. For $22.00 feed five people with two appetizers. Yeah!

I am so excited they are doing this every week. This has been such a treat for me and my family. We’ve been getting dinner to go for 6 for about $15! When I went in to order last week the employee said ‘oh, it’s you again’, but not in a bad way. I wanted to tell him, ‘as long as I can feed my family for this price, you’ll see me every week!’ I also sent a thank you e-mail to Chili’s just to express how wonderful it is for them to do this. And I love not having to clean up after dinner on Tuesdays!

We tried to get it “to go” last week and they wouldn’t let us do it. 🙁

I called in to the Chilli’s nearest my home and asked if I could use the coupon on a “to go” order and the mgr said “yes, i’ll honor it, look forward to seeing you later”! im excited since otherwise i’d have to go all the way home, get my girls ready then come back out…I say, try another location, all they can say is no! good luck!!!

lots of choices. I can remember a few. pizza, cheese quesadilla, corn dog (i think), kiddie burger, hot dog, mac and cheese, chicken fingers, some pasta dish, and grilled chicken. There are more I’m sure, just can’t remember them all. Each comes with a side and there are several choices for that as well.

I was offered on the P & G site: Head & shoulders, Prilosec OTC, Tampax Pearl and another tampon type, and a coupon of Cheer 🙂

    Thanks Collin,
Once again today I got 4 kids meals and 2 adult entrees for $20.48. I ordered early and picked up and will reheat for dinner because we have soccer and softball games tonight and it makes it so nice to come home pretty late, heat it up quickly and then their off to brush teeth and bed with no dishes to clean.
    You rock!

I called my Chilis (Chesterfield, VA)- this is not a weekly offer, I have to have the coupon. Also, the manager wasn’t sure I could use both coupons. The chips & queso coupons says “Limit one per table.” and “Multiple coupons cannot be combined,” and I’ll have a free kids meal coupon too, so not sure I can use both. Fingers crossed, they will let me!

Our restaurant gave us a hard time for not having the actual coupon. they eventually honored this deal, but with hesitation and nonsense and stated next time we would HAVE to have the coupon! 😉

Thsi is not all chili’s either.. i just called mine to see if they would honor it to go and they don’t honor the coupon at all.. she finally said she would give me ONE free kids meal if we ordered two entrees.

This was a big epic fail for us! 🙁 This is def. a YMMV (your manager/mileage may vary). Not only would our Chili’s not let us use the free kids’ meal coupon with the the 2 for $20 meals, but they only let us get two free kids’ meal when we ordered three kids meals and ordered two regular entrees (not from 2 for $20). Our Chili’s said I needed two coupons to get all three kids meal free. Unfortunately, my printer went down today so I took a pic of coupon with my phone. They accepted it but only for two of the kids’ meals. The waitress told us this up front, of course, after she went and spoke to manager. Our total was $34+. I was hoping for more like $24.

So this was not a bargain for us at all, which is sad because we rarely eat out because of cost. But we had some extra $ in our budget this week and wanted to treat ourselves. But I don’t think we will be doing this again. Honestly, even with free kids’ meal promotions anywhere, we still end up paying over $30+ for a family of five (with tip). Plus, soon my oldest ds will be too old for kids’ meals. Sigh! 🙁

I had trouble with it also. My restaurant took both coupons (I called ahead of time to make sure) and when I glanced quickly over the receipt it looked correct. However, I checked it again when I got home, and they didn’t take off the 2nd kids meal. So I called about it & they were very helpful, will refund me tomorrow when I stop back in. They were nice to do that but it’s enough of a hassle that I probably won’t do it again. Too bad because I do love take out!

we did this last night and it was a big pain… they would not let us combine the coupon with the 2 for $20 deal. They did. however, let me use my coupon for a free birthday dessert with it though. The main problem was just that they were slammed and understaffed… long wait, orders not correct, steak overdone, waited 20 minutes just to get my bill at the end! etc etc etc. Do not think I will try this deal again…
