Recyclebank: Earn More Points + Reward Specials

You can earn even more points on Recyclebank this week! Just head on over there and create an account (if you haven’t done so already). After you are logged in, click on the “Earn Points” tab and you should a banner image (like the one pictured above) – click the “Enter Now” link to enter the Green Your Home Challenge. There are over 100 prizes including an $18,000 grand prize green kitchen makeover! Plus, the living room in the green contest is now unlocked which means you can score even more FREE Recyclebank points! Check out the email I received from reader, Annie:
The living room in the green contest is now unlocked! I think I received around 30 points for taking 2 polls and 2 pledges. There are also new coupons for Honest Tea, Dogaba chocolate, and Aveeno! Happy Earth Month, Collin!!

If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is. RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes. You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available.

Is it worth it to do Recycle Bank if your city does not participate? Are there enough other ways to earn points? Thanks for any input!

Yes, definitely!!!!! I have gotten so many mailed and IP coupons it’s not even funny! It’s also helped me get free/MM offers as well. And oftentimes they will have super cheap coupons at 10 points, and Collin always posts them so keep your eyes peeled!
This HONEST TEA next week is 3 for $4 with $1 ECB, so if you were to order 3 of the honest tea coupons, you would get three FREE after ECB!

Yes! My city does not participate, but I get points through codes that are posted here and doing surveys/quizzes, etc. I’ve been able to redeem for coupons that are mailed or IPs.

The living room was unlocked for me this morning but there were no polls when I clicked on each of the x’s so I didnt earn any points
Update: Finally got all the living room points after allowing pop ups and signing in and out and back in several times.

I printed the coupon – it does not say WHOLE FOODS anywhere on the coupon so you can just is anywhere. It is a Manufacturer’s coupon. But if you do redeem it at Whole Foods in the month of April, you will earn 25 points.
