No luck for me finding the CARS dvd. They were sold out already at all the stores within a 30 minute drive of me this morning. So frustrated! I was told they only got 5 copies of it in to begin with. You would think with a sale like this advertised in the Sunday paper they would have had more copies!
They probably did that so they wouldn’t have to give a bunch of discounts.
I went to the Best Buy in Waterford, CT. They wouldnt let me combine the $10 discount with my coupons. I was pretty bummed, but still bought them because it was a good deal!
I was also at the Waterford, CT Best Buy, getting the deal depended on which manager you got!
I went to BB earlier and they had lots of copies of The Incredibles but no copies of Cars. They said they checked in the back but I’m honestly not entirely sure they did. Oh well. I called Target to ask if they would price match the $10 off they said no. I ended up going by there and buying them anyway. I was going to get them to price match the $2 difference on The Incredibles and they ended up taking $5 off of it and $3 off Cars (on top of my coupons). Plus I got 5% with my Target card. I didn’t do quite as well as I would have at BB but $24 for two movies and two tickets to Cars 2 is not bad at all.
sent my hubby to Best Buy today to get this deal and they would not let him combine the ten dollar coupon with the disney in store offer. It was not worth it for us since we own both already and really wanted the movie tickets. Oh well.
I went to BB around 1pm and was able to snag this deal. To make it even better, I had a $20 BB reward. I paid $3 and some change for both movies and I’ll get the 2 movie tickets. I’m going to use the DVDs to put in Easter baskets for my boys. Thanks!
My Best Buy was out (someone buy all copies of Cars!). Walmart was more than willing to match Best Buys deal and they had plenty of both copies. I was so happy! I’ll definitely be going back to Walmart!!!
Flint Michigan here and my BB wouldn’t let me combine the $10 discount with my coupons! Calling corporate office to ask about coupon policy right now.
I just went to Walmart and they did honor the Best Buy deal. I guess it depends on the manager. 🙂
This morning I went to Best Buy when they opened and I had no problems whatsoever. They had like 6 copies of Cars and 12 copies of incredibles on a table in the front with some other feature items. There was hardly any customers at the store. The cashier rang both up, the $10 discount popped up and she applied it, and after that she applied each of the manufacturer coupons. I was just surprised that tax was at least $3.
If you have the option to chose, I usually go for the young ones since they seem or tend to be more lenient, but then again, who knows.
Also, make sure you check the back. I would think they would have a decent sized stock or else, after 5 people, their entire stock could potentially be gone. After all, the newspaper ad even says there’s a limit of 5 you can get.

While you are at BB – look in the DVD section with all of the kids movies – I found Night at the Museum (both versions) for only $7.99 – not a great deal UNTIL you get a free movie ticket with sticker on front! Woohoo! I bought both for $7.99 each + tax and got two free movie tickets (well $7.50 off at least 🙂 ) So be sure to check 🙂
Also Enchanted Widescreen DVD was done to $4.99! I already own this but if I didn’t – what a great deal!

JUST A HEADS UP I TRIED BEST BUY ALSO AND THEY WONT NOT LET ME USE THE COUPONS. TOYS RUS ALSO IS OFFERING 10 OFF WHEN YOU BUY BOTH I ENDED UP PAY 29 BUCKS WITH TAX ITS A LITTLE MORE THAN BEST BUY . BUT THE CASHIER GAVE ME NO PROBLEM

Walmart would only price match to 24.99 for both, then let me use my MQ’s. They would not give me my additional $10 off. That was after an hour of speaking with them and them calling Best-Buy to confirm the deal. At one time there were 6 people discussing the deal, it was crazy. I just couldn’t get over their in ability to figure it out.
I went to Best Buy (Aventura, FL) this morning and was able to do the deal with no problems. I am very thankful for Collin posting this.

Thank you for this post! I was only going to get Incredibles Blu ray with the $10 coupon instead, after reading your post, I ended up getting both blu’s (Cars included) for under $25 AT Best Buy today with this exact offer combination.
In all fairness to BB, the coupons do say not apply applicable with any other special discount, which worried me about the additional $10 BB savings when I was checking out.
But Implemented my MinTrick’d powers and started asking the cashier how her day was, liked her hair…blah, blah, blah. Not saying this is how I pulled it off but at least I can be witness to successfully purchasing this deal with both coupons.
So in conclusion, if they deny you…reference to what you’ve read “all over the web” that other BB’s are doing it for others, why am I being discriminated against? Lol
I am excited about incredibles on Blu! Cars…I was going to wait for when Cars 2 came out on Blu for a potential savings bundle. But the idea of getting 2 Disney Blu’s for $12 per was enough of a smart buy to pull the trigger! As I rebuild my Disney collection to Blu-ray from DVD, I’ll take all the savings I can through dollar cost averaging. Love the disneymovierewards program!

This was a great deal! When I went to Best Buy, they were out of the Cars combo pack, but the associate was more than happy to order it for me and have it shipped free to my house. I still got the promotional price as well. Maybe this will work for some of you who showed up to BB only to find that the blu-rays were sold out already!
I went to my local Best Buy (Destin, FL) and had no luck. They tried explaining it as “doubling dipping” which I kindly corrected is not. So I took my business to Walmart where they price matched it, took the additional $10 off, and both MF coupons with no problem.
So if you’re wanting to get this but your BB is being difficult, I suggest Walmart. Since BB ad says “$10 off wyb both) and has the price listed of both the combo packs, you shouldn’t have any problem as their coupon policy specifically says $$ off a specified price.
My BB gave me the “double dipping” speech too. I’ll try Wal-Mart tomorrow. So disappointed in BB for not ante-ing up and honoring its ad.
my best buy wouldnt let me do the deal. said i was double dipping… so i took an ad over to target just to discover the guy at best buy never gave me my coupons back. so frustrating!!!
Just went to my Best Buy (Fort Worth, TX) and had no trouble with the purchase. Went back in and bought a second set as gifts. (Website lets you print more than one coupon)

Went to Best Buy today and got the deal with no problem. There were about 5 copies left of each one when I got there. I was able to print 2 copies of the deal since my fiance and I each have a Disney rewards account/different printers. So we got 4 blu rays for $50 and 4 Cars 2 tickets. It’ll def be a good present to give to someone 🙂
I was able to get this deal at our BB in Ankeny, IA just fine. However, I have entered everything into my Disney Rewards account and I can only print one ticket for the Cars 2 movie. Anyone else having this problem?! I put in both movies, but can only get one code to come up for the free ticket. 🙁
